Born June 18, 1916, in Altoona, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William C. and Lillie Cornelius Lister.

She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Burnt Cabins United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Pat Knepper of New Holland, Pa.; three sons, William Parsons, Barry Parsons and Carl Parsons, all of Hustontown, Pa.; one stepdaughter, Beverly Cisney of Conneaut Lake, Pa.; three stepsons, Ronald Cisney of Atlantic City, N.J., Leland Cisney of Highland Village, Texas, and Dennis Cisney of Warren, Pa.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton C. Lister; and a grandchild.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Donald Bard will officiate.
Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 322 N. Second St., McConnellsburg.
Carolyn Jean Guessford Upperman
ST. Born July 25, 1946, in Augusta, W.Va., she was the daughter of Betty Leona Smoot Wright of Chewsville, and the late James E. Wright Sr.
She was a housewife.
She was a Protestant.
She was a member of American Legion Post 612 Auxiliary in St. Thomas.
She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Upperman, whom she married
June 11, 1988; two daughters, Robin Miller of Hagerstown and Kimberly Hovanec of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, Roy Guessford Jr. of Greencastle, Pa., and Rodney Guessford of Williamsport; one stepson, Christopher Upperman of Chambersburg, Pa.; six sisters, Helen Wright of South Carolina, Janice Walling and Debra Duvall, both of Hagerstown, Dolores Atha and Patricia Wright, both of Williamsport, and Bonnie Meyers of Chambersburg; five brothers, James Wright Jr., Gary Wright, Ray Wright, Donald Wright and Karl Wright, all of Chewsville; seven grandchildren; and two stepgrandsons.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. Pastor Joseph Quesenberry will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday following the service until 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 101 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
Joseph W. Rahauser
QUINCY, Pa. - Joseph W. "Joe" Rahauser, 80, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 62 N. Linden Ave., Greencastle, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, May 9, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born June 29, 1918, in Antrim Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph Wilbur and Zella Blanche Stoner Rahauser.
He was a 1936 graduate of Greencastle High School.
He managed Rahauser Heirs Farm in Greencastle, Pa., and was a salesman of livestock feed and minerals for Moor Man Manufacturing Co. of Quincy, Ill., retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ of Greencastle, sang in the choir and as a young man played the violin in the Sunday school orchestra.
He was the founder and a former leader of the local 4-H Baby Beef Club.
He is survived by his wife, Marian K. Krusey Rahauser, whom he married
Dec. 5, 1940, also a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home; one daughter, JoAnn Marie Rahauser of Hamburg, Pa.; and one sister, Isabelle Rahauser Gingrich of Chambersburg.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. The Rev. Donald E. Reese will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, Franklin County Chapter, 225 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Arrangements are by Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle.
Eureka B. Bain
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Eureka B. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira W. Bain, in 1979.

She was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by four daughters, Edna May DeMint of Ijamsville, Md., Helen B. Hann of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., JoAnn Keith of McVeytown, Pa., and Sara K. Helman of Burnt Cabins, Pa.; one son, George Bain of Big Cove Tannery; two half-sisters, Mary Lowans of Greencastle, Pa., and Goldie Strait of Sycamore, Ohio; one stepbrother, Earl Barnhart of Harrisonville, Pa.; 27 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ira B. Bain; and two sisters, Mary Jane Slee and Nancy Hoffman.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 322 N. Second St., McConnellsburg. The Rev. Belvy White will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
Nathan L. Tappen

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Amanda Tappen of Chambersburg; maternal grandmother, Lois Jean Gargaro of Chambersburg; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Tappen of Naples, Fla., and Chambersburg.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. Msgr. Thomas Brenner will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

She worked as office assistant in her husband's medical office.
She was a member of Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, Greencastle, and was active in Frostburg Methodist Church.
She was charter president of Soroptomist Club, president of Homemakers Club, active in P.T.A. and Chiropractic Auxiliary, and involved in local and state civic organizations in the Frostburg area.
She is survived by one daughter, Anna Grace Holloway of Rye, N.H.; two sons, Adam D. Baer Jr. of Titusville, N.J., and John W. Baer of New Castle, N.H.; two sisters, Ruth West of Edgewater, Md., and Esther Johnson of Chambersburg; three brothers, Dwight Grove and John L. Grove, both of Greencastle, and Ethan Grove of Clinton, Md.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Shohat.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Nelson Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Stouffer Family Cemetery in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
