Born June 25, 1916, in Winchester, Va., he was the son of the late Moddie G. and Delia M. Metz Chamberlin.
He was a 1934 graduate of Greencastle High School.
He was employed with Lehman's Egg Service near Greencastle, as plant manager for 25 years.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg, and was currently attending Otterbein United Brethren Church, Greencastle.
He was a lifelong member of Rescue Hose Company 1, Greencastle, Waynesboro Elks Club, a social member of Harry D. Zeigler V.F.W. Post 6319, Greencastle, Waynesboro A.A.R.P. Chapter 739.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vivian M. Shrader Chamberlin; three sisters, Phyllis P. Meyers of Chambersburg, Kathryn C. Hartle of North Palm Beach, Fla., and Delia C. Shrader of Waynesboro; one brother, Robert A. Chamberlin of New Port Ritchey, Fla., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. David Rawley will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

George E. Hartzell
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - George E. Born Aug. 27, 1902, in Fayetteville, he was the son of the late Dr. Charles A. and Ida Brindle Hartzell.

He was a graduate of Albright College, Reading, Pa.
He was a retired forester, working at Michaux State Forest, Caledonia, Pa., for many years.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He was a member of Fayetteville Fire Department, Fayetteville Athletic Association and numerous sporting associations.
He was also a professional baseball player in the minor leagues.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. David L. Hefner will officiate. Burial will be in Quincy Cemetery, Quincy, Pa.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ronald L. Miller
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ronald L. Born May 4, 1951, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Edith Summers Fuller of Chambersburg and the late Charles Kenneth Miller.
He was a 1970 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He was employed with Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, Pa. for 28 years. He also had been employed at Mason-Dixon Auto Auction, Greencastle, Pa., for 10 years.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg.
He was a member of Chambersburg Borough Fire Department serving as Assistant Chief 1-1 and was an active firefighter in Franklin County for the past 22 years.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 842, Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, Hume-McNeil-Byers AMVETS Post 224, Marine Corps League, and Chambersburg Club.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Kristen C Presley, of Chambersburg; two brothers, Charles R. Miller and Garry E. Miller, both of Chambersburg; a special friend, Barbara Toms of Hagerstown; one grandson; four nieces; two nephews; two aunts and one uncle.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, John Fuller.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 33 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Patrick B. Jones and the Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, and following there will be a reception in the fellowship hall of King Street Brethren Church, 130 North Second Street, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chambersburg Active Firefighters, 130 North Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Frances G. Spangler

She was employed with Greencastle-Antrim School District as a school bus aide for 18 years. She also worked at the former Waynesboro Knitting Mill.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church, Coseytown, Pa., where she was a member of Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
She also served as a Girl Scout leader in State Line.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ray G. Spangler; four daughters, Rose Shearer, Donna Stouffer and Diana Jones, all of State Line, and Robin Blair of Greencastle, Pa.; one brother, Charles D. Harmon, Jr., of Waynesboro, Pa.; one half-brother, David Rubeck of Ohio; one half-sister, Betty Stump of Virginia Beach, Va.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Richard Rubeck and Steve Rubeck.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St, Greencastle. The Rev. James Mack and the Rev. Arnold Wagaman will officiate. Burial will be in Shank's Church of the Brethren Cemetery near Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Merle S. Moore. Sr.
STATE LINE, Pa. - Merle S. He was preceded in death by his wife 61 years, Virginia B. "Ginny" Koons Moore.
He was a 1934 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He was a farmer all his life. He also worked at the former Victor Plant, Waynesboro, as a machinist. During World War II he was a machinist for Westinghouse in Philadelphia and he also worked at Landis Tool Company, Waynesboro.
He served in the 102nd Waynesboro National Guard Cavalry Unit.
He was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Upton, Pa.
He is survived by three sons, John D. Moore and Merle S. Moore, Jr., both of Greencastle, Pa., and Charles F. Moore of Hagerstown; four sisters, Evelyn Fitz of Clear Spring, Ruth Parmer and Vonda Nowell, both of Waynesboro, and Rhoda Brake of Mercersburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles H. Moore Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Alan R. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
