Statler, 94, a resident of Shook Home and formerly of 242 Fifth Avenue, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Shook Home.
Born Oct. 22, 1904, in St. Thomas Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Crissey O. and Mary Esther Shatzer Ehrhart.

She was retired from J. C. Penny Company. She also worked in the business office of The Public Opinion, Chambersburg.
She was a life long member of Trinity United Church of Christ, St. Thomas.
She is survived by one daughter, Geraldine Robinson of Chambersburg; one sister, Mary E. Witmer of Chambersburg; two brothers, Orrin E. Ehrhart of St. Thomas and Oscar L. Ehrhart of Waynesboro, Pa.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert Dean Morrison will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.

Earl L. Hykes
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Earl L. Hykes, 85, of 3610 Buchanan Trail West, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at his home.
Born April 27, 1913, in State Line, Pa., he was the son of the late Cyrus and Jennie Mae Trovinger Hykes.
He was a retired lifelong farmer. He was the caretaker and manager of Beautiful View Cemetery, State Line, for many years.
He was a lifelong member of Trinity United Brethren Church of State Line.
He is survived by two sisters, Mary E. Daugherty of Greencastle and Elva M. Fahnestock of Chambersburg, Pa.; two brothers, Edgar H. Hykes of Waynesboro, Pa., and Roy T. Hykes of Baltimore; and a number of nieces and nephews;
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Harold Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St, Greencastle. The Rev. J. Herman Fisler will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Ross I. Mummert
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ross I. Born Jan. 5, 1913, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Calvin D. and Flora M. Hollinger Mummert.
He was retired from J. Raymond Smith Furniture Co., Shippensburg, Pa., in 1988, and prior to that he was a farmer.
He was a member of Brant's Church of the Brethren. St. Thomas, Pa.
He was a member of Norland Chapter AARP 3261.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, L. May Meyers Mummert; two sons, Jay R. Mummert of Chambersburg, and E. Alan Mummert of Denver, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Besore, Hazel Grove, and Mary Mummert; and two brothers, Paul Mummert and Lloyd Mummert.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Brant's Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Rick Hostetter and the Rev. Charles Martin will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, and hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.

Yvonne M. Boxler
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Yvonne M. Born May 30, 1952, in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of Janet Steele Grunza Platt of Johnstown and the late John Grunza.
She worked as a printing press operator for the past nine years, at Regency Thermographers, Inc. in Waynesboro, Pa.
She enjoyed summer camping with her family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Donald I. Boxler; two sons, Neil A. Boxler and Justin A. Boxler, both at home; a sister, Janet Boxler of Fayetteville; two brothers, John Grunza of Gettysburg, Pa. and Mark E. Grunza of Johnstown; a half sister, Charlene Stanton of Johnstown; a half brother, Charles Platt of Johnstown; stepfather, Charles Platt of Johnstown; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Chaplain Charles L. McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Walter P. McNew

He was a member of Rescue Hose Company 1, Greencastle, where he was an active firefighter.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Patti J. Nunemaker McNew; one daughter, Danielle Henry of Fayetteville, Pa.; four sons, Benjamin McNew, at home, Walter McNew Jr., of Fayetteville, Brian McNew and Adam McNew, both of Chambersburg; two stepdaughters, Shilo Gourley of Waynesboro, Pa., and Jana Nunemaker, at home; one stepson, Allen Sacrey, at home; two sisters, Sheila Ramsey and Roxanna Vaughn, both of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Foster C. McNew.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. George Pogue will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service.
Jennifer L. Pine
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Jennifer L. She was a part-time employee of White Tail Ski Resort, Mercersburg.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor Brethren In Christ Church, Mercersburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Jason L.A. Pine, at home; maternal grandparents, Delores and Leroy Leese of Mercersburg; paternal grandparents, Charles A. and Dorcas L. Pine of Mercersburg; paternal great-grandmother, Zelda Laye of Fairplay and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Tabor Brethren In Christ Church, Mercersburg. The Rev. Roy E. Brake, Sr., and the Rev. David E. Pine will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mercersburg.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg.
