Born Feb. 1, 1916, in Antrim Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Ira A. and Mary Picking Coldsmith.

He attended Greencastle High School.
He was employed by Greencastle-Antrim School District as business manager until retiring in 1978. He was employed prior to that by Farmer's Union Co-Op of Greencastle as a milk inspector. Prior to that he farmed.
He was a member of Ebenezer United Brethren in Christ Church near Greencastle where he taught Sunday School for many years and was active in the work of the church.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Citizen's National Bank of Southern Pa. He served on the Antrim Township Board of School Directors, serving as secretary. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Piney Mountain Home Fayetteville, Pa., and served on the Board of Rhodes Grove Camp near Chambersburg for a number of years and was a member of Gideons International Franklin County South Chapter.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathryn M. Wartluft Ulrich Coldsmith; three daughters, K. Louise Tice, Gladys C. Doyle and Mary Jane Carbaugh, all of Greencastle; one sister, Thelma B. Coldsmith of Greencastle; one step-son, Roger M. Ulrich of Wyomissing, Pa.; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer United Brethren in Christ Church, 3661 Williamson Road, Greencastle. The Rev. Ralph L. Fry, Jr., the Rev. Richard E. Mose and the Rev. Wilber L. Sites, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle and Wednesday at the church one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 48, Rouzerville, PA 17250 or to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Dolores M. Wetzell
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Dolores M. Wetzell, 65, of 150 Farm Lane, and formerly of Langhorne, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at her home.
Born March 18, 1934, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Margaret M. Shields Davis.
She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Orrtanna, Pa.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Walter R. Wetzell, whom she married
April 11, 1953; four daughters, Rita Haldeman and Catherine B. Wetzell, both of Chambersburg, Mickey Rihl of Quakertown, Pa., and Lorri Candri of Cincinnati; three sisters, Catherine Linder of West Chester, Pa., Rita Reynolds of Charleston, W.Va., and Beatrice Lees of Philadelphia; a brother, George Davis of Willow Grove, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at noon at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley, Orrtanna, with the Rev. Carl J. Steffen as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Orrtanna.
There will be no viewing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass.
The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Chester M. Reynolds
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chester M. Reynolds, 91, a resident of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of 308 Commerce St., Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, April 16, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Aug. 10, 1907, in Ringgold, he was the son of the late Charles O. and Olevia Kate Meyers Reynolds.
He attended Waynesboro schools.
He was employed by American Store Co., Waynesboro. He was the manager of A&P Store and later the owner of his own grocery store, both in Waynesboro. In 1936, he was employed by Potomac Edison Co., Waynesboro, where he served as a bill collector, meter reader and assistant storekeeper. Prior to retiring in 1970 with 34 years of service, he was an engineering assistant.
From 1930 to 1934, he served in the 104th Pennsylvania National Guard Cavalry, Troop F, where he was a cook.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Waynesboro.
He was a member of Potomac Edison Quarter Century Club and Rouzerville Hunt Club, where he served as a camp cook for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruth Gilbert Reynolds; a son, Robert G. Reynolds of Waynesboro; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Funk; and two brothers, Edgar A. Reynolds and Raymond A. Reynolds.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Jay E. Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Monday one hour before the services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Doris I. Winsor
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Doris I. Hospital.
Born June 16, 1937, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Carman Brown Smith.
She was a graduate of Smithsburg High School.
Earlier in life, she had worked as a telephone operator. She most recently worked for Classic Foods of Hagerstown, which provided food service to the cafeteria at Corning Glass of Greencastle.
She was a member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ of Cavetown.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James W. "Bill" Winsor; two sons, William Edward Winsor of Greencastle and James Allen Winsor of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Peggy Harbaugh of Cascade, and Patsy Mickley and Roberta Minnich, both of Waynesboro; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane E. Winsor Witmer; and a sister, Jackie Kendall.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Ronald Kauffman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Paul R. Swisher
ORBISONIA, Pa. - Paul Raymond Swisher, 78, of Orbisonia, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, Pa.
Born Sept. 16, 1920, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late George and Mary Genevieve Starner Swisher.
He attended Washington Township and Greencastle schools.
He was a carpenter and cabinetmaker.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Infantry in the European Theater, where he received the Bronze Star.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
He was a member of VFW Post 5754, Mount Union, Pa.; and Blue Juniata Veterans Home Association.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Vogh of Hagerstown; two nieces, and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Grace Hoover; and five brothers, George Francis Swisher, Glenn Thomas Swisher, Harry Oliver Swisher, Harold Joseph Swisher and John Robert Swisher.
Military memorial services and burial will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. Father Tom Hemler will officiate.
