Born July 19, 1993, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of David L. and Jennifer Parks Helm of Chambersburg.
She attended Shady Pine Mennonite Church in Willow Hill, Pa., and the Sunday school class.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, David L. Helm II, at home; maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Neuder Parks of Doylesburg, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Vonnie Hockenberry Helm of Fannettsburg, Pa.; paternal great-grandmothers, Gladys Holtry Neidigh of Shippensburg, Pa., and Elsie Hockenberry of Chambersburg; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Shady Pine Mennonite Church in Willow Hill. The Revs. Marlin A. Neil and Samuel B. Sollenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg, and at the church at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorial donations may be made to The Four Diamonds Fund c/o Hershey Medical Center, 500 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.
Catherine C. Thomas
QUINCY, Pa. - Catherine C. Thomas, 78, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 514 E. Madison St., Greencastle, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Aug. 8, 1920, near Taneytown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry Jacob and Mary Helen Fringer Crouse.
Her husband, the Rev. Robert E. Thomas, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1965.
She was a 1937 graduate of Taneytown High School.
She was employed by Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, Pa., for more than 30 years, as an accounting clerk.
She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1962, where her husband served as pastor; Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Senior Church Choir, and Thomas Bible Sunday School Class.
She was a member of Greencastle-Antrim Women's Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda M. Redmon of Bloomington, Ill.; one son, Barry R. Thomas of Greencastle, Pa.; a foster sister, Mary Mercer of Frederick, Md.; a foster brother, Oliver Parrish of Taneytown; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Zimmerman and Mary Myers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greencastle. The Revs. Perry Hanson and John L. Rauch will officiate.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Taneytown. The Rev. Donald M. Bohn will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
She requested the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St., Greencastle, PA 17225.

Robert V. Cox
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Robert V. Born March 28, 1927, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Francis A. and Blanche R. Sanders Cox.
He was a 1945 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He was employed by The Public Opinion in Chambersburg, and The Record Herald in Waynesboro, Pa., retiring in 1989.
In 1967 he was awarded the Pulitizer Prize in Journalism. He also published two books "Deadly Pursuit" and "Missing Person."
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha Riff Cox; five daughters, Michele Reed, Linda Jones and Kathleen Statler, all of Chambersburg, Christine Miller of Philadelphia, Pa., and Julia R. Plank of Orrtanna, Pa.; one son, Robert M. Cox of Waynesboro; four sisters, Helen Weaver and Delores Hawk, both of Chambersburg, Miriam Sollenberger of Nashua, N.H., and Sandra Burkhart of Robesonia, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Peggy Jones will officiate.

He is survived by one daughter, Joanne Simpson of Camp Hill, Pa.; two sons, Harold P. Rosenberry of Chambersburg and Joseph David Rosenberry of Houston; one brother, retired Lt.Col. Wayne Rosenberry of Newville, Pa.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Daniel R. Lawler will officiate. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Chambersburg.
Richard L. Marshall

He was a member of Burt J. Asper American Legion Post 46 and Hume, McNeal, Byers Post 224 AMVETS, both of Chambersburg.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Karen Franklin Marshall, whom he married
in 1968; one daughter, Sandra Marshall of Chambersburg; one son, Richard L. Marshall Jr. of Woodbridge, N.J.; one sister, Donna Kupetz of Spangler; four brothers, David Marshall of Wilmington, Del., Edward Marshall, Dennis Marshall and Timothy Spangler, all of Spangler; and nieces and nephews.

Military graveside services will be conducted by Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
