Born Oct. 16, 1915, in Anne Arundel County, near Glen Burnie, Md., he was the son of the late Dennis and Elsie Magersupp Griffith.

He graduated from high school in Anne Arundel County.
He was employed at various jobs after his military service. Prior to retiring in the mid 1970s, he owned and operated an industrial maintenance business that sold business supplies.
He served in the Army during World War II in the European Theater.
He was a member of Waynesboro Bible Church.
He was a member of VFW and national A.A.R.P.
He is survived by his second wife, Alta N. Nelson Dorn Griffith; one daughter, Drucilla A. Bauer of Glen Burnie; one stepson, Ronald L. Dorn of Felton, Pa., and two grandchildren. He was the last member of his immediate family.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Maurice Griffith and Robert Griffith.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Waynesboro Bible Church, Waynesboro Bible Church.. The Rev. Robert Fitz will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
Graveside services will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Glen Burnie on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Herbert Ruby will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waynesboro Bible Church, Waynesboro, PA 17268 or Benevolent Care Fund, P.O. Box 217, Quincy, PA 17247.
Paul M. Haley, Jr.
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Paul M. Haley Jr., 78, of 138 S. Broad St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born March 4, 1921, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Paul M., Sr. and Elsie M. Creager Snowberger Haley.
He was a 1940 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
Prior to the military he was employed at Landis Machine Co., Waynesboro, and following his discharge from the Army he worked and was trained in the engineering department of Frick Co., Waynesboro. He then worked with his father in the plastering trade and later become self-employed in that profession. He worked in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas. Prior to retiring in 1985, he taught the plastering trade at Job Corps in Harpers Ferry, W.Va., for 15 years.
He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Waynesboro.
He was a member of Acacia Lodge 586 Free and Accepted Masons, Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 and the North Chapter 739 A.A.R.P., all of Waynesboro, and the National A.A.R.P.
He is survived by his wife of more than 53 years, Mary Jane Stoops Haley; one sister, Dessie A. Sheffler of Waynesboro; one half-sister, Carmen M. Settles of Greencastle, Pa.; two half-brothers, H. Max Snowberger and Donald Joseph Snowberger, both of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Jay E. Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 6 W. Second St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Delilah J. Gosnell

Born April 14, 1904, in Mapleville, Md., she was the daughter of the late James and Rose Nunemaker Keadle.
She was a homemaker.
She was the oldest surviving member of Linglestown United Methodist Church, Linglestown, Pa., where she was a member of the Salt and Pepper Club.
She was a member of AARP and a charter member of Linglestown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed crocheting and making afghans.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet G. Cassel of Duncannon, Pa., and Jean C. Peeples of Harrisburg; a son, James R. Gosnell of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hoover Funeral Home, Harrisburg. The Rev. Dean Kinch will officiate. Burial will be in Shoops Cemetery, Harrisburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday one hour before the services at the funeral home.

Margaret J. Gregory

Born Sept. 2, 1913, in Plymouth, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Phillip C. and Margaret E. Yale Jones.

She was a homemaker. Prior to her marriage, she was assistant to the president of Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston, Pa.
She was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring in Chambersburg, and Women's Association and Mary and Joseph Bible Circle of the church.
She delivered Meals on Wheels in the Chambersburg area for 20 years. She was a member of Falling Spring Chapter 2840 AARP in Chambersburg.
She is survived by a son, Bruce Gregory, at home.
She was preceded in death by a son, Malcolm Gregory; two sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring, 221 N. Main St., Chambersburg. The Revs. William H. Harter and Linda Harter will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg.

J. Edwin Cornelius

Born Sept. 20, 1913, in Saltillo, Pa., he was the son of the late Beaver and Alma Green Cornelius.
He and his wife owned and operated grocery stores in Cassville, Pa., Three Springs, Pa., Fort Loudon and McConnellsburg, Pa., and four furniture stores in Hancock, Pa., McConnellsburg and Mercersburg, Pa., and one from their home.
He had a barn storm baseball team called "Nellie Fox All Stars." He was a scout for the Kansas City baseball team in its first two years in the American League.
He was active in the McConnellsburg and Mercersburg Chamber of Commerce and served one term as president of the Mercersburg Chamber. He was active in having back roads rebuilt.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Smith Cornelius, whom he married
Oct. 5, 1933; two daughters, Elsie White of McConnellsburg and Dorothy Seiden of Miami; a sister, Nancy Starr of Saltillo; a brother, Wilford Cornelius of Saltillo; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, including Terrie Mumma, whom he raised; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Pa. The Revs. David Ford and Joseph Orr will officiate. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
