Born Sept. 6, 1912 in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Peter and Zelda Laidig Mellott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Weicht, in 1991.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Zelda A. Koup of Oberlin, Pa.; one son, Robert C. Weicht of Camp Hill, Pa.; one brother, Byron Mellott of Lawnton, Pa.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hilda True and Donna Jones.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg. The Rev. George Clippinger will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Methodist Cemetery, Hustontown, Pa.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sylvia P. Butz

Born March 22, 1917, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha Bell Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Butz, in 1988.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Dugan of Charlottesville, Va., Anita Elliott of Vancouver, Wash., and Joan Sanders of Fairfield, Pa.; one sister, Mary Walterick, of Chambersburg; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The Rev. Luis Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, where the rossary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

Harold G. Schuchman
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Harold G. Born June 19, 1920, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Ray E. and Bertha Gsell Schuchman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arietta A. "Sinney" Lesher Schuchman, in 1987.
He retired in 1962 from L.E.A.D. after 24 years.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he served in World War II.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy L. Kelso of Chambersburg and Edith Watson of Kingston, N.C.; four sons, Dennis R. Schuchman of Boonsboro, Michael A. Schuchman of Dry Run, Pa., Charles E. Schuchman and Steven L. Schuchman, both of Chambersburg; two sisters, Martha Umbrell and Bertha Umbrell, both of Chambersburg; four brothers, Robert Schuchman and Albert Schuchman, both of Chambersburg, William Schuchman of Greencastle, Pa., and Charles Schuchman of St. Thomas, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harold G. Schuchman Jr.; a brother, Clarence Schuchman, and a grandson, Denton Michael George.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Dwight Huseman will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, with military honors by Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 V.F.W. Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Webster W. Snyder Sr.
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Webster W. Born May 22, 1916, in Little Cove, Pa., he was the son of the late Thornton and Ida Hull Snyder.
He retired in 1981 from Letterkenny Army Depot after 32 years. He was a former employee of Lowengart Company of Mercersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Cecil E. Custer Snyder, whom he married
in 1939; five daughters, Edith Shipp and Lillian Snyder, both of Mercersburg, Peggy Snyder of Chambersburg, Betty Snyder of Selingsgrove, Pa., and Lucille Souders of Hagerstown; four sons, Roger Snyder of Hagerstown, Edward Snyder and Glenn Snyder, both of Mercersburg, and Webster W. Snyder Jr. of Fort Loudon, Pa.; one sister, Mae Bishop of Mercersburg; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children; one sister, and one brother.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Mercersburg. The Rev. Robert Timmons will officiate. Burial will be in Welsh Run Brethren Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Miley, in 1994.
She was a homemaker; and did domestic work for others.
She was a member of Pond Bank Mennonite Church, Chambersburg.
She is survived by a nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pond Bank Mennonite Church, 6555 Duffield Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Menno B. Sollenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
Mary V. Strausner

Born Sept. 5, 1914, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Jacob C. and Elsie H. Baker Smetzer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilson L. Strausner, in 1995. They were married
in 1949.
She retired from Carroll Shoe Factory in Mont Alto, Pa., in 1977 as a machine operator. She then worked part time at the shoe factory.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Mont Alto, and Friendly Corner Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one son, Allen L. Strausner of Waynesboro; two sisters, Catherine Verdier of Mont Alto and Helen F. Wadel of Waynesboro; two brothers, Ralph J. Smetzer and Paul W. Smetzer, both of Waynesboro; two stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice L. Smetzer and Blanche E. Smetzer; and one brother, George I. Smetzer.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. David L. Deatrich will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
