Born May 2, 1953, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of Robert E. Shatzer and Marilyn Beightol Shatzer, both of Edenville, Pa.
He was a 1972 graduate of James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, Pa.
He retired in 1998 from Pet Ritz in Chambersburg, after 26 years.
He attended Edenville United Methodist Church, Edenville.
He was a member of Sons of American Legion, Detrich-Brechbill Post 612, St. Thomas, Pa., and ABATE of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Staci Tolbert Shatzer, whom he married
in 1990; two sons, Gage D. Shatzer and Garrett W. Shatzer, both at home; two daughters, Neali R. Shatzer at home, and Jenny Mellott of Emigsville, Pa.; one brother, Kevin D. Shatzer of Reno, Nev.; one sister, Crystal R. Gottfried of Edenville; maternal grandmother, Marian Beightol of Knoxville, Tenn.; and one grandson.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. John F. Rauhut will officiate. Burial will be in Brechbill Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Wayne E. Snyder

Born Sept. 8, 1939, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of Agnes Walker Snyder of McConnellsburg and the late Harry E. Snyder.
He was employed in the parts department of Thomas Chevrolet, McConnellsburg. He previously worked at B and B Exxon, Breezewood, Pa., and then as manager and owner of Snyder's Exxon, which he operated until his retirement in 1997.
He was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Thomas Snyder, whom he married
in 1957; two daughters, Janice Shupp of Middletown, Pa., and Lisa Keebaugh of Hustontown; a son, Randy Snyder of Waterfall, Pa.; a sister, Wilma Bivens of McConnellsburg; a brother, Dean Snyder of McConnellsburg; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery, Wells Tannery, Pa. The Rev. David Arnold will officiate.
A memorial service will follow Thursday at 7 p.m. at Wells Valley United Methodist Church.
Memorial donations may be made to Forbes Road Little League, c/o Randy Snyder, president, 3543 Blacks Mountain Road, Waterfall, PA 16689; or to Forbes Road Auditorium Fund, Forbes Road High School, Waterfall, PA 16689.

Charles E. Keefer

Born Jan. 14, 1960, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of Paul W. Sr. and M. Louise Wilson Keefer of Mercersburg.
He was last employed by JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mary Chilcote Keefer of Waynesboro; two daughters, Lori Keefer and Lisa Keefer, both of Waynesboro; two sisters, Nancy Buterbaugh and Linda Deshong, both of Mercersburg; two brothers, Paul W. Keefer Jr. of Mercersburg, and Richard Keefer of Fort Loudon, Pa.; and paternal grandfather, Earl Keefer of Greencastle, Pa.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg. The Rev. Roy E. Brake Sr. will officiate. Private burial will be in Welsh Run Brethren Cemetery, Welsh Run, Pa.
There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Ned B. Hoagland
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ned B. Hoagland, 70, of 445 Hamilton Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 29, 1928, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Ned B. and Eliza E. Wood Hoagland.
He was employed by Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church in Chambersburg, and the Burton Men's Bible Class.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II and Korea.
He was a member of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW in Chambersburg; National Association of Retired Federal Employees 1063 in Chambersburg; Thursday night bowling league at Nellie Fox Bowl in Chambersburg; and Letterkenny Golf Club in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Ella May Jacobs Hoagland, whom he married
May 25, 1952; two sisters, Charlotte Allen of Springfield, Ohio, and Jackie Litteral of Kissimmee, Fla.; two brothers, Petit Hoagland of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Samuel Hoagland of California; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg, with military services by Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
Visitation will be at the funeral home at noon Thursday.

Carl E. Cutchall

Born March 8, 1928, in Laidig, Pa., he was the son of the late Berlyn E. and Maye Huston Cutchall.
He had operated a service station and restaurant in Hustontown and a service station in Burnt Cabins, Pa. He also sold used cars and had worked at Miller's Garage in Hustontown. He opened Cutchall's Gulf, later Cutchall's Amoco, in Fort Littleton. He and his wife established The Fort Family Restaurant in Fort Littleton, Pa.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He was a member of Mount Zion Lodge 774 Free and Accepted Masons, McConnellsburg; Altoona Consistory; Fathers and Sons Inc.; and Hunting Club, Montana.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Miller Cutchall, whom he married
Dec. 24, 1945; five children, Connie Spangler of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Jan Hoover and Richard Cutchall, both of McConnellsburg, Craig Cutchall of Harrisonville, Pa., and Brown Cutchall of Hustontown; a sister, Lois Foreman of McConnellsburg; a brother, James Robert Cutchall of Hustontown; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. Pastor David Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in Hustontown Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Mount Zion Lodge will conduct a Masonic memorial service Thursday at 8:45 p.m.

She is survived by a daughter, Duella Kerlin of Mont Alto; two sons, Russel C. Metz of York, Pa., and Ronald F. Metz of Rockford, Ohio; a brother, Orvis Snook of Mount Union, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Chaplain Charles L. McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy, Pa.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
