Born June 4, 1931, in Needmore, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel Mellott Cromwell.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren in Needmore.
She is survived by her husband, William C. Burkett, whom she married
April 5, 1951; a son, Thomas Walker Burkett of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a brother, Billie Cromwell of Needmore.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home, in Harrisonville, Pa. The Rev. Roger Truax will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren in Needmore.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Madaline B. Mellott
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Madaline B. Mellott, 81, of Caledonia Manor, and formerly of Harrisonville, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at Calendonia Manor.
Born June 19, 1917, in Harrisonville, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Elsie R. DeShong.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Mellott, in 1968.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Harrisonville.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie J. Clark of Chambersburg, Pa.; a son, James W. Mellott of Harrisonville; two sisters, Blanche DeShong and Bernadine Brant, both of McConnellsburg, Pa.; a brother, Mart DeShong of Harrisonville; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home, Harrisonville. Pastor Donald Bard will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dennis K. Buchanan

Born Jan. 31, 1953, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Betty L. Neady Buchanan of Williamson, Pa. and the late Valance Martin Buchanan.
He attended school in the Tuscarora School District.
He had worked at T.B. Woods in Chambersburg; and then at Ventura Foods in Chambersburg.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a former member of U.A.W.
He is survived by his wife, Debra D. Cook Buchanan, whom he married
April 5, 1996; three sons, Jeremy A. Buchanan of Greencastle, Pa., Dennis V.N. Buchanan and Clinton E. Buchanan, both of Waynesboro; a stepson, Edward H. College Jr. of Chambersburg; two sisters, Deborah L. Ridge of St. Thomas, Pa., and Kathy A. Buchanan of Chambersburg; a brother, Larry M. Buchanan of Williamson; a grandson; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. George Mouer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Church Cemetery near Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201; or Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Mary F. Angulo

Born Dec. 8, 1905, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Jules and Phoebe McCoy Frings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand J. Angulo, in 1956.
She worked at Wistar Institute and Frings Brothers, both in Philadelphia; and at Barnes Foundation in Merion, Pa.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy A. Hamaker of Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Dr. Armand J. Angulo of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Chapel of Menno Haven. Chaplain Samuel J. Troyer will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, 225 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Richard L. Wile
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Richard L. "Dick" Wile, 71, of 1 Lincoln Drive, Fayetteville, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at his home.
Born July 28, 1927, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Hazel Marie Wile.
He was a 1945 graduate of Quincy High School. He attended LaSalle Extension University and received an associate degree in management.
He was first deputy Clerk of Court for Franklin County. He served four elected terms as Clerk of Courts for Franklin County Courts.
He operated Caledonia Golf Course Inc. and was golf director at Monterey Golf Course, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.
He served in the Waynesboro National Guard.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Fayetteville, was a trustee and treasurer of the Building Fund for the new church.
He was on the Guilford Township Water Authority board of directors; was a member of George Washington Lodge 143 F&AM, George Washington Royal Arch Chapter 176, and Continental Commandary 56, all of Chambersburg. He was a member of Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; Valley Forest 145 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Shippensburg; Waynesboro Shrine Club; Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Company; Chambersburg Club; B.P.O. Elks Lodge 600, and Chambersburg Junior Fire Company, all of Chambersburg; Golf Course Superintendent Association of America, PA Turf and Grass Council, Central PA Golf Course Superintendents, and National A.A.R.P.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy J. Sollenberger Wile; one daughter, Kay Marie Yaukey of Benderville, Pa.; and two grandsons, Timothy Yaukey and Brenton Yaukey.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Calvary United Methodist Church, Fayetteville. The Rev. Richard B. Cartwright will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends on Thursday two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Drive, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
