CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Florence Hutton Morris, 84, of Menno Village, and formerly of 557 S. Fourth St., Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born June 23, 1914, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Stitely Hutton.
Her husband, Kenneth E. Morris, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1980.
She graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1932 and from Shippensburg Normal School in 1934.
Early in life she taught at Stevens Elementary School, and later served as bookkeeper at Dunkinsons Flowers for many years.
She was a member of Chambersburg Bible Church.
She was a member of AARP and Golden Age Club, and member and secretary of Chambersburg Chapter of United Ostomy Association.
She is survived by her son, Robert Morris of Chambersburg; a granddaughter; two stepgranddaughters; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Edwin E. Morris.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. David Kraft will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coyle Free Library, 102 N. Main St., Chambersburg, PA 17201; Chambersburg Chapter of the United Ostomy Association, P.O. Box 1048, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to the charity of one's choice.
James R. Paisley
HOLLY HILL, Fla. - James Robert Paisley, 71, of 540 Burleigh Ave., and formerly of 371 Roland Ave., Chambersburg, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Williamsburg Community Hospital, Williamsburg, Va.
Born April 29, 1927, in Allison, Pa., he was the son of the late James W. and Hazel Slagle Paisley.
His first wife, June L. Walker Paisley, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1996.
He graduated from high school in 1945 and received an associate's degree in radiology from Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y.
Early in his life, he was employed in radiology. Later, he was a self-employed businessman. He retired in 1995.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of South Daytona, Fla.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. He had a great interest in World War II airplanes.
He is survived by his second wife, Vala Dunkin Paisley; six daughters, Sharon L. Parker and Susanne L. Paisley, both of Holly Hill, Carol L. Royds of Williamsburg, Va., Christine A. Knouse of Chambersburg, Pa., Joanne M. Rodes of Jasper, Ind., and Michelle J. Paisley of San Diego; three sons, James G. Paisley of Nescopeck, Pa., Gerald R. Paisley of Orrstown, Pa., and Robert W. Paisley of Chambersburg; a sister, Betty Beal of La Puente, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring Chapel, 221 N. Main St., Chambersburg. The Rev. Joseph Quaresimo will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pa.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.

Anna M. Gerhold

Born July 27, 1925, in Mount Rock, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harvey M. and Mabel Shriver Gerhold Sr.
She was a homemaker.
She worked in the dietary department of Chambersburg Hospital for 21 years, retiring in 1989.
She is survived by her commonlaw husband of 54 years, H. Douglas Kling; two daughters, Paula A. Fisher of Chambersburg, Pa. and Carol J. Caldwell of Salisbury, Md.; a sister, Gloria Sollenberger of Chambersburg; two brothers, Walter Gerhold of Chambersburg and Frank Gerhold of Waynesboro, Pa.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey M. Gerhold Jr.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Aletha L. Painter will officiate.
There will be no public viewing.
Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association Franklin/Fulton Division, 225 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, American Association of Retired Person 2287, Chambersburg, Chambersburg Senior Center, Golden Age Club, Chambersburg, and former Brownie Troop Leader at Zion Reformed Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Sally Ziegler of Fox Point, Wisc.; one son, John C. Funk of Chambersburg; one sister, Mary C. Funk of Chambersburg; one brother, James P. Crouse of Harrisburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Crouse.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Jeffrey R. Diller will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Members of Martha Custis Chapter 342 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services this evening at 8.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Reformed Church, 259 South Main Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
