Born April 2, 1921, in Red Rock, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Goldie E. Seburn Moats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Younker, in 1981.
She retired in 1985 from Park-N-Dine Restaurant in Hancock, where she was a cook for 19 years.
She was a Protestant.
She is survived by four daughters, Marcella P. Hammond of Middletown, Va., Donna J. Snowberger of Waynesboro, Pa., Nora L. Fleece of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and Carolyn L. Armell of Marion, with whom she lived; three sons, Arnold L. Younker of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., Marlin L. Younker of Hancock and Sheldon K. Younker of Berkeley Springs; two sisters, Della Seiders of Mercersburg and Dorothy Seiders of McConnellsburg, Pa.; a brother, Melvin Moats of Needmore, Pa.; 19 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clifton R. Younker; a sister, Ruth Foreman; and three brothers, Floyd Moats, Clyde Moats and Willis Moats.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren, Hollow Road, Hancock. The Rev. Phyllis Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock; and Monday at noon at the church. The funeral home will be open Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m.
Mae E. Wiles
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Mae E. Wiles, 76, of 937 Sunset Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg, Pa.
Born May 18, 1922, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late James Preston and Gertie McCoy Emory Strausbaugh.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Upton J. Brown, in 1972. They were married
Oct. 20, 1945. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Robert E. Wiles, in 1989. They were married
Oct. 28, 1984.
She was a 1940 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
She was employed as a secretary in the Sales Department of Landis Tool Co., Waynesboro; and later as a machinist in the Tool and Cutter Department of Landis Machine Co., Waynesboro. She then was a secretary to attorney N. F. Keller; secretary and legal assistant to attorney Roy S. F. Angle; and secretary at the law offices of Beck, Patterson, Kaminski, Keller and Kiersz, Waynesboro, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Waynesboro, and sang in the choir.
She is survived by a niece, Bobbi K. Trostle of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; two great-nieces; and a great-great-nephew.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Stephen D. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church Organ Fund, 112 E. Second St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mary H. Small, 69, of 468 W. Washington St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born July 5, 1929, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel Wise Galbraith.
She was a graduate of Chambersburg High School.
She was last employed as a cook at Travel Lodge in Chambersburg. She previously had been employed by H. J. Heinz Co., Chambersburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda A. Clark of Chambersburg and Donna K. Groves of Topeka, Kan.; two sons, Edgar P. Small Jr. of Fairfax, Va., and Ronald L. Small of Chambersburg; a half sister, Laura Burns of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; 12 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry E. Small; and a granddaughter, a sister and two brothers.
Services and burial will be private. The Rev. George R. Pogue Sr. will officiate.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mark Eldon Fisher, 28, of Bogota, Colombia, and formerly of Nyesville Road, Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, of injuries sustained in a traffic accident on the outskirts of Santafe de Bogata.
Born Aug. 24, 1970, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Jack E. and Faye L. Cook Fisher.
He was a 1988 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. In 1994, he received a bachelor of science degree in Religious Studies. He received a master's degree in English as a second language from West Virginia University, Morgantown, in 1997.
He was the director of the Foreign Language Department of Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administracion, Bogota. He previously taught English as a second language at that school.
He was a member of Mount Pleasant United Brethren Church in Chambersburg, and was active with the Bible Quiz Team and the Youth Group.
He had been a member of Chambersburg Area Senior High School Golf Team, Cross Country Team and Tennis Team. He was a member of Choristers, Esquires and Glee Club. He had been treasurer of his senior class; and a member of J. Frank Faust Band, Chambersburg, and the Chambersburg Area Senior High School Band. During high school, he was active with Young Life in South Central Pennsylvania, Chambersburg. He had played Little League and Pony League. While in high school, he had his own band, "October." While in college, he was the lead singer for his band, "Tooling for Bovines." He was editor of The Daily Athenaeum, the West Virginia University newspaper.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Wendy S. Stevens; a niece, Abigail Stevens; a nephew, Jonah Stevens, all of Chambersburg; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant United Brethren Church, 2509 Black Gap Road, Chambersburg. The Revs. Ronald L. Cook and Christopher T. Little will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg; and Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. before the services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Irvin Hallowell Jones, in 1947; and her second husband, Rowland Austin, in 1982.
She was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School.
She was a homemaker. She had been employed at Walker's Drug Store on the Square.
She had been a member of Central Presbyterian Church, serving as the first woman elder, and taught Sunday school.
She was a member of Womens Association; Semper Fidelis Class; and Lydia Circle. She volunteered at Chambersburg Hospital, was a member of the hospital auxiliary, served two terms as president and held other offices.
She was a member and treasurer of Chambersburg Council of United Church Women; volunteered with Meals-on-Wheels; and did volunteer work in the Menno Haven gift shop.
She is survived by a daughter, F. Lucille Stence of Chambersburg; a brother, Guy Moler of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Central Presbyterian Church. The Revs. C. Edward Morgan and William J. Murphey will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg; and Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
