Born Aug. 26, 1927, in Greencastle, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul M. and Alice Spangler Barnes.
He was a 1945 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He was retired from A&P Store, Gettysburg, Pa., and Shippensburg, Pa., as a manager for 33 years. He was then employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken, Shippensburg, and Chambersburg as manager.
He served with the Army during World War II.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Chambersburg.
He was a member of BPO Elks 600 for 25 years; Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW; and Landis McCleaf Detachment Marine Corps League, all of Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Thompson Barnes; one sister, Betty A. Barnes of Chambersburg; and one brother, Harold L. Barnes of Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Donald C. Nolder will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anna M. Wise
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Anna M. Born Dec. 6, 1908, in Shady Grove, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Daniel B. and Mary C. Maun Helm.

She is survived by one sister, Ethel G. Helm, of Chambersburg and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Alan R. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

C. Glenn Hoffman
QUINCY, Pa. - C. Born Feb. 24, 1914, near Greencastle, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Dietrich Hoffman.

He retired in 1963 after many years as a dairy farmer. He then worked for E.C. Barnes & Son, of St. Thomas, Pa., as a salesman.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Mercersburg, where he served on the board.
He was a member of Mercersburg Lions Club and the Pennsylvania Farmers Association.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan H. Rubeck of Gaithersburg, Md.; one son, James G. Hoffman of Sherwood, Mich.; one sister, Mae Elliott of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ. The Rev. Milton W. Benny Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Avenue, Mercersburg, and at the church one hour prior to the funeral services.

Martha D. Rovelli

Born Sept. 20, 1947, in Charles Town, she was the daughter of Stephen Shugart and Ruth Pope Dalgarn Jr. of Charles Town.
She was a registered nurse at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, Pa.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She was a 1964 graduate of Charles Town High School; and a graduate of Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing, Harrisburg, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Louis Rovelli; two daughters, Lynn Rovelli and Lisa Rovelli, both at home; and a brother, David Dalgarn of Saginaw, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Samuel "Sam" Dalgarn III, on Jan. 16, 1998.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Dee-Ann Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
There will be no visitation.
Donald L. Brosmer
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Retired Lieutenant Colonel Donald L. Brosmer, 65, of 417 Fairview Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999.
Born Sept. 21, 1933, in Dubois, Ind., he was the son of the late Edward and Esther Wehr Brosmer.
He graduated from Long Island University, Long Island, N.Y. with a master's degree in Psychology.
He served with the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church, Waynesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Reierson Anderson of Waynesboro; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Guajardo of Denver; a stepson, Paul Anderson of Chambersburg; and a sister, Norma Wigand of Jasper, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Brosmer, in 1996.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at the convenience of the family at Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church, Waynesboro. Father Thomas J. Hemler will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Waynesboro.
There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 12 N. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
I. Lucille Grimes
QUINCY, Pa. - I. Born March 28, 1920, in Lanark, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Theophilus and Hanna M. Noll Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Grimes, in 1986.
She attended Waynesboro area schools.
Prior to retirement in 1980, she was supervisor of the dietary department at South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain, Pa. She also worked at J.J. Newberry Co. in Waynesboro and was head waitress at Anthony Wayne Hotel from 1957 to 1967.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waynesboro and Cheerful Givers Sunday School Class. She was an active member of the former First Christian Church of Waynesboro.
She was a member of national AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor M. Harris of Fort Loudon, Pa., and Margaret E. "Peg" Biesecker of Waynesboro; three sisters, Ethel Deal and Rosa Deal, both of Havre de Grace, Md. and Delores Enders of Harrisburg, Pa.; six brothers, Fred Coleman of Havre de Grace, Theophilus Coleman of Washington, N.J., Ronald Coleman of Lancaster, Pa., Bernard Coleman of Churchville, Md., Richard Coleman of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., and Frank Coleman of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Evelyn Grimes; and a brother, Maynard Coleman.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Lynn D. Trutt and Chaplain Carolyn C. Belenski will officiate. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville, Pa.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
