SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Nolan D. Lauver, 2, of 8777 Molly Pitcher Highway, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital of injuries suffered at his family's farm.
Born June 15, 1996, in Southampton Township, Franklin County, Pa., he was the son of Jason M. and Edith I. Weaver Lauver.
He attended Antrim Mennonite Church, Greencastle.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four sisters, Mary Ellen, Joyce L., Esther L. and Janelle R., all at home; four brothers, Marcus J., Arlin J., Linford N. and Matthew L., all at home; maternal grandparents, Chester C. and Esther E. Weaver of Carlisle, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Henry H. and Emma A. Lauver of Ephrata, Pa.; maternal great-grandfather, Samuel R. Weaver of Carlisle; aunts and uncles.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Antrim Mennonite Church, Greencastle. Isaac K. Sensenig, H. Lynn Martin, Mark E. Rosenberry and Robert L. Shank will officiate. Burial will be in Antrim Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Arrangements are by Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg.
Annie M. West
QUINCY, Pa. - Annie Mae Miller West, 88, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home and formerly of 217 Barnett Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born April 19, 1910, in Zullinger, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mollie Good Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David West, in 1991. They were married
Nov. 30, 1939.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, where she was a member of Cheerful Givers Sunday School Class.
She was a member of Franklin County Farm Women Group; United Methodist Women; South Chapter 2977 AARP; and National AARP.
She loved working around her home and raising her family.
She is survived by three sons, Warren D. West and Fred E. West, both of Waynesboro and Kenneth R. West of Metairie, La.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Harry West, in 1942; a sister, Myrtle Miller; and two brothers, Earl Miller and Paul Miller.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Lynn D. Trutt will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Quincy.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 104 N. Potomac St., Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.
Max Blubaugh
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Max Blubaugh, 86, a resident of Manor Care Health Services and formerly of 8036 Mentzer Gap Road, Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born Nov. 29, 1911, in Tomstown, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles Fold and Elizabeth Cole Blubaugh.
He attended Tomstown School.
In his early life, he worked with the family business - Blubaugh's Meat Market in Tomstown. Prior to retiring in 1974, he worked at Landis Tool Co., Waynesboro, for 37 years.
He enjoyed gardening and working outside.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Koons Blubaugh, whom he married
Feb. 5, 1960; a daughter, Mary Jane Blubaugh Snyder of Waynesboro; two sons, Max Robert Blubaugh of Waynesboro and Donald Alan Blubaugh of Walnut Creek, Calif.; two sisters, Hazel Stoops of Waynesboro and Janet Holtz of Wynnewood, Pa.; two brothers, Charles Blubaugh of Waynesboro and Warren Blubaugh of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Bonner; and seven brothers, Walter Blubaugh, Ralph Blubaugh, Benard Blubaugh, Lester Blubaugh, Kenneth Blubaugh, Robert Blubaugh and Lee Roy Blubaugh.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Johne F. Minnich
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Johne F. Minnich, 64, of 3564 West Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, at his home.
Born Aug. 30, 1934, in Antrim Township, Pa., he was the son of the late David F. and Emma E. Goetz Minnich.
He was a 1953 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. Later, he worked at Letterkenny Army Depot, retiring after 20 years of employment.
He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church of Greencastle.
He was a life member and from 1981 to 1982 was past commander of Harry D. Zeigler V.F.W. Post 6319 of Greencastle; member and past commander of Frank L. Carbaugh American Legion Post 373 of Greencastle, where he also served as the service officer. He was a fourth degree member of Chambersburg Knights of Columbus; and a member of Sargents Association 40/8 509A La Societe 40H of Chambersburg, Pa.
He was currently serving on the Greencastle-Antrim School Board. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, having served two tours of duty, and was a member of Veterans of the Vietnam War PA. 41 of Chambersburg. He received the Four Chaplains Award. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
He was active in various community service organizations, including umpiring for more than 20 years in the Greencastle Little League and Greencastle Pony League.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty L. Thomas Minnich; three daughters, Cheri V. Downin and Michelle D. Minnich, both of Greencastle and Maria D. Wagner of Chambersburg; a son, David F. Minnich of Centreville, Va.; a brother, Thomas Minnich of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister; and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 385 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle. The Rev. Joseph L. Stahura will be celebrant. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, with military honors conducted by members of Chambersburg V.F.W. Post 1599 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.; and Greencastle V.F.W. will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
Ronald L. Haugh

Born Nov. 14, 1934, in Waynesboro, he was the son of Helen L. Stouffer Haugh of Waynesboro, and the late Lionel E. Haugh.
He was a 1954 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He began working for The Record Herald as a child, delivering papers. He then worked as a pressman for the newspaper for 30 years, retiring on disability in 1983.
He attended Greenwood Assembly of God Church, Fayetteville, Pa.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dolores Slick Haugh, whom he married
June 28, 1958; three sisters, Joyce V. Bowman of Smithsburg, Odessa M. Statler of Greencastle, Pa., and Molisa J. Haugh of Waynesboro; three brothers, Philip E. Haugh and Clinton T. Haugh, both of Waynesboro, and Wilbur E. Haugh of Greencastle; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Douglas W. Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Glenda K. Frey Nowakowski Small; one sister, Amy I. Small of Chambersburg; one stepsister, Elizabeth Nowakowski of Chambersburg; paternal grandparents, Leon S. and Connie J. Small of Chambersburg; maternal grandparents, Richard and Joyce Stitely of Chambersburg; maternal stepgrandparents, Preston M. and Lorraine M. Frey of Fayetteville, Pa.; paternal great-grandparents, Kenneth and Thelma Agar of Chambersburg; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Burns of Chambersburg; and maternal stepgreat-grandmother, Maria Eby of Chambersburg.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Small; and a stepbrother.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First Church of God, 339 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg. The Rev. Earl E. Mills will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Franklin Learning Center PTA, 2397 Loop Road, Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.
