Born Feb. 9, 1909, in Shady Grove, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Elsie Showalter Helm.
Her husband, Charles E. "Monday" Martin, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1997. They were married
Aug. 29, 1935.
She attended school in Shady Grove.
Early in life, she was employed by Waynesboro Knitting Mill for 20 years.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rouzerville, Pa., and Augsbury-Delauter Sunday School Class and Christian Services Committee.
She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn A. Duffey of Waynesboro; one sister, Edna Helm of Waynesboro; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Louise Kershner and Corine Beaver.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor David L. Hefner will officiate. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery near Rouzerville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Drawer 240, Rouzerville, Pa. 17250-0240.
Ernest M. Woodford
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Ernest M. Woodford, 90, of 301 N. Grant St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at his home.
Born Sept. 3, 1908, in Huntington, Conn., he was the son of the late George E. and Anna Chach Woodford.

July 12, 1936.
He was employed by Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro as an engineer, retiring in 1976. He previously worked in Connecticut.
He was a member of Ringgold Church of Christ, Ringgold.
He also was a member of Ansantawae Lodge 89 AF&AM in Milford, Conn., and BPOE 731 in Waynesboro.
He is survived by one daughter, Haydee F. Middour of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lochstampfor Funeral Home, South Church and West Second streets, Waynesboro. The Rev. Donald Conley will officiate.
There will be no visitation.

Charlotte N. McCulloh

Born Sept. 4, 1925, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late James and Georgie Dugan Norris.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Hancock.
She is survived by her husband, John W. McCulloh; one daughter, Louise M. Heisey of Mercersburg; and one granddaughter, Lisa Heisey of Mercersburg.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 2 E. High St., Hancock. The Rev. F. Allen Weatherholt Jr. and Lay Associate Steven L. McCarty will officiate. Burial will be in Little Cove United Methodist Cemetery, Mercersburg.
Friends will be received 30 minutes prior to the service Thursday at the church.
Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home, Hancock.
Rowland L. Haugh
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Rowland Lee "Ronnie" Haugh, 63, of South Potomac Street, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at his home.
Born Nov. 14, 1934, in Waynesboro, he was the son of Helen L. Stouffer Haugh of Waynesboro, and the late Lionel E. Haugh.
He was a 1954 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He began working for The Record Herald as a child, delivering papers. He then worked as a pressman for the newspaper for 30 years, retiring on disability in 1983.
He attended Greenwood Assembly of God Church, Fayetteville, Pa.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dolores Slick Haugh, whom he married
June 28, 1958; three sisters, Joyce V. Bowman of Smithsburg, Odessa M. Statler of Greencastle, Pa., and Molisa J. Haugh of Waynesboro; three brothers, Philip E. Haugh and Clinton T. Haugh, both of Waynesboro, and Wilbur E. Haugh of Greencastle; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Douglas W. Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Heverline A. Dinsmore
FORT LOUDON, Pa. - Heverline A. Born May 12, 1921, in Needmore, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harold R. and Rhoda Garland Bard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter P. Dinsmore, in 1990.
She worked at Letterkenny Army Depot during World War II. She was a former employee of Knouse Foods of Chambersburg, Pa., and U-Wanna-Wash Frock Co. of Fort Loudon. She assisted her son in the operation of Milky Way Restaurant in Fort Loudon.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of Fort Loudon.
She is survived by two sons, R. Gary Dinsmore and Billy G. Dinsmore, both of Fort Loudon; four brothers, Boyd H. Bard and Wayne W. Bard, both of Fort Loudon, and Harold R. Bard Jr. and Billy A. Bard, both of Chambersburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A private service was held at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg, Pa. The Rev. John F. Rauhut officiated. Burial was in St. Thomas Cemetery, St. Thomas, Pa.

Clarence A. Stem Jr.
BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - Clarence A. "Buddy" Stem Jr., 74, of 14464 Charmain Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at his home.
Born Nov. 12, 1923, in Charmain, Pa., he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Hazel Fitz Stem Sr.
He served in the 8th Division of the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. During this time he was stationed in England. He earned several medals including: the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He worked at Fairchild Industries, Hagerstown; and at Strand Movie Theater and Arcade Movie Theater, both formerly of Waynesboro. He was last employed at the former GAF Corp., now ISP Minerals, Blue Ridge Summit, as a foreman in the shipping department for 40 years.
He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Fountaindale, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Emma C. Trout Stem, whom he married
July 12, 1967; two daughters, Wanda K. Rickett of Waynesboro and Nancy M. Creager of Blue Ridge Summit; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Stem.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Jeffery Swanger will officiate. Burial will be in Fountaindale Union Cemetery, Adams County, Pa.
The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
