Born June 12, 1928, in Dublin Mills, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ora Park Hess.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elden M. "Bob" Grissinger, in 1996. They were married
Jan. 17, 1948.
She retired in 1990 after 20 years as a cafeteria worker at Forbes Road Schools.
She was a member of Dublin Mills Community Church, Hustontown.
She was a member of Forbes Road Alumni Association Scholarship Fund Committee.
She is survived by three children, Stephen G. Grissinger of Dublin Mills, Karen L. Long of New Grenada, Pa., and Amy J. Patterson of Maddensville, Pa.; two sisters, Ruth Gladfelter of Bozeman, Mont., and Helen Souders of Dublin Mills; a brother, Sheldon Hess of Elyria, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Grissinger; and a brother.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Dublin Mills Community Church, Hustontown. Pastor Sam Stoey will officiate. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, Pa.
Friends may call today from 2 to 9 p.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown.

Born Aug. 28, 1963, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of John D. and Bertha A. Henderson Ulrich of Fayetteville, Pa.
She had attended Gettysburg High School, Gettysburg, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Sarah Seibel of Bonneauville, Pa.; a son, Jonathan Strausbaugh at home; a sister, Sheila Chrismer of Gettysburg; three brothers, David Ulrich and Jeffrey Ulrich, both of Fayetteville, and Thomas Ulrich of Gettysburg; her grandfather and stepgrandmother, Harold and Ada Beck Ulrich of Fayetteville; four nieces and four nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Douglas Baldwin and the Rev. George S. Mouer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The viewing will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home; and Thursday one hour prior to the service.
Mary Jane Miller
QUINCY, Pa. - Mary Jane Taughinbaugh Miller, 79, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 49 E. 5th St., Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998, at the home.
Born Sept. 27, 1919, in Gettysburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Nelly J. and Martha E. Snyder Taughinbaugh.
She was a 1939 graduate of Gettysburg High School; and a graduate of Rosenfield Beauty School in York, Pa.
She was employed as a beautician at Salone Beauty Shop for five years.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, and attended Ever Eager Sunday School Class.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Mount Vernon Chapter 398; AARP South Chapter 2977; and National AARP.
She is survived by her husband, John J. "Jack" Miller Jr., whom she married
Oct. 5, 1946; a daughter, Martha Angle of Waynesboro; three sons, John R. Miller of Stephen City, Va., Jeffrey L. Miller and Stephen D. Miller, both of Waynesboro; a brother, Myrl Taughinbaugh of Gettysburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by two stepbrothers, Edward Taughinbaugh and David Taughinbaugh.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor C. Albert Guyer will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Robert P. Kennedy
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Robert P. "Buddy" Kennedy, 65, of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, and formerly of 200 W. Second St., Waynesboro, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born Oct. 13, 1933, in Franklin County, Pa., he was the son of the late Walter and Pearl Kennedy.
He attended Clay Hill School and graduated from Greencastle High School in 1952.
Early in life, he worked on farms in the Greencastle area. Prior to retiring in 1994, he worked at Martin's Tire Service, Waynesboro, for 40 years.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
Private burial was in Brown's Mill Cemetery, Kauffman Station, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Benevolent Fund of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 201 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.
Louise A. Schaff

Born Aug. 10, 1915, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Henrietta M. Hovis Shorb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray V. Schaff Jr., in 1972. They were married
June 6, 1942.
She was a 1935 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
She previously had been employed at Waynesboro Knitting Mill as a machine operator.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Waynesboro; and National AARP.
She is survived by a son, Robert R. Schaff of Waynesboro; four sisters, Marie E. Marcoux and Rose A. Moore of Waynesboro, Henrietta Jones of Baltimore and Joan Brinkman of Daly City, Calif.; a brother, George V. Schorb of Monte Rio, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude E. Weidenhoft and Martha Shaffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Waynesboro. Father Thomas J. Hemler will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, on Monday one hour prior to the Mass.
Memorial donations may be made to Quincy United Methodist Home Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 128, Quincy, Pa. 17247.
