FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Roy Bowman Stoutamyer Sr., 91, a resident of Piney Mountain Continuing Care Retirement Community and formerly of 3807 Wayne Road, Chambersburg, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998 at Piney Mountain.
Born March 23, 1907, in Staunton, Va., he was the son of the late John and Nora Sheets Stoutamyer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara A. Hartman Stoutamyer, on Oct. 8, 1998.
He was a self-employed farmer in the Chambersburg area for 30 years. He was later employed by the former L.S. Cook John Deere Dealership in Chambersburg for a number of years; and retired from Blue Ridge Fruit Exchange, Waynesboro, Pa.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg, where he maintained a record of perfect attendance for 33 years. He was a member of Burton Men's Bible Class at the church.
He is survived by a daughter, Glenna L. Michael of Chambersburg; two sons, Roy B. Stoutamyer Jr. and Carroll H. Stoutamyer, both of Chambersburg; a sister, Naomi Stoutamyer of Bridgewater, Va.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two half sisters; and a half brother.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Patrick B. Jones and the Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Adeline Willis
CARLISLE, Pa. - Adeline Willis, 90, a resident of ManorCare Health Services and formerly of Newville, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at ManorCare.
Born Oct. 16, 1908, in Lemasters, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Norman and Daisy Light Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Willis, in 1988.
Earlier in her life, she worked at the former Penn Hall School and Letterkenny Army Depot, both of Chambersburg, Pa.
She was member of Ridge Church of the Brethren, where she was a member of Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a son, Fred M. Willis of Newville; a daughter, Kay E. Willhide of Carlisle; a sister, Lois Weagley of West Chester, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ridge Church of the Brethren. The Rev. David Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Southampton Township, Pa.
The viewing will be Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church.

Marguerite B. Kauffman
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Marguerite B. McCarney Kauffman, 88, a resident of Piney Mountain Nursing Home, and formerly of 11927 Loop Road, Fayetteville, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born May 9, 1910, in Wayne Heights, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Vesper Bloom McCarney.
In the 1930s, she worked at Waynesboro Knitting Mill, and was later employed by Tracey's Fashion in Chambersburg during the 1960s.
She is survived by her husband, Blaine W. Kauffman Sr., whom she married
April 5, 1928; five daughters, Phyllis K. Slike and Lois J. Thomas, both of Fayetteville, Sally A. Mumma and Nancy M. Valentine, both of Waynesboro, Pa., and Susie B. Mealor of Gainsville, Ga.; four sons, Blaine W. "Bill" Kauffman Jr. of Houston, Jackie C. Kauffman, John L. Kauffman and James T. Kauffman of Fayetteville; two sisters, Hilda Cover and Betty Smith, both of Waynesboro; three brothers, Charles McCarney and Harry McCarney Jr., both of Hagerstown, and Robert McCarney of Waynesboro; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Madeline Ridenhour and Janet Johnson; two brothers, Leroy McCarney and Wayne McCarney; and one grandson.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Keith M. Sider will officiate. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery in South Mountain, Pa.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Helen M. Crist
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Helen M. Born Jan. 29, 1913, in Marion, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Roy Milton and Annie Rebecca Cordell Cump.

She attended Brown's Mill School, and was active on the school's reunion committee.

She was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg.
She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Greencastle Sportsmen's Club for 44 years.
She is survived by two sons, William E. Crist of Chambersburg, and Adam I. Crist of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Glen Cump of Greencastle, Pa., and Paul Cump of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, with the Rev. Luis R. Rodriguez as celebrant. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

William G. Kissinger
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - William G. Born Nov. 21, 1912, in York, Pa., he was the son of the late Stuart H. and Mary Alice Hellman Kissinger.
He was a graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He was vice president of Landis Tool Co., where he was employed for more than 51 years. He started there at the age of 14 years, and worked his way up.
He was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.
He also was a member of BPO Elks in Waynesboro, and a past member of Rotary Club of Waynesboro, SCORE, United Way of Franklin County, and Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce serving as past president.
He was instrumental in the founding of Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course with Harold Rowe. He was on the board of Harbaugh Church Cemetery serving as treasurer for many years, and First National Bank of Waynesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Marie Houser Kissinger of Waynesboro; one daughter, Patricia Shaw of Grand Island, N.Y.; one son, William Kissinger of Los Angeles; two sisters, Myra Monn of Chambersburg and Mildred Haas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lochstampfor Funeral Home Inc., corner of South Church and West Second streets. The pastoral staff of his church will officiate. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.

Eric L. Wagaman
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Eric Lee Wagaman, 14, of 4924 Spruce Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, following an all-terrain vehicle accident on Coral Ridge Road, South Mountain, Pa.
Born April 27, 1984, in Waynesboro, he was the son of William V. Wagaman Sr. of South Mountain, and the late Debra Jean Naugle Wagaman. He lived all of his life in South Mountain.
He was an eighth-grade student at Waynesboro Middle School.
In addition to his father, he is survived by one sister, Angel Ann Wagaman of South Mountain; one brother, Mikeal H. Wagaman of South Mountain; one half-sister, Robin L. Wagaman of South Mountain; one half-brother, William V. Wagaman Jr. of South Mountain; one niece, one nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at New Baltimore Church of God, 4749 Spruce Road, South Mountain. Pastor Lee E. Daywalt will officiate. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery in South Mountain.
There will be no viewing; however the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Angel Ann Wagaman, 10663 Coral Ridge Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro.
