WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Adrian G. "Arnie" Snurr, 93, of 408 S. Potomac St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at his home.
Born Feb. 1, 1905, in Middletown, Md., he was the son of the late Grayson and Bertha Firestone Snurr.
He was a 1923 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He retired from Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro, where he was a foreman in the pattern shop, in 1972. Previously, he was employed with Frick Company in Waynesboro.
He attended Grace Baptist Church in Waynesboro.
For the past 26 years, he and his wife have spent the winter months in Tampa, Fla.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lemma G. Hardman Snurr; one daughter, Lemma F. Loomis, Hernado, Miss.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Deardorf; and three brothers, Dr. Glenn Snurr, Ensor Snurr and Quentin Snurr.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, N. Grant St. Ext., Waynesboro. The Rev. John F. Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends today, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, P.O. Box 444, Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.
Mabel E. Liebau
QUINCY, Pa. - Mabel Esther Kiser Liebau, 76, of 108 A Settle Road in Quincy Village, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Dec. 4 1998, at her home.
Born June 28, 1922, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Byron H. and Laura Bird Dayton Kiser.
She was a graduate of Ridgely High School in Ridgely, W.Va. and a 1962 graduate of University of Maryland School of Practical Nursing.
She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Greater Baltimore Medical Center until her retirement in 1984.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, Pa. and attended services in the chapel of Quincy United Methodist Home.
She was a member of Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurses Association and National AARP.
She played piano at her church when she was younger, was active in Girl Scouts of America in the Towson, Md., area and traveled three times to Kenai Peninsula, Alaska with Central Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church to aid in building churches.
She is survived by her husband of more than 57 years, George Edward Simon Liebau; two daughters, Cheryl L. Rosskopf of Stewartstown, Pa. and Esther L. Starkey of Morgantown, W.Va.; one son, George E. S. Liebau II of Lusby, Md.; two sisters, Mary K. Knowles of Roanoke, Va. and Wilma L. Luman of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Kiser and Byron H. Kiser Jr.
Memorial services were held Sunday at Minnich Manor Chapel in Quincy Village, Quincy. The Rev. Jay A. Zimmerman and Chaplain Carolyn C. Belenski officiated. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There was no public viewing.

Maude E. Kegerreis
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Maude E. Kegerreis, 85, a resident of Menno Haven, and formerly of 682 Broad St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 31, 1913, in Richmond Furnace, Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. and Mary Glass Kegerreis.
She was a 1931 graduate of Chambersburg High School, and a graduate of Chambersburg Business College.
She retired from Chambersburg Engineering Co. March 31, 1979.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
She is survived by one brother, Raymond D. Kegerreis of Chambersburg; one niece; two grandnieces.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Cemetery. The Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman will officiate.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Richard R. Levick
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Richard R. "Dick" Levick, 82, of 314 Geiser Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Dec. 7, 1998, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born Sept. 28, 1916, in Magnolia, Del., he was the son of the late Thomas R. and Viola Jane Galbraith Levick.
He was a 1935 graduate of Washington Township High School.
He was a welder and machinist at Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro for more than 42 years. He was production supervisor before retiring in 1982.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Waynesboro, taught Sunday school, was Sunday school superintendent and served on the church consistory.
He was a member of William Max McLaughlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 695, BPO Elks Lodge 731, Waynesboro Coin Club, South Chapter 2977 AARP and National AARP.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mildred Irene Mace Levick; two daughters, Donna A. Levick of Waynesboro and Debra K. Levick of Germantown, Md.; two sisters, Martha Frenzel of Waynesboro and Shirley Paterchak of Kettering, Ohio; one brother, Austin Levick of Waynesboro; and one grandson, whom he helped raise, Jason A. Levick of Waynesboro.
He was preceded in death by one sister and seven brothers.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 W. North St., Waynesboro. The Rev. James T. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to service at the church.
There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 W. North St., Waynesboro PA 17268.

Ned McCamant Fleming

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring, Chambersburg, and an elder.
He was a 1925 graduate of Gettysburg College.
He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, Kittochtinny Historical Society, Franklin County Heritage Inc., Izaak Walton League of America and the Chambersburg Art Alliance.
He was employed as an insurance agent with the Town and Village Insurance Co. in Chambersburg.
His wife, Jane Zimmers Fleming, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died June 13, 1984.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring, 221 N. Main St. The Rev. William H. Harter will officiate. Burial will be in Falling Spring Graveyard.
It is requested that flowers be omitted.
