CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Betty B. Anderson Huston, 74, of 4795 Sunset Pike, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg.
Born Oct. 2, 1924 in Maddensville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Zane H. and Myrtle C. Wagner Anderson.
She was first employed at the former Penn Hall Girls Prep School, Chambersburg. She then worked at a local sewing factory and then went on to assist her husband with the family business, first the former Huston's Body Shop, Scotland, Pa., then the former Huston's Auto Salvage, Chambersburg. She then worked at the former Ideal Cleaners, Chambersburg. and retired in 1985 after a number of years with Chambersburg Meals on Wheels.
She had been a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Chambersburg, since 1950, where she served on various committees. She had served as superintendent of the church annex at the church's previous location.
She was a member of Women of Moose 1128, Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, John L. "Jack" Huston, whom she married
on April 1, 1950; one son, Gary L. Anderson of Needmore, Pa.; three sisters, Lillian Cowan of Black Log, Pa., Madeline Garland of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Kay Rosenberry of Maddensville; one brother, Miles Horne of Clear Ridge, Pa., three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 2695 Luther Drive, Chambersburg. The Rev. Ruth R. Lupolt will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church.

Sarah J. Smith
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Sarah Jane Smith, 76, a resident of Menno Haven, Chambersburg, and formerly of Rockville, Md., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, at Menno Haven.
Born Nov. 15, 1922, in Hot Springs, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Archer J. and Elsie M. Peil Smith.
She was employed by National Institutes of Health Cancer Research Group, having worked at one time in Hagerstown and later retiring in Rockville.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Emma M. Rucks of Hot Springs, Ruth E. Berry of Clearwater, Fla., and Harriet S. Roche of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Menno Haven, 2075 Scotland Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Richard A. Randall will officiate. Burial will be private.
There will be no viewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 58 South Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Sarah B. Young Harmon

Born Aug. 30, 1908 in Scotland, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Laura B. Bittinger Young.

She was employed for many years with Stanley Company, Chambersburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Isabelle H. Armstrong, and Janet D. Young, both of Chambersburg; and one son, Ralph E. Harmon of Chambersburg; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and one grandson.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
Florence K. McDonald
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Florence K. McDonald, 93, a resident of Piney Mountain, Fayetteville, since March and formerly of 231 South Washington St., Greencastle, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in the nursing home.
Born June 4, 1905, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Annie E. Henneberger Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. "Bonas" McDonald, in 1960.
She was retired after many years as a floor lady with the Interwoven Stocking Company, formerly with factories in Greencastle, Hagerstown and Martinsburg. W.Va.
She was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church of Greencastle.
She was a member of W.C.T.U. and A.A.R.P.
She is survived by one sister, Ruth A. Myers of Homewood Retirement Home, Williamsport, several nieces, nephews and one cousin.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Brewer.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. David Rawley will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Lillian G. Simpson, 83, of 131 E. Main St., Apt. 2, and formerly of 403 W.
