Born Dec. 28, 1961, in Windber, son of Furl G. Oldham and Elsie (Helsel) Logue. Preceded in death by father and sister, Marsha E. Oldham. Survived by wife, Carol; mother; daughter, Madison; also stepfather, Dewey Logue. Brother of Shirley Oldham, Dawn Nugent and Vincent Logue. Also survived by grandson, Scott; nieces, Sonya, Angie, Kayla and Abbie; and nephews, James, Adam and Aaron. Nelson was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping. He was also a certified carpenter. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Raymond Wissinger officiating. Interment, Ogletown Cemetery.

SALEM - Connie M., 54, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2006. Born on Feb. 17, 1952, in Johnstown, daughter of James "Ben" and Alice (Stahl) Cobaugh of Wesley Chapel. Survived by parents; loving husband, Russell E. Salem, Richland Township; sons, B.J., and wife, P.J. Werzyn, Mechanicsburg; Jeremy A. Werzyn, Richland; Ryan R. Salem, New York, N.Y.; and Scott S., and wife, Sherri Salem, Richland; grandson, Ty Salem; sister, Pamela, wife of Robert Kristoff, Mineral Point; brothers, James, and wife, Amy, Windber; Thomas, and wife, Stephanie, Altoona; Timothy, Lancaster; and Matthew, State College; mother-in-law, Ceil A. Salem, Conemaugh; sister-in-law; Kathy M., wife of Paul Cunningham, Richland Township; and several nieces and nephews, extended family and special friends. Connie was a 1970 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was a member of Richland Christian Church. Connie will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be missed by all. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Richland Christian Church, with the Rev. WOJCICKI - John J.
WOJCICKI - John J. "Woji," 80, of Windber, went to be with the Lord July 30, 2006, at home. Born June 30, 1926, in Windber, son of Constant and Helen (Yun) Wojcicki. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary Jane (Bunk) Wojcicki; infant son, John Jr.; and brothers, Adam and Edward Wojcicki. Survived by sons, Robert Wojcicki, at home, and Thomas Wojcicki, Windber; granddaughter, Christianne, wife of Christopher Johnson; sister, Helen, wife of Joseph Marcinko, Windber; sister-in-law, Helen Wojcicki, Cleveland; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1944 graduate of Windber High School, where John lettered in football and basketball. He was a member of the undefeated 1942 and 1943 Rambler football teams. He also pitched for various independent baseball teams in the area. U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater during the Battle of the Bulge, being wounded in action. After the war years, he played quarterback for the Johnstown Clippers semi-pro football league. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel of Johnstown, Gautier Division, with over 30 years of service. A 1995 inductee of Windber Hall of Fame and member of the Windber American Legion and VFW. Woji was a lifelong supporter of Windber High School Athletics, especially football, basketball and baseball. He was an avid golfer and former member of the Windber Country Club. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, where John was on the Cemetery committee and where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek, V.F. Committal, St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Windber, with graveside military honors by Windber VFW. Esther was a 1960 graduate of Central Cambria High School. She was a member of Singer Hill Grace Brethren Church, and served as financial secretary and pianist. She was a past Matron of Johnstown Chapter 183, Order of the Eastern Star. Esther was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all, and will be remembered for her family dinners and spending time with her grandchildren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Duane P. Blough officiating. Mr. Divins was born Feb. 1, 1915, in Curwensville, Pa., son of the late William H. and Jane Proud Divins. He was a coal miner in Pennsylvania, and then a water tender for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. Mr. Divins was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Youngstown, and a member of the Shepherd of the Glades Church in Naples. The most important thing in his life was caring for his family and home. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Merzik; one son, Grant Lee Divins, Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Ruth Divins-Walker, Naples, Mary Jane Brooks, Austintown; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Divins-Owens; three brothers, Edward Divins, Arthur "Tim" Divins and George "Shorty" Divins; and two sisters, Minnie Kohler and Annie Hannah. He will be sadly missed by family and friends and remembered for his sense of humor.
