WOLF - Paul H. Jr., 75, Apopka, Fla., passed away Jan. 20, 2005, in Apopka. Born June 24, 1929, in Johnstown, son of the late Paul H. Sr. and Florence (Heilmann) Wolf. Survived by wife, Alice (Adams), Apopka; sons, Jim Wolf, Roswell, Ga.; and Dan Wolf, Gainesville, Fla.; daughters, Susan LaRock, Coral Springs, Fla.; Barbara Traft, Jupiter, Fla.; and Peggy Kephart, Keyser, W.Va.; sister, Dolores Dickert, Johnstown; 11 grandchildren; and faithful companion, Dixie. He moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 1954, then moved to Apopka in 1996. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Apopka, and Elks Lodge in Florida, for 30 years. Memorial service was held Jan. 25 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, at a date to be determined by the family. Service was entrusted to Loomis Funeral Home, Apopka.

Gearty; paternal great-grandparents, Harry and Linda Ruffing; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Velma Grumbling, Johnstown; and Henry and Connie Mohle, Bedford; and uncle, Justin Gearty, and aunt, Jaime Gearty, Windber.

HLATKY - Rose M. Born April 13, 1909, in Beaverdale, daughter of the late George and Anna (Valiga) Rovnak. Preceded in death by husband, Michael P. Hlatky and wife, Rose. Also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. Rose was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by these children: Cecelia Klotz, Windber; Dorothy, wife of Robert Babal, Dayton, Ohio; Thomas Hlatky, DeBary, Fla., with whom Rose resided; Eleanor, wife of Enrico Dalimonte, Jacksonville, N.C.; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Rose was a beloved mother and grandmother and "Baba" to 51 descendants. She was so loving and spent her time making hundreds of lap robes for senior citizens, many younger than herself. She made 33 lap blankets for the veterans nursing home in Daytona Beach, Fla., and was thrilled to get several pictures of men using them and this past December was awarded a plaque thanking her. Member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, DeBary, Fla., and former member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber. Rose was one of the founding members of the Ladies Guild of SS. Cyril & Methodius church and was a member of the church rosary society. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, the Rev. Matthew Misurda. Committal, church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, or a charity of your choice in Rose's memory.

JOHNSON - Raymond A.
JOHNSON - Raymond A., 84, Nanty Glo, passed away Feb. 28, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 22, 1919, in Nanty Glo, son of Arthur and Josephine (Kenhart) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Fannie; brothers, Gust, William and Walter; sisters, Vianna Farabaugh and Jennie Wright; and nephew, Robert Johnson. Survived by nieces and nephews: James and wife, Betty, Nanty Glo; William and wife, Carolyn, Ohio; Kenneth and wife, Adele, Jackson Township; Ellen Jacoby and husband, John, Seward; Adam and wife, Betty, Fredericksburg, Va.; Alfred and wife, Linda; Jerry and friend, Lori; Sandra Croyle and husband, Richard, all of Nanty Glo; Robert and wife, Margaret, Mineral Point; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Retired from Mine 31 with 30 years' service. Marine Corps veteran, serving in World War II. Member of Local 1386, UMWA; Lodge 207, Moose, Nanty Glo; Post 4963, VFW, Ebensburg; and Post 619, American Legion, Nanty Glo. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. John Snyder officiating. Interment in Finnlanders Cemetery, Nanty Glo. Veteran service will be conducted by the local veterans organizations.

KIBLER - Genevieve

Last member of her immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Genevieve enjoyed embroidering, playing cards, and she was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Promoter of Miraculous Medal Association Member of Chest Springs Senior Citizens, Altar & Rosary Society and St. Monica's Catholic Church, Chest Springs, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Msgr. Timothy Stein celebrant. Committal, church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, where vigil service will be held Tuesday.
