Born Dec. 15, 1922, in Boyntown, Pa., son of John Wesley and Cora Mae (Hockman) Walker. Preceded in death by his parents and infant sister. Survived by his wife, the former Pauline Davis and these children: Lloyd Paul "Skip," married to the former Linda Gamber, Windber; Lynetta, wife of Grove Deming, Gibsonia; Ronald L., married to the former Lynn Mazingo, Circleville, Ohio; Constance Mae, wife of Thomas Eager, Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Timothy, married to the former Sherree Mann, Johnstown. Also survived by five grandchildren and a sister, LeEtta Mae, wife of LeRoy Stutzman, Berlin. A World War II Navy veteran. Lloyd was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a supervisor for the mechanical department. Life member of VFW Menoher Post 155. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, the Rev. Noah Martin officiating. Entombment will take place at Richland Mausoleum with military rites by VFW Menoher Post 155. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963.

WALKO - Walter J. Born Aug. 22, 1927, in Windber, son of Stephen F. and Anna (Pruchnik) Walko. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Louis Walko and Edward S. Walko; sisters, Virginia C. Klustner and Stephanie Yanik. Survived by and brother of William Walko, married to former Ann Antonishak, Windber; Rosalie Gartland, Johnstown; Mary Ann, wife of Richard L. Jacobs, Salix; Leo Walko, married to former Irene Porcenaluk, Ohio; and Eugene Walko, married to former Theresa Mehaly, Mine 30. Also numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Jean Ann Walko, Ohio, and brother-in-law, Thomas Klustner. Special thanks to caregiver, Dick Jacobs. U.S. veteran of World War II, having served in the Air Force. Former coal miner and machinist at Black & Decker, Ohio. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek, V.F. Committal, St. John Cantius Cemetery, Windber. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.

CHIRILLO - Joseph A., 83, Johnstown, passed away June 13, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 30, 1920, in Madera, Pa., son of Joseph and Mary (Capatch) Chirillo. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Carmen, James and Peter; sisters, Mary Chieppor Piro and Josephine Kapitan. Survived by beloved wife of 58 years, Fannie (Stumpo); children, Barbara J., married to Stephen McGill; Joseph F., married to Mitzi (Tracy), both of Bucks County; and Brian K., married to Peggy (Andreyo), Johnstown; beloved grandchildren, Dr. Kara, married to Matthew Davis; Stephen P. McGill; Brandon J., married to Dana; Carrie, Marissa, Kate, Chad and Laura Chirillo; sister, Theresa Novelli; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Matilda Chirillo; Samuel Joseph, married to Pauline; Mary Angello, married to Eugene Delusa; Dante "Doc," married to Ruth; Domenick "Mickey," married to Josephine; Anthony "Buck"; Frank Jr., married to Jeannie; Louise, married to Edward Mattis; and James, married to Gail; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Member of Sons of Italy Lodge 1614, where he was financial secretary for over 30 years; Knights of Columbus, St. Anthony's Council 9136; Holy Name Society; longtime treasurer of the Goodfellowship Steelworkers Bowling League; and St. Anthony Festival chairman for 25 years. Inducted into the Johnstown Metro Bowling League Hall of Fame. Life member of Menoher Post 155 VFW. Member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice in Joseph's memory.

Survived by these children, Donald of Deltona, Fla.; George, married to Gail (Rager), Brighton, Mich.; and Jacqueline Diehl of Johnstown. Also granddaughter, Stacy Diehl. Mr. Diehl was an Air Force veteran of World War II. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was well-known, loved and well-regarded in the neighborhood. He was an avid pet lover and a self-employed mechanic. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Geisel Funeral Home, 734 Bedford St., Dale. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Geisel-Devlin Memorial Chapel. Entombment, Forest Lawn Mausoleum.

Survived by wife, the former Betty Mae Solley; and these children, Julia Myers, Wayne Milkovich (Dana), and Mae Zoe Milkovich, all of Colver; and three grandchildren, Nathan, Logan and Carissa. Brother of Roslia "Rose" Juba, Colver. U.S. Air Force veteran of Korean War. Member of Post 8897 VFW, Bakerton, and Post 363 American Legion, Ebensburg. Life member of DAV, Johnstown Chapter 2, Colver Sportsman Club and Cambria County Old Timers Baseball Association. Volunteered at the veteran's home in Hollidaysburg. Retired from the Ebensburg State Center with 30 years of service. George enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Very Rev. Andrew Matychak. Committal, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.

MOLNAR - Olga (Yasko), 88, of Mine 37, entered eternal life June 12, 2004, at Windber Medical Center. Born April 26, 1916, in Windber, daughter of Andrew and Anna (Tkach) Yasko. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Joseph, Michael and Paul Yasko; and sisters, Helen Yasko, Anna Gaio and Emma Stropko. Survived by husband, Alex Molnar; and these children, Shirley, wife of John D. Fetchko, Windber; Barbara Shuster, Painesville, Ohio; Gloria, wife of Arthur LaMonaca, Richland; and James Molnar, Richland; grandchildren, Jacqueline, wife of Don Morgan; Heather Shuster; James Molnar Jr.; and Victoria LaMonaca; and great-grandson, Augustine Morgan. Also survived by brother, Paul Yasko, and wife, Betty, Painesville, Ohio. Former employee of Eureka Department Store, Windber, and Richland School District. Olga will be lovingly remembered as someone who always considered others first. Most important to her were her children, grandchildren, great-grandson and her husband of 57 years. She loved camping, homemaking and especially her dog, Molly. We will miss a million things about her, but mostly her love and sense of humor. Member of SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Windber, where she was a former Sunday school teacher for 16 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, Brief service at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by Burial Service at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Windber, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter David Smoley. Interment, Richland Cemetery. Panachida service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Olga was a friend to many and described by them as "truly a lady."
