Born Nov. 2, 1929, in Queen, daughter of Robert E. and Mary (Knisely) Mills. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harold Duane Davis, whom she married April 17, 1948; and son, David Thomas. Survived by children, Mary E. Davis, Bedford; Patricia E., married to Roger Fickes, New Bloomfield; Robert E. Davis, married to Donna (Roberts), Nassau, Bahamas; James D. Davis, married to Janice (Gohn), New Castle; Priscilla A., married to Steven Hauer, Pavia; Rebecca S., married to Gary Musselman, Alum Bank; Jenny L., married to Dennis Pyers, Carlisle; and Melissa J. Davis, Alum Bank; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Brown, Alum Bank, and Sarah Mills, Bedford, Texas. With her husband, she developed, owned and operated Hickory Grove Park in Alum Bank for 12 plus years. She made donations to various charity organizations and loved helping others. Our beloved mother and friend who touched the hearts of those who knew her. We are blessed and thankful to have had her in our lives. When her Lord and Savior called her home, we are comforted to know that she will never suffer again. Mother, we will be together again one day, along with our father and brother, in the presence of the Lord. Member of Queen Bible Truth Hall. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at J. DROST - Mr. Stephen Paul "Rocky," 65, of 700 N. Center St., Ebensburg, formerly of 2715 Fairway Drive, Altoona, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday afternoon, July 30, 2004, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was Born March 3, 1939, in Altoona, son of the late Nicholas and Verline (Hunter) Drost. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Drost enjoyed printing, computers, the Internet, eagles and the American flag. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Surviving are three daughters, Stephanee R. Drost, and her fiance, Bill Caddy, of Johnstown; Mandy L. Drost, and her boyfriend, Don, of Altoona; and Nichole A. Hollibaugh, and her husband, David, of Altoona; three grandchildren, Alexis M. Drost, Peyton L. Drost and David S. Drost; and a brother, Nicholas Drost of Altoona. Mr. Drost was preceded in death by a brother, Ted William Drost Jr. Private viewing and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. FISCUS - Lynn Patricia
FISCUS - Lynn Patricia, Born July 28, 1952, in Johnstown, passed away July 31, 2004, in Carrollton, Texas. She was survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Jayne; and brothers and sister, David, Susan and Darren. She was the daughter of William and Jane Hemminger of Johnstown. Lynn was employed for many years by The United Way, and most recently served as president of the United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas and director of Planned Giving and Endowment. She received her B.A. in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and a M.A. in counseling psychology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Member of the National Committee On Planned Giving, American Society for Training and Development, Leadership Texas, Class of 1993 and Leadership Texas Alumni Association. Opportunity to pay respects and share memories will be at the vigil service and Rosary at St. Rita's Catholic Church at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, at St. Rita's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park. Flowers may be sent to Restland Funeral Home. Cox, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Cindy, Cheryl and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Corie, Angie, Rob and Ryan; and great-great-grandchildren, Devon and Amber; and brother, William Fesko, married to the former Joanne Kleinmeyer, Lancaster. Kathleen was a member of Roxbury Church of the Brethren and the Geistown Senior Citizens. GONGLOFF - Janet (Anderson), 69, Mineral Point, passed away Aug. 2, 2004, at Windber Hospice. Born Aug. 14, 1934, in Nettleton, Pa., daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Taylor) Anderson. Preceded in death by sisters, Emma Laverick, Violet Anderson, Florence Nicols, Pearl Isenberg, Peg Deist and Jean Saylor. Survived by husband of 52 years, John Gongloff; sons, Gary Gongloff, married to the former Kathy Jessell, and Terry Gongloff, married to the former Margie Wirfel; and grandchildren, Suzanne, Gary Craig, Mark and Kristi. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Robert "Chip" Anderson, married to the former Margaret Kostic; Irving "Chub" Anderson, married to the former Shirley Brown; Ann, married to the late Bob Gergely; Ron Anderson, married to the former Peggy Jo McDermott; Donna, married to David Eckenroth; Marcella, married to Don Kinter; Joyce, married to Harold Mitchell; and Sally, married to Bob Adams. Member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Aunt to Joan, wife of Howard Albright, Alum Bank, and Patricia Gail, wife of Craig Mummert, Arkansas. Also seven grandnephews and three grandnieces. Grace was a longtime employee of former Penn Traffic Co., Johnstown. She also won the title of "Miss Johnstown" years ago. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy S. (Eller) McCormick; three daughters, Melanie (and her husband, Scott) Schlauder of Columbus, Ohio; Amanda (and her husband, Eric) Johnson of Riverview, Fla.; and Misty (and her husband, Roger) Terhorst of Mount Pleasant; three grandchildren, Marissa Johnson and Zachariah and Gavin Terhorst; three sisters, Carolyn Vanderhoff of Corry, Pa.; Jane Vaughn of Raleigh, N.C.; and Doris Duvall of Breezewood; and two brothers, Charles McCormick of Everett, and Robert McCormick of Manlius, N.Y. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 E.
