Survived by loving sons, Greg (Marcia Smith) Stager, Tyrone; Denis (Carol Williams) Stager, Philadelphia; Mark (Irene Landen) Stager, Richmond, Va.; Chris (Dorothy Chance) Stager, South Bend, Ind.; and Jeff (Pam Gallagher) Stager, Harrisburg; and 10 grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Edward (Carol) Carmel, of Hagerstown, Md.; and brother-in-law, Robert Thompson, of Columbus, Ohio. Eleanor was an avid reader, late- night movie watcher and enjoyed being a grandmother. At Eleanor's request, there will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, the Rev. Dr. David L. Karlberg officiating. Private committal will be held Monday at Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Member of St. Catherine of Siena, Duncansville. Retired as a library aide from the Penn Cambria School District with 17 years of service. Graduate of Altoona Catholic High School and Zeth Business College. Sister of Veronica, wife of Jack Malone, New York, and Francis Roman, and wife, Lenora, California. Ann was a kind-hearted person to everyone she knew and she especially loved her pets. GORDON - Raymond L., 55, Dunlo, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with scleroderma on Dec. 25, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 31, 1949, in Johnstown, son of William and Phoebe (Miller) Gordon. Preceded in death by father and niece, Heather. Survived by mother and these brothers and sisters: William, married to the former Rhonda Shaffer, Salix; Douglas, married to the former Jacqueline Homa, Portage; Vicki, wife of Mark Schneider, Mount Holly Springs; Kate Maher, Johnstown; Judy Gordon, Dunlo; Jeffrey, married to the former Tonia Connelly, Johnstown; and Jodi, wife of John Huston, Johnstown. Also survived by these nieces and nephews: Bill Gordon; D.J. and Phil Maher; Jolene and Luke Schneider; Amber Gordon; Kyle Gordon; Jacob and Sarah Huston.
