Saylor, Richland; Patti Myers, Raleigh, N.C.; Sherrie, wife of Robert Salata, Sidman; Becky, wife of Timothy Kozich, Sidman; and Jill, wife of Theodore Burkett, Sidman; grandchildren, Bobby, Kara, Denny, Carrie, Melanie, Sara, Danielle, Adam, Leslie, Ann, Ross, Teddi and Kristi; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Makayla, Jaxon and Jonas; brother, Dr. Byron Myers, Wyoming; and special family friend, Don Sauter; also caregivers, Leslie Shrader, Sharon Killian, Misty Lawery, and her daughter, Gabby. "Bill" was a railroad conductor for PRR, NYC and Conrail and retired from Conrail after many years. He loved farming on his farm in Sidman and he had a great sense of humor. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, the Rev. Kathleen Schoeneck of Asera Care Hospice. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. The family request memorial donations to be made to Asera Care Hospice. The family would like to thank Asera Care Hospice for all their wonderful care.

Survived by husband, David Cable Troyer, to whom she was married for 53 years; children: Mrs. Roger (Debra T.) Bunnell, Hollidaysburg; David O. Troyer, Suisun City, Calif.; and Dr. Devin J. Troyer, married to the former Mary Walmer, Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren, Kyle Brunnell and Wesley, Jordan, Braeden and Mya Troyer; and brothers and sister, Charles Lape, and wife, Ruth, Sipesville; Ralph Lape, and wife, Loraine, Boswell; Foster Lape, and wife, Catherine, Gray; and Mrs. J. Robert (Lois) Brougher, Somerset. A 1950 graduate of Boswell High School and a graduate of the Chestnut Hill School of Nursing. Worked as a registered nurse at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Mich.; Hershey Medical Center and Snavely Nursing Home, both in Hershey; and the Intensive Care Unit at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg. Doris enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and laughter with friends and relatives.
