IMPERIAL, PA - William H. “Bill” Hermanns, age 57, of Findlay Twp., Imperial, Pa., died Monday, September 17, 2007.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Fannie Hermanns; beloved husband of Carol (Bartone) Hermanns; beloved father of Lena (Craig) Hermanns, Keri (Kevin) Garrett and Shawna Hermanns; step-father of Greg Anthony; cherished grandfather of Chance, Lief and Matthew; brother of Linn Sommers and Gillis Hermanns; and son-in-law of Donald and Norma Bartone.
Bill believed in and lived by the “Golden Rule”.
Family to receive friends at the WHARTON-HERRICK FUNERAL HOME, 951 Cliff Mine Road, Imperial, Pa. on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. Directions and/or questions may be directed to (724) 695-7332, Edward M. Herrick, Funeral Director/ Owner.

Mark A. Cevera
WESTLAND, Pa. - Mark Andrew Cevera, 43, of Westland, Pa., died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, in Washington Hospital in Washington, Pa.
Born Aug. 7, 1959, in Ashtabula, he was the son of Bernard and Angie (Lagoni) Cevera.
He graduated in 1978 from St. John High School, and was a starting player for the Heralds football team. He was involved in the performing arts since high school and enjoyed sports, music, religion and Ohio State football.
Survivors include his mother of Westland; brothers, Bernard of Kansas City, Kansas and Steven of Ashtabula and a sister, Tina Cevera DiCicco of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Mother of Sorrows Church in Ashtabula, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ashtabula.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula.

Ted J. Passmore
CONNEAUTVILLE, PA - Ted J. Passmore, 68, of Stateline Road, Conneautville, PA, died on Friday, August 1, 2003, at his home from injuries received in a tractor accident.
Born in Cleveland on October 26, 1934, he was the son of David A. and Anna R. (Polgar) Passmore, he had resided in Monroe Township and the Conneautville area most of his life.
Mr. Passmore was employed by Rockwell International in Ashtabula for 36 years as a tow-motor operator, and also drove truck for Bob Crandall and Ed Mathews.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church, and had also served in the Ohio National Guard. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, camping, and being around his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking care of his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth Szalai, to whom he had been marriage for the past 50 years; two daughters, Karen and her husband Thomas Knauff of Pierpont, and Kathie Bradnan of Monroe Township; three sons, David Passmore, Brian and his wife Alicia Passmore, all of Pierpont, and Ted and his wife Carrollanne of Covalis, MT; two sisters, Rita Paulson of Freemont, OH, and Marie Greene of Garfield Heights, OH; and nine grandchildren, Ted, and Justin Knauff, Jordan, and Phoebe Passmore, Mikahla Passmore, Matthew, Brittnay, and David Bradnan, and Ashley Hakkarainen.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian E. Passmore.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the THOMPSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 345 Main Street, Conneaut, with the Rev. Raymond Thomas, pastor of St. Mary's Church, officiating. Internment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Pierpont.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, August 4, 2003, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Robert W. Strawbridge
Monday, September 17, 2007
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Robert “Bonneville Bob” W. Strawbridge, age 57, of Chickasaw Lane, S.C., passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born Nov. 15, 1949 in Columbia, S.C., he was the son of the Sarah Robbins Strawbridge and the late Joseph R. Strawbridge. Mr. Strawbridge was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
An avid classic car fan, Mr. Strawbridge was a member of the Winyah Cruisers for over 20 years. He had served as corresponding secretary and editor of the newsletter. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and discussing his favorite topics of old cars and Rock and Roll Music.
Mr. Strawbridge is pre-deceased by his grandparents, Walter and Hallie Strawbridge of Oil City, Pa., and Roy and Miriam Robbins of Statesville, N.C.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his sister, Vicki Strawbridge.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, 11528 Highway 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet, S.C. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in North Kingsville, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph A. H. Bierer Jr.
FUQUAY-VERINA, NC - Joseph A. H. Bierer Jr., 62, of Windsor, OH, died Monday, June 2, 2003, while visiting his daughter Melissa McLaughlin of Fuquay-Verina, NC.
Born on September 13, 1940, he was the son of Joseph and Venelta (Nestor) Bierer Sr.
Mr. Bierer worked for the Fisher Body Division of GMC, retiring after 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Eva (Rush) Bierer of Windsor; four children, Joseph A. H. Bierer III, Sharon Reckart and Bryon, all of Windsor, and Melissa McLaughlin of Fuquay-Verina, NC; one sister, Frances Titus of Bobtown, PA; three brothers, Truman Jay Mundell of Wickliffe, Hubert Bierer of Orwell, and Lawrence Bierer of Windsor; and two grandchildren, Christopher Bierer and Jakob McLaughlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2003, at the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, PA 15474.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2003, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Davistown, PA.

Wayne D. Moyer
TRANSFER - Wayne D. Moyer, 48, of Scenic Mobile Home Park, lot 71, Transfer, Pa., died Saturday, May 5, 2001, at UPMC Horizon Hospital, Greenville, Pa., following a brief illness.
He was born April 18, 1953, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Glenn and Mary (Plummer) Moyer.
He was employed in the maintenance department for the Hermitage School District. Mr. Moyer enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Survivors include his mother; three sons, David P. and Shawn W. Moyer, both of Jamestown, Pa., and Dakota L. Moyer, at home; one sister, Cynthia McClimans, of Jamestown, N.Y.; and one brother, Glen Moyer, Jr., of Adamsville, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents Charles and Alice Plummer; and paternal grandparents Alvin and Beatrice Moyer.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home, Greenville, Pa., is in charge of the arrangements.

Forrest C. Rickers
MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, OH - Forrest C. Rickers, 76, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, OH.
He was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Corry, Pa., the son of Charles and Genevieve Rickers.
Mr. Rickers had lived in Montville Township for 42 years, coming from Footville, OH.
He was a machinist for the TRW TAPCO Plant in Cleveland, retiring after 34 years. He also was a member of the TRW Old Guard.
He marriage Doris Rau on Nov. 23, 1946, in Allentown, Pa.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard of Mentor, Jeff of Bradford, Mass., and Paul of Chardon; a daughter, Katherine Arnold of Chardon; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service is 1 p.m., Tuesday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, with the Rev. Hank Williams of East Heisley Church of God, Mentor, OH, officiating. Burial will be in Montville Township Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland 44119; or the American Cancer Society, Northeast Area, 7861 Crile Road, Concord Township 44077.
