SPRING HILL, Fla. - Hilda L. Wolfe, 69, of Spring Hill, Fla., died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born Aug. 11, 1933, in Ulysses, Pa., the daughter of Milo and Ida (Dutton) Watson. She had lived in the Spring Hill area for the past 23 years. She was of the Free Methodist faith.
She is survived by two sons, David Erickson of Conneaut, and Dennis Erickson of Tampa, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Linda Erickson and Laura McKinzie, both of Spring Hill, Sherry Finlaw of Brooksville, Fla., and Candee Berry of Tampa; two brothers, Gerald Watson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and John W. Watson of Ohio.
Mrs. Wolfe will be cremated, and her ashes will be buried in Kingsville Cemetery, North Kingsville, at the convenience of the family.
Local arrangements are being handled by the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.
Eric R. Larson
October 6, 1939 - December 4, 2011
Services: December 8th, 2011 at 6-8 P. M.
Eric R. Larson, age 72, former Jefferson, [OH] resident and now living in Linesville, PA, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at the Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA.
He was born October 6, 1939 in Jefferson, the son of Oscar N. & Rachel B. (Calvert) Larson and was a lifelong resident prior to moving to Linesville, PA in 1998. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp and while based in Quantico, VA, he drove many dignitaries. Mr. Larson retired in 1999 from TECT (formerly TRW) in Cleveland after 36 years. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include three children, Christopher J. Larson of Jefferson, David A. Larson o Pierpont Twp. & Christine R. Larson of Linesville, PA, four grandchildren, grandson Anthony Larson who was always at Grandpa’s side and Dalton, Danielle & Alenna and four siblings, June M. Furman of Port Charlotte, FL, Emma Ruth Powers of Albuquerque, NM, Terry E. Larson of Noblesville, IN & Carol I. (Larry) Hill of Geneva and a sister-in-law, Marie Larson of Jacksonville, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, his twin, Albert, Donald & Oscar and three sisters in infancy.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6-8 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of the Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, [OH]. No services will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, in care of Christine Larson, 2584 Poplar St., Linesville, PA 16424, envelopes will also be at the funeral home.
Robert C. Britton
LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Robert C. Britton, 46, died Friday, Dec. 7, 200, at Medical Memorial Center in Las Cruces, following a long illness.
He was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Ringgold, Pa., to Robert and Virginia (Spencer) Britton.
Mr. Britton spent his early years in Conneaut, OH, and relocated to Las Cruces, N.M., because of illness.
Survivors include his mother; daughters Justina and Cierra Britton; sister Linda Moses; and three grandsons. All surviving family members live in Las Cruces, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be held in Las Cruces, N.M.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetic Foundation and can be mailed in care of Virginia Britton, 155 Roberts Dr., Las Cruces, N.M. 88005.
Wendell Bernard Hansel
GURNEE, Ill. - Wendell Bernard Hansel, 85, formerly of Burton, OH and Houtzdale, Pa., died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at the Hines Veterans Administration Medical Center in Hines, Ill.
He was born Oct. 20, 1915, in Houtzdale, the son of Michael and Elizabeth (Shedlock) Hanzel.
Mr. Hansel marriage Catherine Zoe McMullen May 20, 1939, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Madera, Pa.
He was co-owner with his wife of the Hansel's Golden Dawn grocery store in Burton from 1947-1979.
Mr. Hansel served in the Army during World War II in Europe.
He was a parishioner of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Burton, the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and the Burton Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include four sons, Leighton Wendell Hansel of Gurnee, Barry James Hansel of Lawrenceburg, Ind., William Gregory Hansel of Atlanta, Ga., and Alexander Michael Hansel of Burton; and 12 grandchildren, Robert, Gail, Richard, Karen, Ryan, Wendell, Barry, Jessica, Patrick, Alex, Gillian and Andrew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Catherine Zoe (McMullen) Hansel on Oct. 12, 1992; brothers, Michael J., Stephen, John, Joseph and Robert; and sisters, Ann Custer and Matilda Burgess.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ The King Catholic Church in Houtzdale, with Monsignor Desmond McGee as celebrant. Internment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Brisbin, Pa.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Madera. A Christian wake service will be 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Charles L. Bossard
COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - Charles L. Bossard, 78, of Cottage Grove, died Saturday, May 25, 2002.
He was born Aug. 2, 1923, in Conneautville, Pa., and had been a long-time Conneaut resident before moving to Cottage Grove in 1987.
He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, repairing and inspecting planes coming back from the front lines.
He retired from the Norfolk Western Railroad, where he worked as a car inspector.
He marriage the former Margaret Bishop on Aug. 26, 1980, in Jefferson, [OH].
He was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 810 of Cottage Grove, and was also a member of that city's Veterans of Foreign Wars post. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking, gardening and hiking.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Eileen Gaugh of Conneaut; and a stepson, Peter Shoshin of Cottage Grove, Ore.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Geraldine Tobias.
Memorial service is 1 p.m. Sunday at the Cottage Grove Moose Lodge.
There will be no calling hours, but a luncheon will follow the service.
The Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Cottage Grove, Ore., has charge of the arrangements.
Helen M. Cosner
NORTH SPRINGFIELD, Pa. - Helen M. Cosner, 91, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at St. Vincent's Health Center, Erie, Pa.
She was born Dec. 5, 1910, in Clarks Corners, Monroe Township, the daughter of Richard and Louise (Hall) Weaver.
A lifelong resident of North Springfield, she was a graduate of Springfield High School and Erie Business College.
She was employed as an assembler at Rich's Frozen Food, Girard, Pa., and also worked for Conneaut Grain and Fuel, the Conneaut Creamerie, and the former Astatic Corp., Conneaut.
She was a member of the Federated Church, the Golden Circle of the Church, the Order of Eastern Star, Albion, Pa., and a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary, Conneaut.
Mrs. Cosner enjoyed china painting and playing the organ and piano.
Survivors include three sons, Richard C. of Monroe Township, and Howard G. and Donald E. of Conneaut; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W. Howard, in 1987; and a brother, Paul Weaver.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with the Rev. Ed Huntley of the Federated Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Robert Boyd Waldo
EAST SPRINGFIELD, PA - Robert Boyd Waldo, age 69, of East Springfield, PA, died, Saturday, June 14, 2003, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Erie on January 13, 1934, the son of the late Roy and Mildred Weis Waldo.
He was a 1952 graduate of Strong Vincent High School.
He served in the United States Army, as a Specialist, during the Korean conflict. He was a Merchant Marine for over 35 years, having been a Wheelsman for Bethlehem Steel Co. on the Great Lakes. He was also previously employed by the General Telephone Co. as a Telephone Linesman.
He was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.
A motorcycle enthusiast, he was a former member of "The Nomads." He was also a seasoned musician, especially as a guitarist.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Robert Traut.
He is survived by a sister, Marilyn Jean Miller, of Erie; a niece, Sally Valone and her husband, Robert, of North East, PA; two nephews, Richard Traut and his wife, Jennifer, of Erie; and James Traut and his wife, Catherine, of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street, Erie, on Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Janz, of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 1527 Sassafras Street, Erie, PA 16502.
