ALLENWOOD, Pa. - Gail Diane Skelton, 52, formerly of Girard, Pa., died Sunday Feb. 4, 2001, at her home after an extended illness.
She was born July 28, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Michael and Virginia (Cross) Barlow. On July 15, 1967, she marriage Dave Skelton.
She was a graduate of Hampton High School, and attended art courses in Pittsburgh. She graduated key punch school, and was also a graduate of Williamsport Area Community College, having taken courses in restaurant management.
Mrs. Skelton worked at Springs Manufacturing, Montgomery, where she had been employed for 11 1/2 years. She previously worked at City View Inn in South Williamsport for 11 years. She attended St. John's Methodist Church in Allenwood.
Mrs. Skelton enjoyed her family, reading, cross-stitching, crocheting, layout designing, and painting Christmas decorations. She also enjoyed flowers, especially yellows and purples. She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates fan.
Survivors include her husband; her parents; two sons, William of Allenwood, Pa., and Robert of Wilmington, N.C.; two granddaughters, Shelby and Courtney, both of Allenwood, Pa.; four brothers, Ronald Barlow of Greensboro, N.C., David Barlow of Castle Rock, Wash., James Barlow of Chicago, and Michael Barlow of Las Vegas; three sisters, Jeanne Roche of Acme, Pa., Nancy Berlin of Columbus, Ohio, and Sally Gibson of Butler, Pa.
Service will be noon Wednesday at St. John's Methodist Church in Allenwood, Pa. The Rev. Max W. Furman will officiate.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, Inc., 125 N. Front St., Milton, Pa., and from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Association, Divine Providence Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701, or to Susquehanna Health Services Home Care and Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
Harry O. Meadors Jr.

Harry O. Meadors, Jr., 72, of Springboro, Pa. died Tuesday (Nov. 1st) at his home. He was born March 20, 1939 in Greenville, Pa. the son of Harry O. and Margaret (Kieffer) Meadors, Sr..
He had worked at Erie Tool & Forge part time until February of the is year. For 40 years he worked as a Process and Project Engineer for the Plastics Industry.
He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, casino trips and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving him are his wife Debra A. Meadors whom he marriage August 6, 1983; three sons, Greg (Mary) Adkins of Springboro, Pa., Douglas (Kristin) Adkins of Bushnell, Ohio and Harry O. (Jill) Meadors III of Ashtabula; a daughter, Michelle (Dan) Steinbeck of Cochranton, Pa.; thirteen grandchildren; a sister, Ruthanne Gorby and a brother, James F. Meadors. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Joyce and Margaret.
A memorial service will be Friday (Nov. 4th) at 7:00 PM at the Conneaut Valley Church of the Nazarene, 139 South Main St. Springboro, Pa. with Rev. Marshall Lillie officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St. Meadville, Pa. 16335. The Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 526 West Prospect Rd. Ashtabula is in charge of arrangements.
LELAND C. ALTHOF
ERIE, PA - Leland C. Althof, 69, a resident of the Beverly Health Care Western Reserve in Erie, PA, died early Wednesday morning, August 13, 2003, at Select Specialty Hospital, Erie, PA.
Family and Friends are invited to call at the JEAN EVANS THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, PA, on Friday, August 15, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 16, 2003, from Noon until time of the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ed Huntley, of the Federated Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Wellsburg, PA.
Georgia V. Gray
NILES - Georgia V. Gray, 85, a former Jefferson, Ohio resident, died Thursday morning, June 12, at her daughter's residence in Niles, following a long illness.
Born November 25, 1917 in Tiltonsville, OH, the daughter of Thomas H. & Maude E. (Lutz) Gildersleeve and was a resident of the Jefferson area most of her life, before moving to Niles eight years ago. She was marriage to Robert A. Gray, Sr. on October 22, 1938 in Jefferson. Mrs. Gray drove a school bus for the New Lyme Schools, worked at White's Bakery and worked at area laundromats.
She was a member of the Covenant Assembly of God Church in Jefferson, but for the past eight years attended the First Assembly of God Church in Girard. For the past four years she attended the Heavenly Helpers Adult Day Care Center in Girard. She enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, and bowling.
Survivors include four children, Mattie Ellen (James) Giddings of Niles, Robert A. (Judy) Gray, Jr. of Huntington, MD, John H. (Donna) Gray of Ashtabula, and Edward W. (Linda) Gray of Saybrook Twp.; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Kenneth Gildersleeve of Chesterland; and a sister, Marha Rideout of Wixom, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert in 1998; a grandson, Lawrence Giddings; brothers, Fred, Robert, John, and Samuel Gildersleeve; and sisters, Alice Gnau, Divona Bonnie Gildersleeve, Louise McDaniel, Isabella DeSimo, Verna Nelson, and June Wetzig.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, at the Fleming Funeral Home, Inc., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with Pastor John Musgrave of the First Assembly of God Church officiating.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be directed to the First Assembly of God Church Memorial Fund, 6779 Belmont Ave., Girard, OH 44420. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
Edward S. Rutkowski
ERIE - Edward S. Rutkowski, 43, of Lakeside Drive, Lawrence Park, Erie, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at the Hamot Medical Center.
Born April 24, 1958, in Erie, he was the son of Edward A. and Cecilia (Czulewicz) Rutkowski.
A 1976 Cathedral Prep graduate, he went on to graduate from Gannon University.
Mr. Rutkowski had been a sales manage at Allied Resinous Product, Conneaut, Ohio, for 15 years, and for the past two years was a sales engineer at C&J Industries, Meadville.
Survivors include his parents; his wife of nine years, Wendy Lee (Headley); two sons, Robby and Bradley, at home; a brother, Mark J. of Erie; and three sisters, Mary Jo Rutkowski of Erie, Rebecca Flahart of Bethlehem, Pa.; and Carol Cornman of Vienna, Va.
Service is 10:15 a.m. Monday at the A. Brugger & Sons Funeral Home, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 E. 38th St., Erie, followed by a funeral mass at St. Peter Cathedral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the children's education.
GERALD G. LUDWIG
HILLSBORO, Tenn. -- Gerald Gene Ludwig, age 78, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, died peacefully Monday, April 3, 2006, in his home.
Born October 17, 1927, in Ceres, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Gerald Ludwig and Irene Lloyd, and was a Veteran, serving in Guam. Prior to his military service, he was a Merchant Marine.
Mr. Ludwig worked on the Nickel Plate Railroad, and retired from Emco Wheaton in Conneaut, Ohio.
After retirement, he enjoyed traveling and restoring antiques.
Survivors include his brother, Sheldon of Ashtabula; daughters, Sandy Calaway of Warsaw, Indiana, and Carol Grindstaff of Monrovia, Indiana; son, Dennis Ludwig of Willoughby, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and Julia Ludwig.
At Mr. Ludwig's request, no funeral service will be observed.
Hazel G. McGinnis
ALIQUIPPA, Pa. - Hazel G. McGinnis, 77, formerly of Kingsville, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, Pa., where a funeral service will be held that evening at 8 p.m.

ERIE, Pa. - Carolyn S. Long, 65, of North Ridge Road, died Friday April 11, 2003 at Hamot Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio.
DONNA R. WALLIS
WEST SPRINGFIELD, PA - A memorial service for Donna R. Wallis, 98, of West Springfield, PA, will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, June 20, at the Federated Church, 11995 E. Main St., East Springfield, PA, with the Rev. Ed Huntley officiating.
The committal service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, in East Springfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallis died May 26, 2003, in Erie, PA.
The Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
Irma Fritzges
GIRARD, PA - Irma Fritzges, 90, of Girard, PA, died Monday, June 16, 2003.
There will be a Memorial Service at 7p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2003 at the Federated Church in East Springfield, PA.
Pastor Donald Swonger will officiate.
Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery.
No visitation will be observed.
The Jean Evans Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, PA is handling the arrangements.
