COLUMBIA - Eugene M. Baker, 78, of Columbia, died Thursday at his home.
The service and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The Cremation Direct Service of the John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 902 Mount Rose Ave., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Baker was born June 27, 1920, in Neodesha, Kan. He was the son of the late Orville and Mary (Prall) Baker.
He was a jeweler and a U.S. Army veteran.
Chad L. Brackett Sr.
RED LION - Chad L. Brackett Sr., 37, of Red Lion, died at 9:13 a.m. Friday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Tammy L. (Diehl) Brackett.

Clarence W. Cashour III

GLEN ROCK - Clarence W. "Bill" Cashour III, 61, of Glen Rock, died at 6:49 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret L. (Lloyd) Cashour. The couple observed their 27th wedding anniversary June 17.
A prayer service will be 3 p.m. Monday at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. Viewings will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
Mr. Cashour was born April 29, 1937, in Baltimore. He was the son of the late Mary J. (Lyons) and Clarence W. Cashour Jr.
He was a senior personnel management specialist at Social Security Administration in Baltimore, retiring in 1984 after 33 years of service. After retirement, he was assistant vice president and branch manager at York Federal on Bannister Street in York, and the Shrewsbury Branch until 1992. He was treasurer and served on the board of directors at York Little Theatre for many years, where he was also a volunteer. He organized and coordinated many charitable events for the Theatre and York Little Theatre Children's Centre. He was a member of the Optimist Club and Kiwanis Club, both in Shrewsbury, and Pikesville Jaycees in Pikesville, Md.
Mr. Cashour also is survived by three sons, Charles L. Cashour of Baltimore, and Clarence W. Cashour IV and James J. Cashour, both of York; a granddaughter; and a sister, Mary Lou Cashour-Arbin of Bowie, Md.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Michael Bahn, Deacon of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom.

Lester L. Crabbs

YORK SPRINGS - Lester L. "Ted" Crabbs, 93, of Whispering Pines in York Springs, formerly of McSherrystown, died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Isabel (Smith) Crabbs.
The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg. Viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Crabbs was born July 5, 1905, in Oxford Township. He was the son of the late Maurice F. and Mary (Becker) Crabbs.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1970, after 49 years of service. He was a member of Lohr's Memorial United Methodist Church in Hanover, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elk 763 in Hanover, McSherrystown Home Association, McSherrystown Fish and Game Association, Hanover Republican Club and Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees Local 03139, and life member of Gettysburg Eagles Aerie 1562, Hanover Moose Lodge 227 and New Oxford Social and Athletic Club.
Mr. Crabbs is survived by a granddaughter, Sharron Pate of Hanover; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Clinton Crabbs of New Oxford and Richard Crabbs of Silver Springs, Fla.; and two sisters, Berneda Sipe of Gettysburg and Mary Louise Myers of Hanover. Mr. Crabbs was preceded in death by two sons, Lester C. Crabbs and Donald Crabbs.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. C. Leroy Doverspike.

Dorothy M. Keener

YORK - Dorothy May (Klingaman) Keener, 89, of York, died at 4:35 p.m. Thursday at Rest Haven-York. She was the wife of the late Melvin Roy Keener.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Prospect Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Keener was born Nov. 14, 1909, in Lemasters. She was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Cora May (Bankes) Klingaman.
She was a school teacher for York City School District, retiring in 1971 after 40 years of service. She was a member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ and its church school, College Club of York and York Audubon Society. She was a graduate of William Penn High School, Millersville College and University of New York, where she received her master's degree. She had also attended University of Pittsburgh, where she received special education credits.
Mrs. Keener is survived by three brothers, Eddie Klingaman and Albert Klingaman, both of York, and Howard Klingaman of Jacobus; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. F. Christopher Anderson.

Hazel L. Klinefelter
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Hazel L. (Mundis) Klinefelter, 92, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Dallastown, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday at Stratford Court of Palm Harbor Nursing Home in Palm Harbor, Fla. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Klinefelter.

Mitchell R. Koros
American Can Co. retiree
AIRVILLE - Mitchell R. Koros, 67, of Airville, died at 3:45 a.m. Friday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Lorraine C. (Gentile) Koros. The couple observed their 41st wedding anniversary Nov. 2.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Harkins Funeral Home Inc., 600 Main St., Delta.
Mr. Koros was born Dec. 7, 1931, in Baltimore. He was the son of the late Stanley and Veronica (Drzewiecka) Koros.
He was a seamer mechanic at the former American Can Co. in Baltimore, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of Slate Ridge Post 182 American Legion in Whiteford, Md. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Koros also is survived by a son, Michael R. Koros of Airville; and a brother, Francis J. Koros of Baltimore.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ronald W. Joynes, pastor of Mount Hope United Methodist Church in Quarryville.

Clarence E. Miller

ORIOLE - Clarence E. Miller, 93, formerly of Oriole, died Wednesday at Manor Care Health Services in Williamsport. He was the husband of the late Theda (Bernstine) Miller.
The service will be at the convenience of the family. The Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller was born Dec. 1, 1905, in Mexico. He was the son of the late Elmer Edgar and Sarah (Miller) Miller.
He owned and operated a health food store at Kingston Corners in Kingston, worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad for 30 years, having installed the communications equipment between Harrisburg and Philadelphia, and installed the telephone system in Trout Run in the 1920s. He was a member of William S. Snyder Lodge 756, Free and Accepted Masons in Harrisburg.
Mr. Miller is survived by a son, James L. Miller of New Kingstown; a daughter, Joanne L. Stover of York; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Clair E. Mundis

NEW PARK - Clair E. Mundis, 82, of New Park, died at 10:53 a.m. Wednesday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Janet E. (Libhart) Mundis. The couple observed their 62nd wedding anniversary July 18.
The service will be 2 p.m. today at the Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Lower Windsor Township. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Mundis was born Dec. 11, 1916, in Winterstown. He was the son of the late W. Elmer and Minnie (Sechrist) Mundis.
He was a self-employed farmer. He retired in 1979 from Flinchbaugh Products in York, and had also worked at Red Lion Table Co. and Lion's Metal in York.
Mr. Mundis also is survived by a son, Dale E. Mundis of Winterstown; five daughters, Doris E. Kline of York, Nancy L. Watson and Kay M. Little, both of Stewartstown, Norma Jean Mundis of Selinsgrove and Linda A. Ring of Felton; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Emerson Mundis of Red Lion; a sister, Pauline Dettinger of Springvale; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ronald B. Schmuck, pastor of Red Lion Bible Church.
