YORK - Sherry Etta Murray, 53, of York, died at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday at 1010 S. Pine St.
The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 629 S. Pershing Ave., York. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The Boulding Mortuary Inc., Boundary and Cleveland avenues, York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Murray was born June 19, 1945, in York. She was the daughter of Bessie L. Miller, and step-daughter of Oscar Miller, both of York.
She was a seamstress at Colebrook-Terry for 20 years. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and its choir and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 297.
Mrs. Murray also is survived by three sons, Donald C. Murray Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Matthew F. Murray of Fort Campbell, Ky., and Robert S. Murray of York; a daughter, Shanett D. Murray of York; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel Moon Jr. and Rodney B. Moon, both of York, and Raymond Moon of Dover; two sisters, Marcia A. Long of Philadelphia and Stephanie A. Bland of Las Vegas; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dr. Carl Easley.
Howard E. Resh

NEW OXFORD - Howard E. Resh, 67, of 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, formerly of 11 York St., Hanover, died Friday at the Brethren Home Community.
The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. Viewing will be noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Resh was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Howard C. and Effie (Anderson) Resh.
He owned and operated Resh's Garage on Third Street in Hanover. He was a graduate of Hanover High School.
Mr. Resh is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Reynolds of Hanover and Nadine Murphy of Gettysburg.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Bruce P. Bouchard.
Minnie D. Stead
YORK - Minnie D. (Tate) Stead, 97, of York, died at 5:12 p.m. Friday at her home. She was the wife of the late L. Lawrence Stead.
The Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete.
John D. Wimer
Shadowfax Day Program employee
YORK - John D. Wimer, 61, of Springettsbury Township, died at 8 a.m. Thursday at his home.
The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the William E. Little Funeral Home Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wimer was born Aug. 10, 1937, in Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Charles A. and Agnes A. (Fox) Wimer.
He worked at the Shadowfax Day Program, and attended Bible Baptist Church.
Mr. Wimer is survived by seven sisters, Burnace Goeree of Dover, Rosie Sherman of York Springs, Betty McNaughton of Landisburg, Doris Garber of Shermansdale, and Waneda Fleshman, Patsy O'Dell and Constance Wimer, all of Anderson, S.C.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kevin E. Trout of Bible Baptist Church.
Frances A. Bose
Born in Jackson Township
YORK - Frances Arlene (Heilman) Bose, 94, of York, died at 2:16 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lewis S. Bose.
Following cremation, a visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. May 8 at her home, 1004 S. Pine St., York. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bose was born March 28, 1905, in Jackson Township. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Sara Ellen (Alwine) Heilman.
She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church in York and an animal caregiver.
Mrs. Bose is survived by two sons, Charles L. Bose of Pembrook Pines, Fla., and Thomas H. Smith of Hanover; a daughter, Betty Lou Bose of York; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Virginia T. Brown

DALLASTOWN - Virginia T. Brown, 82, of Dallastown, died at 7:25 a.m. Saturday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph W. Brown.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1873 New Fairview Church Road, York. Burial will be in New Fairview Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Eva (Via) Thacker.
She was a weaver and inspector at Tioga Textiles Co. in York. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in York.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Knaub of York and Miami; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Sero of Petersburg, Va.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Donald Myers.
Ann N. Crumbling
CAMP HILL - Ann N. Crumbling, 82, of Camp Hill, died Thursday at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. She was the wife of the late John Crumbling.

Marian E. Fohringer
Messiah College retiree
MECHANICSBURG - Marian Elizabeth (Miller) Fohringer, 77, of Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg, died Saturday evening at the village. She was the wife of the late Ray D. Fohringer.
The service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah Village Chapel in Mechanicsburg. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mill Hall. Viewing will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the village chapel. The Cocklin Funeral Home Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fohringer was born Dec. 8, 1921, in Mill Hall. She was the daughter of the late Henry S. and Sara N. Niesley.
She retired from Messiah College in Grantham, where she was a food service employee. She was a member of Grantham Brethren in Christ Church and Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Church, and life member of Messiah Village Auxiliary.
Mrs. Fohringer is survived by two sons, Ray D. Fohringer Jr. of New Kingston and Gary L. Fohringer of Annville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry N. Miller of Englewood, Ohio; and two sisters, Anna Verle Miller of Messiah Village and Esther M. Gregg of Lake Forest, Calif.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard Long.

H. Ray Hunt

EAST BERLIN - H. Ray Hunt, 62, of 104 Conewago Drive, East Berlin, died Saturday at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Deloris A. (Johnson) Hunt.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church, 760 Germany Road, East Berlin. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. The Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hunt was born Feb. 22, 1937, in Leewood, W.Va. He was the son of the late Charles R. and Opal I. (Davis) Hunt.
He retired from United Defense on March 1 after 22 years of service. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and active in the mission phase of the church. He was a coach for the East Berlin Pony League.
Mr. Hunt also is survived by a son, Rusty E. Hunt of East Berlin; two daughters, Sherry L. Copenhaver and Kimberly A. Hunt, both of East Berlin; two foster sons, Timothy R. Johnson of East Berlin and Jackie R. Johnson of California; a foster daughter, Debra L. Topper of East Berlin; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Hunt of Sissonville, W.Va., Rommie Hunt of Gettysburg, William Hunt of Hanover and Rocky Hunt of York Haven; and four sisters, Patsy Hollis of Belle, W.Va., Brenda Hudson of Jacksonville, Fla., Sharon Dahlin of Pratt, W.Va., and Deloris Hudson of Belle.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Charles D. Diegel.

Mildred E. Markey

DALLASTOWN - Mildred E. Markey, 73, of Dallastown, died at 9:43 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Clayton M. Markey.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. A graveside service will be private in Mount Rose Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
Mrs. Markey was born March 13, 1926, in Dallastown. She was the daughter of the late Curvin A. and Sara E. (Lutz) Lentz.
She was an office worker, having worked at McCrory Co. in York for 10 years and Autokraft Box Co. in Red Lion for 10 years. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown and Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 605 in Dallastown.
Mrs. Markey also is survived by a son, Michael A. Markey of Dallastown; a daughter, Sandra A. Wolf of York; a grandchild; and a sister, Jean Saam of Binghamton, N.Y.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Thomas C. Webb.
