Frances C. Coulson
Frances C. Coulson, 82, of McSherrystown, died Friday, April 30, in Gettysburg Hospital.
Born Oct. 17, 1916 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Anna M. Fleshman Fuhrman.
Her husband, Robert L. Coulson, died in 1993.
She was the former co-owner and operator of the Coulson Heel Company until her retirement in 1981.
She is survived by two daughters, Lieutenant Colonel Carla K. Coulson of Arlington, Va., and Kitty May Clouse of Orrtanna and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, May 10, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, with Deacon Joseph F. Lawrence officiating.
A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, at St. Joseph Village, 50 Academy St., McSherrystown in the chapel with Father Andre Meluskey as celebrant.
The family will receive friends in the Village Social Hall following Mass.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Village, 50 Academy St., McSherrystown, PA 17344 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Hanover.
Myrtle L. Kuhn
Myrtle L. Kuhn, 71, of Hanover, died Wednesday, May 5, in Hanover Hospital.
Born Feb. 13, 1928 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Laura S. Foltz Wilson.
She was the wife of the late Leo Kuhn.
Mrs. Kuhn worked at Eddie's Dry Cleaning for years before her retirement.
She is survived by one son, Robert L. Wilson of Hanover; one daughter, Janet L. Kuhn of Hanover; one brother, Harvey Wilson of Hanover; and three sisters, Viola Musselman, Alice Wilson, and Lobelle Weese, all of Hanover.
She was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., Hanover.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Mildred F. Roberts
Mildred F. "Millie" Roberts, 86, formerly of Littlestown and Hanover, died Jan. 7 at the Freedom Village Nursing Center, Bradenton, Fla.
She was the widow of Harold S. Roberts, who died Aug. 1, 1992.
Mrs. Roberts had owned and operated Millie's Beauty Shop in Littlestown for many years.
She was member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Littlestown.
She is survived by one daughter, Jerrie Robert Humphrey of Altanta, Ga.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Brenner of Bradenton, Fla. and Esther Orndorff of Palmetto, Fla.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, with her pastor, the Rev. Timothy J. Kielley, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bradenton Hospice House, Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238.

Viola D. Markle
Viola D. Markle, 85, of Hanover, died Friday, Oct. 1 at Hanover Hospital.
Born April 27, 1914 in Clear Springs, Md., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Gusford Gordon.
She was the wife of Emory H. Markle for 61 years.
Mrs. Markle was a graduate of Chambersburg High School and Chambersburg Business School.
She was a department head for the Stanley Company in Chambersburg for a number of years.
Mrs. Markle was a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hanover, and a member and past president of the Penn Township Lioness Club.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Howard L. Markle of Hanover; two grandsons; and one brother, Raymond Gordon of Hagerstown, Md.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4, at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 129 Charles St., Hanover, with her pastor, the Rev. Eric B. Stenman officiating.
Interment will be in Wolf Cemetery, York.
Friends may call at the church Monday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Robert S. Mitchell
Robert S. "Bobby" "Mitch" Mitchell Sr., 65, of New York, died Monday, Sept. 27, at his home.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late William Curry and Anna Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell was a maintenance supervisor for Temco Service Industries, New York.
He was a graduate of Chester High School.
Mr. Mitchell was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Local Union 32B-J, New York.
He is survived by two sons, Robert S. Mitchell of Chester and Ryan Mitchell of Somerset, N.J.; four daughters, Renee Mackey of Los Angeles, Calif., Ruth Glascoe of Chester, Ronette Moon of Philadelphia, and Rosalind Mitchell of Boothwyn; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a cousin, Mary Catherine Patrick of Gettysburg; and his former wife, Barbara Mitchell-Pyle of Chester.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Catherine Mitchell Ivey and his aunt, Ruth Mitchell, both of whom raised him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m. at Grace Community United Methodist Church, 1213 Central Ave., Chester. Interment will be in Haven Memorial Cemetery, Chester Township.
Friends may call at the church Saturday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family will assemble at 201 W. Mowry St., Chester.
Earl L. Foster Funeral Home, 1100 Kerlin St., Chester, is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond F. Sheely
Raymond F. Sheely, M.D., 87, 127 West Lincoln Ave., Gettysburg, died Friday, Oct. 2, at Lutheran Retirement Village.
Funeral arrangements, through Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, are incomplete.
Joy E. Staub
Joy E. Staub, 42, of 513 Stock St., Hanover, died suddenly Friday, Oct. 1, at her home.
Born July 18, 1957 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Lorraine D. Strickler Staub of Spring Grove and Clair J. Staub of New Oxford.
Ms. Staub graduated from New Oxford High School.
She attended Penn State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in mining engineering and then attended York College earning a degree in accounting.
She was currently employed as an accountant at Hanover Direct.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sisters, Kay S. Glenn of Richmond, Va., and Kim M. Staub of Harrisburg; and maternal grandmother, Effie Bish Strickler of Hanover.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover, with the Rev. Dr. Douglas E. Johnson, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, York Street, Hanover, officiating.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m.
