ANNE V. PULEO, 67
Anne V. Puleo, 67, of 207 W. 4th St., Oil City, died at 1:10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, in Northwest Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born June 12, 1931, in Titusville to the late Walter and Hazel Fish Bodamer.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Titusville.
On Nov. 25, 1954, in St. Titus Church, she was marriage to C. Frank Puleo. He preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1971.
Mrs. Puleo was retired from Seneca Printing. Prior to that, she had been employed by Venango Newspapers and St. Stephen's School, where she worked as a teacher's aide.
A member of St. Stephen's Church, she belonged to the rosary society and was a Eucharistic minister. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and at one time helped out at community services.
Survivors include the following sons and their spouses, Carl Frank Jr. and Charlene Puleo of Westminster, Md., Christopher Puleo of Tampa, Fla., Paul and Laurie Puleo of New Castle and Robert and Kathleen Puleo of Oil City; nine grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Dibble of Titusville; three brothers, Walter "Bud" Bodamer, Paul Bodamer and Willard "Butch" Bodamer, all of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Puleo was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Bodamer, Beverly Barker and Catherine Fyock.
Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Second Century Fund or to St. Stephen's Church.

GUY RAYMOND BELL, 49
Guy Raymond Bell, 49, Leavenworth, Kan., died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in Leavenworth Memorial Hospital following a two-year battle with cancer.
Mr. Bell was born Nov. 7, 1949, in Pennsylvania to the late Jack and Irene Bell.
He was marriage to the former Carol Ann Vanderhoof. She survives.
Mr. Bell was raised on Maple Hill in the Townville-Guys Mills area.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
For many years, Mr. Bell was a surveyor for John West Engineering of Hobbs, N.M. While in Hobbs, he coached men's softball teams.
He was a member of Nazarene Church of Hobbs.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Crystal Beck of Centerville; a sister, Ruth Ann "Sandy" Webb of Monument, N.M.; seven grandsons; three nieces; a nephew; and his companion, Abby Cline and her children, Chris and Loretta, of Leavenworth.
A sister, Ina Westcoat, died previously.
A memorial service with full military honors will be conducted at Leavenworth at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made through the Veterans Administration Center, Leavenworth, 66048.

GEORGE D. MATTESON
George D. Matteson of Centerville died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at his residence.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced.

MAXINE M. MORRIS, 76
Maxine M. Morris, 76, of 44848 Mageetown Road, Centerville, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, in Corry Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Morris was born July 8, 1923, in Rome Township, Crawford County, to the late Martin and Cora Heliker.
She marriage Fred H. Morris on Aug. 4, 1949, at Panama, N.Y. He died May 30, 1992.
Mrs. Morris was raised and educated in the Spartansburg area, graduating from Sparta High School.
Over the years, her time was spent caring for her family and helping her husband on the family dairy farm.
Mrs. Morris attended Rometown Community Church.
Surviving are: a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Bill Swantek of Buells Corners; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Andrew T. Morris of Centerville and William H. and Peggy Morris of Oil City; three step-sons and two step-daughters-in-law, Paul W. and Ruth Morris of Tidioute, Kirk R. and Mary Morris of Warren and Dennis C. "Randy" Morris of Milford, Conn.; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Cleo Woodward of Erie, Enza Terrill of Corry and Kate and David Pring of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Lee Heliker, Martin Heliker Jr. and Milton Heliker, died previously.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg.
Memorials may be made to Rometown Community Church, RD 2, Spartansburg, 16434.

JON AVERY TILLOTSON, 30
Jon Avery Tillotson, 30, of 209 Spring St., Meadville, died at Meadville Medical Center on Monday, Nov. 8, 1999.
Mr. Tillotson was born Oct. 25, 1969, at Meadville to John Robert Tillotson and Rosemary Louise Cogley.
He was employed by Vallonia Industries of Meadville. A graduate of Maplewood High School in 1989, Mr. Tillotson was a member of the National Guard from July 1988 to February 1997.
Mr. Tillotson was a member of New Richmond United Methodist Church.
He attended the Oasis Club and CHAPS, and his hobbies included hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his father of Batavia, N.Y.; his mother and step-father, Rosemary and Bruce Dean of Little Cooley; a sister and her husband, , Amy and Douglas Louise Beck of Meadville; three step-sisters, Debbie, Beckie and April; a step-brother, Don Dean of Little Cooley; his maternal grandmother, Mary Brooks Cogley of Little Cooley; his paternal grandmother, Waunetta Landas of Spartansburg; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Willard Cogley.
Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery, Geneva.
Memorials may be made to the Dean family "in memory of Jon."

FRANK E. PAPP, 86
Frank E. Papp, 86, of 227 Water St., Billie Brown Building, died Friday, May 26, 2000, at 8:35 p.m. at his residence.
Mr. Papp was born Nov. 14, 1913, at LeRoy, N.Y., to the late Joseph and Julia Batta Papp.
He marriage the former Edith H. Fitzke on Sept. 10, 1937, at LeRoy.
Mr. Papp was a World War II veteran of the Army. He entered the service Feb. 5, 1944, at New Cumberland and was honorably discharged Oct. 23, 1945, at Camp Planche, La., with the rank of technician fourth grade.
He was employed by Trans American Freight Line for 35 years as a driver, mechanic and garage foreman until he retired in 1972.
Mr. Papp was a member of Bruce Shorts Post 5958 Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a former member of the American Legion and former commodore of Preque Isle Boating Association.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Diane Avallone of Davie, Fla., Frank D. Papp and his wife, Elke, of Endeavor, and Andrew E. Papp of Berea, Ohio; five grandchildren; a sister, Esther Flynn of Rochester, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Papp's granddaughter, Constanza Papp; two brothers, Joseph Papp and Alexander Papp; a half-brother, Steve Loksa; and a half-sister, Ellen Reamer, died previously.
No public calling hours will be observed.
A private funeral for the family will be conducted this morning by Rev. Craig Cashdollar, pastor of Endeavor Presbyterian Church.
Interment will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.

JOSEPH T. KURTIC, 71
Joseph T. Kurtic, 71, of 3005 State St., Erie, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, in St. Vincent Health Center, Erie.
Mr. Kurtic was born Aug. 6, 1929, at Titusville to the late Jacob and Mary Sajen Kurtic.
A 1947 alumnus of Titusville High School, he graduated from Erie Business Center. He retired in 1991 from Erie Forge and Steel after 27 years employed at the shop's storeroom.
Mr. Kurtic was a member of Elmwood Presbyterian Church and Lakeside Golf Course.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed studying his Croatian heritage.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Shape Kurtic; a sister, Ann Markovich of Carey, N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Martin and Marilyn Kurtic of Sun City Center, Fla.; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
Friends may call today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, West 25th and Sassafras streets, Erie, where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Harry Johns.
There also will be a service Wednesday at 1 p.m. in St. Catharine's Cemetery chapel.
Memorials may be made to City Mission New Life Center, 1023 French St., Erie, 16501.

LOIS L. BANCROFT, 83
Lois L. Bancroft, 83, of 20155 Bancroft Road, Centerville, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, in Meadville Medical Center.
Mrs. Bancroft was born Aug. 21, 1917, at Lake Pleasant to Harry H. Graham and Marian Loop.
She marriage George W. Bancroft, who survives, on Jan. 7, 1939.
Mrs. Bancroft had been a homemaker.
For more than 50 years, she served as judge of elections at Athens Township.
Mrs. Bancroft was a member of Little Cooley United Methodist Church and had been president of its United Methodist Women's group.
Survivors include: three sons and their wives, George E. and Roberta Bancroft of Centerville, Keithe and Erna Bancroft of Centerville and Larrie and Carol Bancroft of Willoughby, Ohio; a daughter and her husband, Bonnie and Robert Bradish of Cambridge Springs; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ila Long of Corry; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Paul Graham, died previously.
Friends were received Sunday at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, Townville.
The funeral was conducted Monday in Little Cooley United Methodist Church by Sara Roncolato, pastor.
Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Little Cooley United Methodist Church.

THEODORE 'TED' FEEVEY, 63
Theodore "Ted" Feevey, 63, of Titusville, RD 4, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at 6:55 a.m. in Beverly Healthcare-Titusville, where he had been a patient since Aug. 18, 1999.
He was a former Zelienople resident.
Mr. Feevey was born May 10, 1937, at Monongahela to the late Theodore and Catherine Kubassy Feevey.
He marriage the former Carol G. Ziegler, who survives, on June 27, 1957, at Harmony.
Mr. Feevey had been self-employed as a dairy farmer.
Survivors include: a daughter and her husband, Cristi and Richard Kirkwood of Edgewater, Md.; a son, David A. Feevey of Townville; two granddaughters, Alexa Kirkwood and Heather Kirkwood of Edgewater; a sister, Mary Gladwin of Morgantown, W.Va.; a brother, Larry Feevey of Slippery Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Dillon Vroman, retired minister.
Interment will be in Chapmanville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Chapmanville Community Church, RD 4, Titusville; or the charity of one's choice.

MARY E.HUBERT,85
Mary E. Hubert, 85, of 41150 Mageetown Road, Centerville, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Hubert was born May 23, 1915, at Franklin to the late William A. and Florence Tolles Baker.
She marriage Edward M. "Kalamazoo" Hubert on Nov. 20, 1937, in St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He died July 15, 1963.
Mrs. Hubert graduated from Oil City High School.
She had been employed at the former W.T. Grant Co. and Cross Creek Resort.
Mrs. Hubert enjoyed flower gardening, puzzles, cooking and homemaking.
Survivors include: a daughter and her husband, Kay L. and Richard Seeley of Titusville, RD 2; a son and his wife, Martin E. and Virginia Hubert of Centerville; two grandsons and their wives, Martin Jr. and Bonnie Hubert of Titusville and Forrest and Cindi Hubert of Westfield, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Anita Mydock of Leechburg; six great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters, a great-great-grandson; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Florence Minnick of Titusville; and many nieces and nephews.
A grandson, Richard Seeley Jr.; a step-son, Thomas Eugene Hubert; two sisters, Adelade McGinnet and Violet Pratt; and three brothers, Chester Baker, Ira "Bud" Baker and Richard Baker, died previously.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Pastor Gary Kinnear of Breedtown Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Titusville Area Hospital's home health care department, 406 W. Oak St.; or Centerville Volunteer Fire Department, Centerville, 16404.
