He is the loving husband of 54 Years to Clara E. Zearfoss (Nee Nicholson); father of Christopher E. Zearfoss, William L. Zearfoss and his wife Michelle, Mary K. Bennett and Jeanne M. Zearfoss; beloved Pee-Pop of Michael and Timothy Bennett, Brittney and Luke Zearfoss; Brother of Dorothy Hengst.

Mr. Zearfoss was a 1941 Graduate of Olney High School and a former employee of thirty years with Philco and six years with Glenco Refrigeration.

Relatives and friends were invited to call Monday, August 19, 2002, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Resurrection Of Our Lord R. C. Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia. Relatives and friends were invited to his funeral mass Monday, August 19, 2002, at 10:30 A.M. at Resurrection Of Our Lord R. C. Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville followed the funeral mass.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to Resurrection Of Our Lord R. C. Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. 19111.

Ruth B. Alexander

She is the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Samuel Alexander; mother of Gary A. Alexander and his wife Denise and the late Robert S. Alexander; grandmother of Elizabeth, Samantha and Kathleen Alexander.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing Friday, August 20, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and to her funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Grove United Methodist Church, 34 North York Road (at Church Rd.) in Willow Grove. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Feasterville followed the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Robert S. Alexander Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o the Upper Moreland Booster Club, 300 Terwood Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

Elizabeth D. Goehler

Elizabeth D. She is the beloved wife of the late George O. “Pete” Goehler. Mother of George J. Goehler and his wife Judy, Gordon Goehler and his wife Cathie and Robert Goehler and his wife Bette. Grandmother of Cheryl, Geoffrey, April, Gregg A., Heidi and the late Gregg R. Goehler. Sister of Adelaide Lindenmuth and her husband John. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker during her working years. She is formerly of 559 E. Sanger Street and is a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing Friday, August 20, 2004, from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. and to her funeral service at 1:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, 2156 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn followed the funeral service.

Robert E. Hay

August 24, 1934 - August 17, 2004

He is the beloved husband of Constance M. Hay;

father of Robert T., Patricia-Ann and David J. Hay and his wife Christina; grandfather of D.J., Andrew and Amanda Hay; brother of Malcolm T. Hay.

Robert worked in electronics during his time in the Navy,

after his retirement from the Navy he worked in electronics and as an X-ray technician. He was a member of Valley Forge Model Ship Association and a past president of Delaware Valley R/C Model Power Boat Club.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewings Thursday, August 19, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday, August 20, 2004, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and to his funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, 2156 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn followed the funeral service.

Dr. Vernon R. Morris, Sr. - "Barney"

He is the beloved husband of 57 years to Jeanne (nee Kriebel) Morris; Father of Vernon R. Morris Jr. M.D.; Wayne M. Morris O.D. and Lee W. Morris; Grandfather of Vernon R. III, Jonathan, Brandon and the late Kelly Morris; Brother of William S. Morris.

Barney was a Graduate of Simon Gratz High School in 1939; West Chester State Teachers College in 1950 for his Bachelor degree; Temple University in 1951 for his Masters Degree and Lehigh University in 1968 for his Doctorate. He went on to teach for several years in Bristol Township, before joining Upper Moreland School District where he retired after 29 years as Assistant Superintendent. Mr. Morris liked to travel with his family, driving throughout the United States and Canada, strengthening his family’s bond.

He was a member of Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System and Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.

Relatives and friends were invited to his funeral service Saturday, August 21, 2004, at 11:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove where friends were invited to call after 10:00 A.M.. Interment was held privately.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1 Plymouth Meeting Mall Suite 520, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

William R. Oswald - "Ozzie"

Andrew was a retiree of Septa after forty-three years.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing Thursday, August 5, 2004, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove and to his funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Of The Cross R. C. Church, 2840 Woodland Road, Roslyn. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Hulmeville Road, Bensalem followed the funeral mass.

Diane M. Hollenden

Hollenden; mother of Todd Shoaff and his wife Candace; Kevin and Scott Shoaff, Joe Hollenden and his wife Linda, Jim Hollenden and his wife Amy and Patricia Griffin and her husband Ed; grandmother of Devon Hollenden, Morgan Shoaff, Nolan Hollenden, Kelly Griffin, Aaron Hollenden, Seth Hollenden, Nick Griffin, Sam Hollenden and Alex Shoaff; sister of Gail Motta and her husband Michael and Alfred Campion and his wife Arlene. She is the daughter of Celia Campion and the late Alfred Campion.

Diane received her BA from West Virginia University and her MBA from Beaver College. Mrs. Hollenden taught for 25 years at Upper Moreland High School before retirement. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Murrells Inlet, SC and a Secretary of the Garden Club in Surfside Beach, SC. Mrs. Hollenden was an avid Bridge Player.

Relatives and friends were invited to call Friday, August 23, 2002, from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove and Saturday, August 24, 2002, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home. Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral mass Saturday, August 24, 2002, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph’s R. C. Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue, Warrington. Interment at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont followed the funeral mass.
