She is the beloved wife of the late Erwin Beckert; mother of Anna Beckert, Irma Skrapits and her husband John and Theodor Beckert and his wife Maria; grandmother of Erwin Beckert and his wife Laura, Marcos Beckert and his wife Elizabeth and Paul Beckert and his wife Robyn. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
Rosa was born and raised in Bietigheim, Baden, Germany and emigrated to the United States after World War II. She worked as a seamstress for many years at Soowal Knitting Mill at Second Street and Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Monday, August 26, 2002, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge. Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral mass Monday, August 26, 2002, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia. Interment at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge followed the funeral mass.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing Friday, August 27, 2004, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. and to her funeral service on Saturday, August 28, 2004 from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 6902 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Interment at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge followed the funeral service.

Helen was a waitress during her working career. She was formerly of Holy Redeemer Village and was a volunteer at Holy Redeemer Hospital.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing Wednesday, September 1, 2004, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and to her funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Hilary of Poitiers R.C. Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal. Interment at New Cathedral Cemetery, 2nd and Butler Streets, Philadelphia followed the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers mass cards would be preferred.

Relatives and friends were invited to her graveside service Monday, August 30, 2004, at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Feasterville.

Alexander was born in Scotland in 1912 and emigrated to the United States in 1924. He and a partner founded and operated the Atlantic Refrigeration Equipment Company at 529 E. Thompson Street in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia until his retirement when he sold the business to his son.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Wednesday, August 28, 2002, from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. at Bethany United Church of Christ, 6545 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Rev. Bogdan was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the former pastor of the Highway Tabernacle Church in Philadelphia for over twenty years. He also served congregations in Maryland and in Bristol, Pa.

She was a member of the Crescentville Baptist Church and a former resident of the 300 block of E. Cheltenham Avenue.
