Following cremation, Burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery.

Born in Oil City Jan. 14, 1914, she was a daughter of Albert Eugene and Luella Vogus Barnes. She married Hamilton Longstreth May 17, 1947; he preceded her in Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">death Sept. 14, 1989.
She was a slider operator at Talon for 14 years.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching the birds in her bird feeder and all the animals that came into her yard, gardening, fishing with her husband and making homemade bread.
Survivors include a brother, George Barnes and his wife, Patty, of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">death by a sister, Nancy G. Snyder; a brother, Charles Barnes; her husband; and her parents.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.
The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ellen Rezek officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.

Katherine H. Giles

Mrs. Giles was a homemaker.
She was married May 20, 1943, to John D. Giles, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Diana Matt and her husband, Frank, of Sandy Lake; four sons, Ralph E. Giles and his fiancee, Cheryl, of Franklin, Melvin R. Giles of Franklin, Ronnie J. Giles and his wife, Barbara, of Cochranton, and Donald R. Giles and his wife, Robin, of Cochranton; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
