(Leslie) Guyer of Vandergrift; three sisters, Tracy D. Guyer of Hyde Park, Melissa R. Guyer of East Vandergrift and Carla D. (Gregg) Polka of Bell Twp.; paternal grandparents, John H. and Madeline Libengood of Bell Twp.; 4 nephews; and 7 nieces.

He was a volunteer at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights, and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed running and staying in excellent condition. He also enjoyed reading.

Born April 22, 1925, in Brenizer, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Nicholson) Morton.
Mrs. Shaffer was a homemaker, and had lived in Saltsburg for the last 44 years.
She was a member of the North Apollo Church of God, North Apollo.

She was an administrative assistant for Boyce Park Community College, and was a member of Mount Hope Community Presbyterian Church, Penn Hills.

Born July 10, 1935, in East Vandergrift, she was a daughter of Stella (Jaroszewski) Cieslak and the late Thaddeus Cieslak.
She lived in Vandergrift most of her life.
Prior to her retirement on July 1, 2004, she was employed by the Kiski Area School District as a secretary to the superintendent and a secretary to the school board.
She was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, where she served as a eucharistic minister. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 50 years, Louis P. Adams of Vandergrift; two daughters, Janice Adams (David) Allman of Allegheny Township, and Maureen D. Adams of Vandergrift; her mother, Stella Cieslak of East Vandergrift; three grandchildren, Alexandra L. Allman of Allegheny Township, and Joshua R. Pugliese of Vandergrift; and a sister, Eileen M. (Gus) Johnston of Vandergrift; and three nephews.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Wednesday, September 7, 2005, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 429 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., with her cousin, Father Thaddeus Maida, as celebrant. Father Michael Sciberras and Father Leo Rothrauff, O.S.B., will concelebrate. Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Vandergrift.

He was born July 10, 1929, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Gaston H. and Erma (LaBlanc) Mazeres, Sr. He had lived in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida, prior to moving to Gilpin Township in 1995.
He was employed by Gulf Oil Petroleum as a fuel delivery man, and also at Church's Chicken as a manager. He was also a cashier at Charter Oil Company, and also worked as a maintenance person for a golf course and nursing home in Jacksonville, Florida, retiring in 1995.
He was a United States Navy C.B. veteran, having served for 26 1/2 years, also serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the VFW in Jacksonville, Florida and Gulfport, Mississipppi. He also enjoyed fishing.

Mazeres of Gilpin Township; John (Mona) Mazeres, Tampa FL; Steven Mazeres, Ohio; and Robert Mazeres, Clarksville, TN; two daughters: Erma Swarez and Betty (Daniel) Groff, both of Mississippi. In addition, he is also survived by a stepdaughter, Helen (Dwayne) Holliman, Mooresburg, TN; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by a brother, Reggie (Jean) Mazeres, Cookville, TN; and three sisters: Nettie Boudreaux, Schriever, LA, Leverta Hinesbourg, Thibodaux, LA, and Wanda Ketter, Texas.
MR. MAZERES - Visitation and services will be private. Interment will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the CURRAN FUNERAL HOME, 300 Market Street, Leechburg.

SMELTZER - Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2004, in the CURRAN FUNERAL HOME, 701 Salt Street, Saltsburg, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 9, 2004, with the Reverend Silas West officiating. Interment will be in Vandergrift Cemetery, Vandergrift. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 615 S. Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601.
