Mrs. Knepshield lived in Ohio for 28 years before moving to Washington Township two years ago.
She was employed as a cafeteria aide with the Ashtabula School System, Ashtabula, OH, from which she retired in 1985.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Apollo, where she was active in many church functions. She was active in her church in Ohio as well. She also enjoyed knitting, crochetting, sewing, and reading.

(Jennifer) Knepshield of Kittanning; two daughters, Reverend Judith Carlim (Reverend Thomas) Ainsworth of Newton, NC, and Gretchen Anne (Ray) Klingensmith of Cameron, NC; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Virginia Louise Murray of Fredonia, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
MRS. KNEPSHIELD - Friends may call on Wednesday, November 10, 2004, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo, where funeral services will be held on Thursdsay, November 11, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Charles Horn will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift. She was an avid book reader and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II, as a second class seaman.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #54 of Niagara Falls. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and working on cars.
