Nancy E. (Davis) McMullen, age 68, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, in UPMC Montefiore. Born in West Deer Twp. on July 7, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George and Rachel (Reedy) Davis. Beloved wife for 42 years of Vern F. McMullen. Dear mother of Douglas McMullen of Indianapolis, Ind., and Daniel McMullen of Florence, Ky. Sister of Roma Park of Valencia and Jerry Davis of Wilkinsburg. Also survived by two grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter. Friends received Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Funeral Service Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Byron McElroy officiating. Interment private in Deer Creek Church Cemetery, West Deer Twp. The family suggests memorial donations to the American Heart Association or to her church, Deer Creek United Presbyterian Church, Bairdford Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044. Mrs. McMullen was a life member and a deacon of the Deer Creek U.P. Church, and a 1951 graduate of West Deer High School, where she was a majorette. She was also a matron driver of the Handicap Busline in the Fox Chapel School District and loved to play cards.

Melvin A. Temple, 94, of East McKeesport, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, in his home. He was born Feb. 1, 1907, in Franklin, Pa., a son of the late William and Sarah Cushman Temple. Mr. Temple was a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric, Trafford, and a member of the First United Methodist Church, East McKeesport, the North Versailles Senior Citizens Club and the Hilltoppers Senior Citizens Club of East McKeesport. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Teresa Dyan Temple and John J. Temple; and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Adda C. Bonnell Temple; a son, Melvin R. Temple and his wife Cindy of Maricopa, Ariz.; and a grandson, William M. Temple of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Friends received in the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m., with a memorial service to be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Dunn officiating. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Greater Pittsburgh, Irwin office.
Delfino P. Calvo, 77, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1922, in New Derry, a son of the late Guiseppi and Merchiolina (Calvo) Calvo. Prior to his retirement in 1986, he was a teacher of instrumental music at the Derry Area High School, where he had over 42 years of service. He was also a member and chief negotiator for the Derry Area Education Association. Del was a 1939 graduate of the Indiana Area High School, and a 1941 graduate of the Ernest Williams Professional School of Music in Ithaca, N.Y. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II, and played in the Army Air Corps band stationed at Bolling Field in Washington, D.C. This band played at all State Department and related national functions. After being discharged from the service, he received his bachelor's degree in music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his Master's of Music Education from Duquesne University. He was a member of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church, the church chancel choir, the Willing Workers of the church, and, along with his wife, delivered Meals on Wheels. Del was a member of the Greensburg Musical Society Local 339, and played in the Del Mar Quintet Dance Band. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise (Krisak) Calvo, in 1983; and a brother, Raymond Calvo. He is survived by his wife, Susannah M. (Jones) Calvo, whom he married in 1984; two children, Deleen L. DeMary and her husband, Don, of Norvelt and Daniel J. Calvo and his wife, Mary Ann, of Hopkinton, Mass.; his stepmother, Alda (Psenda) Calvo of Corteranzo, Province of Alessandria, Italy; four grandchildren, Michael Nicol and his wife, Katherine, Brock Smith, Tim Smith and Colleen Calvo; two sisters, Mary Costanzo and her husband, Luigi, of Milan, Italy, and Sylvia Paracca and her husband, Pierangelo, of Valdellatorre, Province of Torino, Italy; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday in Unity Chapel, Unity Township, with the Rev. Dr. David B. Batchelder officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Delfino P. Calvo Memorial Music Fund, in care of Derry Area High School, 982 Chestnut St. Extension, Derry PA 15627.
Ella Mae Victoria Curry, 77, of Jeannette, Penn Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, at her residence. She was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Lyons Voiret. She was a member of the Westmoreland County Democratic Club and the Penn Township Democratic Club. She was a local committee person for the local Democratic party and a member of the Manor VFW Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1987. Survived by a daughter, Bonnie Curry of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Margaret Koski of Jeannette; a brother, Ralph Edwin Voiret of Flagler Beach, Fla.; a son-in-law, William Langelius of Long Beach, Long Island, N.Y.; a niece, Susan Bosko of Cleveland, Ohio; and many other nephews of Florida. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at the family home in Jeannette. Memorial contributions may made to the Westmoreland Hospice, 501 W. Mary Josephine Wesolowski Dzambo, 80, of Perryopolis, formerly of Chestnut Street, Everson, died Monday evening, Nov. 1, 1999, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jan Stolarik, with whom she resided. She was born July 7, 1919, in Everson, a daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Yanas Wesolowski. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Everson, and a member of the church's Holy Rosary Society and Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Lambing #314. Mary leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted children, Thomas J. Dzambo and his wife, Louise, of Scottdale, Gene Dzambo and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Scottdale, Mary Ann Vinzani and her husband, Edward, of Scottdale, Barbara Dzambo of Everson, Allen Dzambo and his wife, Betty, of Scottdale, James Dzambo and his wife, Pam, of Everson, Debra Stolarik and her husband, Jan, of Perryopolis, with whom she resided, Peter Dzambo and his wife, Cheri, of Connellsville, John Dzambo and his wife, Bonnie, of Stroudsburg, George Dzambo and his wife, Cathee, of Everson, and Cynthia Lewis and her husband, Scott, of Colorado; 26 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Anastasia "Toots" Stashick of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Walter Wesolowski of Bessemer and William Wesolowski of Everson; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Dzambo, who died Sept. 12, 1966; and six brothers, Leo, Charles, Frank, Eddie, Victor and Anthony Wesolowski. Friends will be received in the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson, with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis Bogusz, and the Rev. John Eucher, pastor of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Perryopolis, as concelebrants. Interment will follow in St. Joseph R.C. Parish Cemetery, Everson. The Holy Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of Americas will recite a parish rosary Thursday at 2 p.m. and a parish wake service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m., both in the funeral home.
Lucy Fidei, 76, of Derry, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late George and Josephine Soltys. She was a member of the Holy Family Church, Latrobe, and had operated the former Clover Farm Store in Peanut. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Fidei; and three sisters, Helen Waggle, Sophie Brulinski and Jean Smith. She is survived by four sons, Francis Fidei, Gilbert Fidei of Greensburg, Richard Fidei of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and David Fidei and his wife, Sandra, of Chantilly, Va.; a daughter, Mary Fidei of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Ted Soltys and his wife, Christina, of Latrobe and Pete Hontz and his wife, Marge, of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Sally Yanits and her husband, John, of Youngstown, Pa.; and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. The Funeral Mass and interment
will be private.
Mildred Hazel (Collier) Hague, 94, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Munhall, on Friday, Oct. 29, 1999. Born in Uniontown. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Mifflin. Wife of the late Fred R. Hague. Mother of Fred R. Hague of O'Hara Township. Sister of Thelma Umbel of Ohio, Merchant Lee Collier of Uniontown, William Collier of Palm Coast, Fla., and Paul Collier of Arizona. Also, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall. Richard G. Holler Sr., 62, of Latrobe, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born March 14, 1937, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late Robert Sr. and Anna Macey Holler. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe. He retired from the former Latrobe Die Casting Co. and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a member of the Frontier Club, Latrobe, and a life member of St. Joseph Beneficial Society. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Holler Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carol Fritter Holler; two sons, William Holler at home and Richard Holler Jr. and his wife, Sherri, of Latrobe; a daughter, Jacqueline Furwa and her husband, John, of Latrobe; two brothers, James Holler and his wife, Joan, of Latrobe and Paul Holler and his wife, Judy, of Belton, Texas; five sisters, Anna Marie Magrey of Ohio, Margaret Kestner and her husband, Herb, of Hawaii, Elizabeth "Jane" Bucholtz of Texas, Patricia Quinn and her husband, Paul, of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Mary "Min" Decker of Latrobe; four grandchildren, Courtney and Connor Furwa and Ty and Seth Holler; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Township. Military services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Catherine C. (Stamford) Ingelido, 56, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999. Beloved wife of Richard E. "Dick" Ingelido; loving mother of Lori, Michael Debruyn and wife, Rosanne, David Debruyn and Laura, and Richie Ingelido Jr.; grandmother of Michael and Jordan Debruyn; sister of Ralph Stamford and wife, Patricia; daughter-in-law of Alberta Tedesco; sister-in-law of Theresa Ingelido, John Ingelido and Frank Tedesco; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cathy was a dedicated music and art teacher at St. Colman School for the past 10 years. She was a missionary teacher in Thailand during the summer of 1999. Cathy was a great Steeler fan.
