The service will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. in Unity Chapel, Unity Township, with the Rev. Dr. David B. Batchelder and the Rev. John Silbert co-officiating. Janice Emily (Forster) Altenbaugh, 84, a resident of Baldock Health Care Centre, North Huntingdon Township, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born April 12, 1917, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Thomas Brooke and Emily Sophia Kinsey Forster. Prior to retirement, she had been employed by the G.C. Murphy Co., Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morand Altenbaugh, in 1992; a sister, Ethel May Moeller; and a stepbrother, George Elwood Shunk. She is survived by a son, Martin Charles and his wife, Ramona Altenbaugh, of Manor; a daughter, Marlene and her husband, Dale Cox, of Manor; a grandson, Scott R. Cox of Manor; two step-grandchildren, Brian and his wife, Melissa Grizzle, of Greensburg and Kristy Price of Manor; two step-great-grandsons, David and Steven Lohr of Manor; and a sister, Eleanor C. Zborill of Quantico, Va. There will be no public visitation. Family suggests memorial contributions to the Manor Public Library, 57 Race St., Manor, PA 15665. Albert G. Brandon Jr. of Forest Hills, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001. Beloved husband of Irene Brandon; dear father of Albert John Brandon and wife, Pam; brother of John M. Brandon, M.D., and Victoria B. Turner; loving grandfather of Erica, Benjamin and Jessica Brandon. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends received at WOLFE MEMORIAL INC., FOREST HILLS CHAPEL, 3604 Greensburg Pike, FRIDAY ONLY 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services in Forest Hills Presbyterian Church Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at the church.
Plum Borough
Raymond John Bulebosh, 74, of Plum Borough (Renton), died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at home. Born Aug. 13, 1927, in Humphreys, Unity Township, he was a son of the late William and Helen J. Tuk Bulebosh. A special agent with the IRS, he worked on the fraud squad, with the Drug Enforcement Agency, and also on the president's strike force during the Nixon administration. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and a former member of the American Legion in Bethel Park. He attended St. Vincent College for three years, and transferred to Waynesburg College, where he received a degree in business administration. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne C. (Radcliff) Bulebosh of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Mrs. Eric (Bonnie) Rieber of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Beth Bulebosh of Renton and Betsy Bulebosh of Squirrel Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Hilvar and Eleanor Bulebosh, both of Renton; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bodnar. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the STEPHEN P. DOLENCE JR. FUNERAL HOME, 1519 Renton Road, Plum Borough. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Januarius Church, Renton, with the Rev. Peter Pilarski, pastor of St. Januarius, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.

Doris M. Diefenderfer, 69, of Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in her home. She was born July 13, 1932, in Homeville, a daughter of the late George and Violet (Wain) Wright. Doris was known for helping anyone in need and for her great love for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ted J. Diefenderfer; a son, John C. Diefenderfer and his wife, Kathy, of Martinez, Ga.; two daughters, Diane L. Bakalon and husband, Nicholas, of McKeesport and Lisa J. Waldron of Punxsutawney; a brother, Herbert Wright and wife, Nancy, of Clairton; four grandsons, Christopher Diefenderfer, Scott Bakalon, Nicholas Bakalon and Eric Waldron; two granddaughters, Valerie Patterson and Ashley Bakalon; a great-granddaughter, Lauren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Wright. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney. Service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Gerald Holmes officiating. Entombment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.

Elinor M. (Buechele) Jankowski, 68, of Plum Borough, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Jessop) Buechele. Elinor was a retired III Clerk of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Office of Employment Security of South Side, Pittsburgh, and a member of Pa. State Employee Union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Jankowski Sr.; and a grandson, Gary Tronsberg Jr. Elinor is survived by four daughters, Vicki McDonnell and husband, Ted, of Murrysville, Jeannie Jankowski-Shaffer of Arlington, Va., Mary Tronsberg and husband, Gary, of North Versailles and Teresa Jankowski at home; a son, R. Anthony Jankowski and wife, Carole, of Allison Park; a sister, Edna Leghorn of Finleyville; a brother, Ted Buechele and wife, Jackie, of McMurray; and eight grandchildren, Christine, R. Anthony 3rd and Rebeca Jankowski, Cari Jankowski, Nathan Shaffer, Joseph, Robert and James Tronsberg. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Jane Jankowski of Clinton, N.J.; and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Elinor will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., at Twin Valley, 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177, with Father Dismas Young of St. Mary's Church, Export, presiding. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Belle Vernon
Albert Magnone, 84, of Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born March 24, 1917, in Van Meter, a son of Frank and Rose Barbuso Magnone. He was a retired carpenter, having worked for Monarch Homes. He also was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Magnone; two sons, John Wisener and Jim Weston; two grandchildren; a brother, John Magnone; and two sisters, Mary Magnone and Ann Snyder. He is survived by three daughters, Myrtle Sphar of Belle Vernon, Margaret Kraynek of Warren, Ohio, and Shirley Cheroki of Monongahela; a son, Bill Weston of Charleroi; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Theresa King of Jacobs Creek. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the L.L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Second Street, Smithton. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Father Paul Stivason officiating. Interment will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery.

Mary Lou Walker McWilliams, 72, of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Life Care, Wilkinsburg. She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late James B. Sr. and Josephine Walker. She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School, Class of 1948, and Duff's Business School. She retired from Family and Children's Services, Monroeville, where she was employed for over 20 years. She was a member of the Penns Woods United Methodist Church, North Huntingdon, the Elizabeth Township Chapter 418 O.E.S. and the White Shrine of Jerusalem #16. She is survived by her husband, Charles C. McWilliams Sr.; two children, Charles C. McWilliams Jr. and his wife, Victoria, of North Versailles and Deborah S. Altieri and her husband, Mark, of McKeesport; four grandchildren, Melissa A. McWilliams and Mario, Kyle and Abby Altieri; two sisters, Sandra Roberts and her husband, Bruce, of San Diego, Calif., and Carol Dugan and her husband, Conrad, of Raleigh, N.C.; and a brother, James B. Walker Jr. of Florida; also nieces and nephews. Friends to be received at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Floyd A. Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park. W.S.J. services will be held Friday at 7:15 p.m. followed by O.E.S. services at 8:30 p.m., both in the funeral home.

Theresa Rodkey, 36, of New Florence, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in UPMC Lee Regional, Johnstown. Born Feb. 19, 1965, in Fairfax, Va., she was a daughter of the late Chris "Jake" and Shirley (Sweeney) Jacobs. Surviving are her husband, Jody; sons, Eric and Adam; sisters, Lisa Jacobs of Johnstown and Regina, wife of Mark Bradley, of Frederick, Md.; stepmother, Margaret Korber of Johnstown; stepbrothers, Lonne and wife, Lisa Marie Costlow, and Ronald Costlow, both of Johnstown; mother-in-law, Erma Rodkey, of New Florence; numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was a member of Community Bible Church, Bolivar. She was employed as a sales secretary by P.I.A.D., Greensburg. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the RICHARD C. STUART FUNERAL HOME, Armagh, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Rex R. Lichtenfels officiating. Private interment

Robert S. Ryan Jr., 43, of Hempfield Township, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1958, in Greensburg, a son of Helena L. Sarge Ryan of Jeannette and the late Robert S. Ryan Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Gulf War. He worked as a corrections officer at SCI Greene. He was a member of the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Andrew J. and Esther J. Ryan; and maternal grandfather, Carl H. Sarge Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Beverly Smith Ryan; a brother, John Ryan and his wife, Lynn, of Jeannette; a sister, Allanna "Lonnie" Ryan of Beaufort, S.C.; maternal grandmother, Margaret Sarge of Jeannette; nephew, John Andrew Ryan; two nieces, Jessica and Ashley Sarver; and a great-niece, Destiny Sarver. Friends were received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Clyde McCants officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. Members of the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department will hold services Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
