Trafford
Anna Sabol Zychowski, 85, of Trafford, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2O01, in her home. She was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Rankin, a daughter of the late Michael Sabol and Anna Mazer Sabol Sorokas. She was a member of St. Regis Church, Altar Rosary Society and Royal Neighbors 10627. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter E. Zychowski; three brothers, Michael Sabol, George Sorokas and Michael Sorokas; and three sisters Anna Toth, Rose Bazala and Agnes Doperak. She is survived by her loving children, Edward F. Zychowski and Janet A. (Richard) Fasciano; a sister, Dorothy Hudak; two grandchildren, Christopher J. and Anne M. Fasciano; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the DAVID A. RITTER FUNERAL HOME, 220 Edgewood Ave., Trafford, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Regis Church, Trafford, with Father James D. Tringhese as celebrant. Interment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery.

Ruth Ann (Wokutch) Berger, on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001. Mrs. Berger was a homemaker. She was the beloved wife of Elmer P. Berger; mother of Suzann Miriello of Edgewood Boro, Linda McClafferty of Stoneboro, Pa., and Brian P. Berger of Bethesda, Md.; sister of James Wokutch of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Edward Walsh and Eugene Wokutch. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Celebrating Mrs. Berger's life with her family in the FRANK R. Raymond John Bulebosh, 74, of Plum Borough (Renton), died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in his home. Born Aug. 13, 1927, in Humphreys, Unity Twp., he was a son of the late William and Helen J. Tuk Bulebosh. A special agent with the IRS, Mr. Bulebosh worked on the fraud squad, with the Drug Enforcement Agency, and also on the president's strike force during the Nixon administration. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and a former member of the American Legion in Bethel Park. He attended St. Vincent College for three years and transferred to Waynesburg College, where he received a degree in business administration. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne C. (Radcliff) Bulebosh of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Mrs. Eric (Bonnie) Rieber of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Beth Bulebosh of Renton and Betsy Bulebosh of Squirrel Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Hilvar and Eleanor Bulebosh, both of Renton; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bodnar. Friends received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the STEPHEN P. DOLENCE JR. FUNERAL HOME, 1519 Renton Road, Plum Borough. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Januarius Church, Renton, with the Rev. Veronica Butler, age 89, on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Florida. She is survived by a daughter, Judith Tebbe of Melbourne, Fla.; sisters, Madlyn Knutson of Pittsburgh and Anne Zbornik of California; brothers, Joseph Schavone of California and John Schavone of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Virginia M. Charney, age 80, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in UPMC Passavant. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 27, 1921, daughter of the late August and Rose Rinella Spagnolo. Mrs. Charney was a homemaker and member of St. Sebastian Church, Ross. Survived by a sister, Rose Leo; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Barnes; a son, Robert G. Charney Sr.; two sisters, Sara Gatto and Mary Pribik; and two brothers, Carol and Charles Spagnolo. Gwendolyn D. (Pancoast) Harvey, 74, on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William G. Harvey Jr., and a daughter, Dawn M. Harvey. She is survived by loving daughter, Linda Sue Ervin and her husband Wayne of West View; sons, William G. Harvey and his wife Elizabeth of Avalon, and Larry D. Elinor M. (Buechele) Jankowski, 68, of Plum Borough, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Jessop) Buechele. Elinor was a retired III Clerk of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Office of Employment Security of South Side, Pittsburgh, and a member of the Pennsylvania State Employee Union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Jankowski Sr.; and a grandson, Gary Tronsberg Jr. Elinor is survived by four daughters, Vicki McDonnell and husband Ted of Murrysville, Jeannie Jankowski-Shaffer of Arlington, Va., Mary Tronsberg and husband Gary of North Versailles, and Teresa Jankowski at home; a son, R. Anthony Jankowski and wife Carole of Allison Park; a sister, Edna Leghorn of Finleyville; a brother, Ted Buechele and wife Jackie of McMurray; and eight grandchildren, Christine, R. Anthony 3rd and Rebeca Jankowski, Cari Jankowski, Nathan Shaffer, Joseph, Robert and James Tronsberg. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Jane Jankowski of Clinton, N.J.; and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Elinor will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. in the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC. at Twin Valley, 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177, with the Rev. Dismas Young of St. Mary's Church, Export, presiding. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Elizabeth LeDonne, 86, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in Southwestern Nursing Center, Pleasant Hills. She was born Nov. 16, 1914, in Ateleta, Italy, daughter of the late Paulo and Giovina LeDonne Lucente. Mrs. LeDonne was a retired custodian with the Clairton Educational Center. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton and Sons of Columbus Genova Council #6 of Clairton. Wife of the late Vincent LeDonne; mother of Paul S. LeDonne of Elizabeth Twp., Anthony R. LeDonne of Clairton, Vincent V. LeDonne Jr. of Greenville, S.C., and Dr. Michael A. LeDonne of Bethel Park; sister of Americo Lucente of Allison Park. Also survived by seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton. Mildred J. Nylander, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in her home. She was the widow of Gus John Nylander. Born June 22, 1912, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Baumgart) Griffith and had lived in Stroudsburg for the past 20 years after moving from Pittsburgh. Prior to retirement, Mildred had worked for Betsy Ann Candies, a homemade candy business in Pittsburgh. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Stroudsburg. She was also a volunteer for the Children's Clothing Room of the First Presbyterian Church and for Meals on Wheels of Monroe County. Surviving are a daughter, Judith Douds and her husband Dennis of Stroudsburg; a son, Glenn Nylander and his wife Judith of Minneapolis, Minn.; five grandchildren, Jill Koerber, Douglas Douds, Amy Jones, Elizabeth Nylander and Sarah Nylander; and six great-grandchildren, Zachery Koerber, Tyler Koerber, Morgan Koerber, Gus Douds, Carter Jones and Marley Jones. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Memorial services will be Monday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. in United Presbyterian Church, Brookline Boulevard, Pittsburgh, with the Rev. Goff officiating. Private graveside services and burial will take place in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
