Elizabeth V. Crusan Everett, 70, of Rillton, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born July 27, 1929, in Black Lick, a daughter of the late Edward and Florence Frye Crusan Dunmire. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Oshie Dunmire; and three brothers, Melvin, Jessie and Kenny Crusan. She is survived by her husband, Howard Everett Sr.; and seven children, Donald "Butch" Crusan of Yukon, Virginia Pfrogner and her husband, James, of Rillton, Donna Everett of Greensburg, Howard Jr. of Rillton, Alice Mellinger and her husband, Howard, of Herminie, Mary Everett and Ellen Everett, both of Greensburg; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Dunmire of Saltsburg and Ruth Ader of Slickville. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John C. Pressler officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
Rosemary McDonald Findle, 84, of Irwin, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1915, in Crabtree, a daughter of the late John J. and Grace McClain McDonald. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Irwin and a member of the AARP #3221, North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Findle; and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Francis F. Findle; a daughter, Judy Ann and her husband, Larry Martin, of Newark, Ohio; two grandchildren, Joseph and Joyce Mary Killmeyer; a brother, John McDonald of California; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Huntingdon. Memorials may be made to the Westmoreland Hospice, 532 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601.
Pamela C. Gamble, 47, of Derry, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, in UPMC Shadyside. She was born May 2, 1952, in Latrobe, a daughter of Patricia Amend Pyle of Derry and the late Robert W. Pyle. She was a member of the Derry Presbyterian Church, the Derry American Legion and the Derry Ukes. She was employed by Mastorocco's Market, Derry. She is survived by her husband, James "Mitch" Gamble; a son, Robert M. Gamble and Beverly Coffman of Derry; a daughter, Rachael L. Gaffey and her husband, Robert, of New Derry; four sisters, Patsy Pyle of Florida, Paula Orzechowski and her husband, Ed, and Penny Smith and her husband, Kenneth, all of St. Augustine, Fla., and Peggy Suda and her husband, Thomas, of Indiana, Pa.; three grandchildren, Dakotta and Dylan Gaffey and Alexander Powell; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Third Ave., Derry, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. F. Neal Galley officiating. Interment will follow in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
Dorothy Hallowell, 82, of Latrobe, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, in IHS at Mountain View, Unity Township. She was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Henry and May Matchett. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald S. Hallowell Sr., in 1995. She is survived by two children, Joan Hahn and her husband, Lamont, of Syracuse, N.Y., and Ronald S. Hallowell Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Latrobe; two grandsons, Bruce Hahn and his wife, Maria, and Bryan Hahn; a great-granddaughter, Theresa Jo Hahn; a sister, Lorraine Hober; and a brother, Arthur Matchett, both of Philadelphia. Friends will be received at the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William E. Ordelt Jr. officiating. Private interment
will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Triangle Meals-On-Wheels, P.O. Box 347, Pleasant Unity, PA 15676.

Joseph L. Farling, 74, of Jeannette, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in his home. He was born May 21, 1927, in Grapeville, a son of the late John H. and Mabel L. Feld Farling. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a salesman. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Mae Gangle and June Matuke; and three brothers, Harry, Jack and Joe Farling. He is survived by his wife, Connie Farling of Mt. Lake Park, Md.; and a niece, Francine Hohn of Greensburg. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, with Pastor Dale W. Roddy officiating. Interment will be private.

Sister Aniceta Gibson, 82, of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Caritas Christi, Greensburg. Born Sept. 16, 1919, in Crafton, a daughter of the late Merle and Catherine (Kuhn) Gibson, she was the eighth of 10 children. Sister Aniceta entered the Sisters of Charity on Sept. 8, 1946, from Holy Family Parish, Latrobe. For nearly 20 years, she taught children in elementary schools in the Dioceses of Pittsburgh, Altoona-Johnstown and Phoenix. Later she became a licensed practical nurse and served the sisters in the infirmary from 1967 through 1987, when she began her part-time nursing ministry. In retirement, she resided with the sisters in Greensburg, except when, for health reasons, she moved to Mt. St. Macrina in Uniontown. In 1999, she returned to Greensburg and continued to delight people with her ready laughter. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John L. (Gertrude) Schwab of Southbury, Conn.; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Edith Westerfer, Mary Jane Kattan, Sally Gibson, Bertha Gibson and Sister Rose Barbara Gibson, S.C.; and three brothers, Merle David Jr., William C. and Richard B. Gibson. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Seton Hill College in 1963 and received her practical nurse's license in 1972. Friends received Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 6:45 p.m. in Caritas Christi, 459 Mt. Thor Road, Greensburg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Assumption, Caritas Christi. Burial will be in the Sisters' Cemetery, Seton Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Charity, DePaul Center, 463 Mt. Thor Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.

Eleanor L. Leacock Mansfield Johnson, 83, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in the Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. She was born July 4, 1918, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Clyde Leacock and Pearl Eldora Boggs Mansfield. She was a member of the Greensburg Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Johnson; a daughter, Helen Louise Johnson; a brother, Glenn Leacock; and a sister, Betty Mansfield Miller. Surviving are two daughters, Yvonne Berta of Liberty Borough and Susan Dworek of Penn; a son, James H. Johnson of North Versailles; nine grandchildren, Jessica Richardson, Erika, Bree and Jeff Johnson, Ronald, David, Howard and Barry Berta and Bonna Pearson; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, James Mansfield of Greensburg; and a sister, Evelyn Eves of Georgia. Friends received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin, where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Waugh, her pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.

Linda Joann Seremet Mellquist, 49, of Napa, Calif., formerly of Latrobe, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in Latrobe, in the presence of her family. She was born Dec. 18, 1951, in Latrobe, the daughter of Floy Juanita Walker Seremet of Latrobe and the late Walter J. Seremet. She was a retired marketing consultant, and a professor of agriculture business at Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo, Calif. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John B. Mellquist; and three brothers, Ronald of Scottsdale, Ariz., Kenneth of Youngwood and Gary Seremet of Orlando, Fla. Friends received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Unity Chapel with the Rev. Donald J. Mondello officiating. Interment
