Also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother of Helen Petrichevich and Vera Witt. Beloved friend of Lenora Tumis. Greensburg
Earl L. Shuster, 78, of Greensburg RD9, died suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001. He was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Hempfield Township, a son of the late Roy W. and Zella Branthoover Shuster. Prior to retirement, he had been a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Shuster Rose and her husband, Warren; and his nephew, William Earl Rose. He is survived by two nieces, Carole Platt and her husband, Richard, of Pittsburgh and Linda Eicher and her husband, George, of Mt. Pleasant; two nephews, Robert Rose and his wife, Diane, of Riverside, Calif., and David Rose and his wife, Julia, of Tampa, Fla.; and seven great-nieces and -nephews. Mr. Shuster's family will receive friends at the BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Frederick C. Heitzenroder officiating. Interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. Should friends desire, memorial remembrances may be made in Mr. Shuster's name to Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086.
Mt. Pleasant
Madeline Oberdacker Geier Sibal, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. She was born March 17, 1922, in Mt. Pleasant Township, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Christina Mistlebauer Oberdacker. Madeline was a graduate of the former Hurst High School. She was formerly employed at Smith Glass, Mt. Pleasant, and she retired from Westinghouse in Youngwood. She had also worked at the Heinz plant in Pittsburgh during World War II and was involved in a television documentary about her work and time there. She was also a member of Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Geier; her second husband, Louis Sibal; two stepsons, Louis Sibal Jr. and Michael Sibal; two brothers, Bernard and Albert Oberdacker; and two sisters, Lorraine Oberdacker and Alberta. She is survived by her son, Ronald Geier and his wife, Rosemary, of Greensburg; six stepchildren, Dolores Smith of Latrobe, John Sibal and his wife, Elizabeth, of Trauger, Agnes Slowski and her husband, Stanley, of Greensburg, Kathleen Florek and her husband, John, of Slickville, Patricia Campomozzi of New Stanton and Joseph Sibal and his wife, Betsy, of Mt. Pleasant; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Oberdacker of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a sister, Mary Jean Stana of Warminster, Pa. Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Anthony Ditto as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Visitation Cemetery.
Angelo A. Tsourekis, suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001. Beloved husband of Angeliki Tsourekis. Father of Dorothy Xanos, Sylvia (Jaavid) Ahmadnia and Genia (Harry) Andrews. Grandfather of Katie and Alex Andrews. Brother of Kostas Tsourekis, Zoe (Vasilis) Anestopoulos, Andreas (Maria) Tsourekis and the late Demitri Tsourekis. Uncle of Athanasios (Maria) and Sotirios Tsourekis, and several nieces and nephews in Greece. Friends received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC., 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire (Oakland), Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. Trisagion service Friday at 7:30 p.m. Angelo was born and raised in Greece. He married Angeliki in 1964 and they came to the United States in the same year. Upon his arrival, Angelo became and active member of the Greek community in Pittsburgh. He joined Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, became an active member of G.A.P.A. and A.H.E.P.A., joined American Legion Post 565, where he served as chaplain, and for the past 22 years, was a member and chantor of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

Joshua A. Whitlatch, 21, of Monessen, formerly of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001. Born in Carroll Township, July 18, 1980, he was a son of David and Vickie (Flower) Stillwagon of Confluence. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Joyce F. Flower of Rostraver Township; his wife, Kimberly Cooper Whitlatch; son, Gage Allen Whitlatch at home; three stepsons, Dacien Giffin, Eric Giffin and Raven Cooper, all at home; a brother, Pike Stillwagon of Confluence; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the area. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles "Pike" Flower. Friends will be received Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Township.

Barbara A. Woolum, 63, on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Jefferson Center Hospital, Jefferson Hills. She was born in Clairton on Aug. 31, 1938, daughter of the late David and Esther (Meena) George. Mrs. Woolum was a homemaker. Wife of the late Roscoe W. Woolum; mother of Ross Woolum of Pittsburgh, Thom Woolum of Erie and Marcie Webb of McKeesport; sister of George George of Clairton, Zada Meena of Louisville, Ky., Nora Hough and Florence Wall, both of Clairton. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, where Funeral Service will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Paul R. Bridge Jr., 69, of Ligonier, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Latrobe, a son of the late Paul R. Sr. and Anna Washnock Bridge. He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Ronald, and John Bridge. He is survived by his wife, Betty Harshell Bridge; two sons, Paul III and his wife, Debbie, and David and Linda, all of Ligonier; three grandchildren, Mark, Jolene, and Amanda Bridge; a great-granddaughter, his little angel, Courtney; two sisters, Merda Mae Blough and Ann Hensley of Virginia; and a brother, James Bridge and his wife, Sue, of Latrobe. There will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe. The family requests no floral tributes but anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to the East Fork Sportsmen's Club, RD1, Austin, PA 16720.
