Dorothy (Benjamin) Readshaw, in her 90th year, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, of The Baptist Home, formerly of Baldwin. Wife of the late Ernest J. Readshaw. Mother of Lori Beth Oswald. Also survived by grandchildren, nephews and a niece. Visitation will be Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the READSHAW FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, where a funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. Sister M. Joanne (Rosemary) Sabol, a member of the School Sisters of St. Francis for 59 years, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, in Mount Assisi Convent, Pittsburgh. She was 77 years old. Sister Joanne entered the community from St. Mark's Parish, McKees Rocks, in 1938, and was professed in 1942. During her years of ministry, she served in schools in the Dioceses of Pittsburgh, Erie, Altoona-Johnstown, Allentown and Patterson (New Jersey) and the Archdioceses of San Antonio. The daughter of Andrew and Mary Kobulnicky Sabol, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Henry, Michael and Thomas Sabol, and one sister, Gertrude Sabol Wozniak. She is survived by three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. in Queen of Angels Chapel, Mount Assisi, Bellevue. Arrangements by the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Bellevue.

Lea Grace Sisca, 46, on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, in Forbes Hospice. She was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 26, 1954, a daughter of Johanna Sisca of Allison Park and the late Arnold J. Sisca Sr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Nina Pletcher of Delaware; a brother, Arnold J. Sisca Jr. of Ohio; nieces and nephews. No visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Ursula Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sharps Hill Road, O'Hara. Arrangements by the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Lea worked for Dr. Carl Flecker as a dental hygienist, was the former owner of Merle Norman Studio in Allison Park and practiced law in South Carolina. Most recently, she was employed as a lawyer recruiter for Management Recruiters in Jacksonville, Fla. Angelo A. Tsourekis, suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001. Beloved husband of Angeliki Tsourekis. Father of Dorothy Xanos, Sylvia (Jaavid) Ahmadnia and Genia (Harry) Andrews. Grandfather of Katie and Alex Andrews. Brother of Kostas Tsourekis, Zoe (Vasilis) Anestopoulos, Andreas (Maria) Tsourekis and the late Demitri Tsourekis. Uncle of Athanasios (Maria) and Sotirios Tsourekis, and several nieces and nephews in Greece. Friends received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC., 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire (Oakland), Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. Trisagion service Friday at 7:30 p.m. Angelo was born and raised in Greece. He married Angeliki in 1964 and they came to the United States in the same year. Upon his arrival, Angelo became and active member of the Greek community in Pittsburgh. He joined Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, became an active member of G.A.P.A. and A.H.E.P.A., joined American Legion Post 595, where he served as chaplain, and for the past 22 years, was a member and chantor of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

Formerly of Coraopolis
Agnes E. White, 68, of Shadyside, formerly of Coraopolis, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at Atrium I. She was born in Coraopolis on March 1, 1933. Miss White was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church in Shadyside. She had been employed in administration for 20 years at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Surgery, and prior to that she was employed at the University Hospital of Cleveland. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Richard and Kathleen White of Ben Avon, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be in Third Presbyterian Church, Fifth at South Negley, Shadyside, time later. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements by Copeland's Coraopolis.

Mother of Christine and her husband Tim Zydel, Mark and his wife Michele Zydel, Cheryl and her husband Mark Henne, Sandy and her husband Steve Miller, Brian and his wife Karen Zydel, Eric and his wife Mary Lou Zydel, David and his wife Pam Zydel, and Glenn and his wife Lisa Zydel. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Daughter-in-law of Rose F. Zydel. Sister of Richard and Anthony Tysarczyk, and the late Joseph Tysarczyk and Mary Helen Jaglowski. Friends received in the WALTER J. Richard F. Bossart Sr., 79, of Whitney, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, in the Greensburg Care Center, Hempfield Township. He was born Jan. 23, 1922, in Whitney, a son of the late Richard G. and Minnie C. (Heese) Bossart. Prior to retirement, he worked in the melt shop at Latrobe Steel. He was a lifelong member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Whitney, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He also was a charter member of the Possum Hollow Rod and Gun Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet P. (Smith) Bossart; two brothers, Leonard and Claude Bossart; and a sister, Marie Bossart. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Robertson and fiance, Joseph Malik, of Latrobe RD2; a son, Richard F. Bossart Jr. and wife, Deborah, of Latrobe RD3; three granddaughters, Sharon Schmucker and husband, Brian, Jody Bossart and Audrey Robertson; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Travis Schmucker; a brother, George Bossart of Latrobe RD4; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the GAUT-BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., Pleasant Unity, Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 9:20 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Whitney, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Chad R. Ficorilli, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. A parish rosary will be held Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Louis DeMonte, 78, of Penn Township, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. He was born April 26, 1923, in Bovard, a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Falo) DeMonte. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a custodian for the Penn-Trafford School District. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Sam, David, Meade and Ernest DeMonte. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anna Mae Louch DeMonte; two sons, Louis Michael DeMonte of Gibsonia and John Joseph DeMonte and wife, JoAnn, of Oviedo, Fla.; a daughter, Rebecca Sudduth and husband, James, of Cambridge, Ohio; a brother, Frank DeMonte of Penn; two sisters, Concetta Messich of Bovard and Louise DeMase of New Alexandria; and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. V. Paul Fitzmaurice officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

Anna Amanda (Housel) Dyer, 57, of Youngwood, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Born Dec. 21, 1943, in Mill Run, she was a daughter of the late John Harrison and Phoebe Elizabeth (Pirl) Housel. She attended Deliverance Tabernacle Church, New Stanton. Surviving are five daughters, Junita Knopp of Youngwood, Lisa White of Scottdale, Melissa Smith and husband, Ernest, of Youngwood, and twins, Jackie and Faith Dyer; several grandchildren; and a sister, Mary E. (Housel) Thomas of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dyer, in 1998; five half brothers, Kenneth, Ed, Clarence, William and John Housel; an infant brother, Franklin Housel; and a half sister, Susan Huffman. Friends will be received at the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the funeral home in her name.
