Mary Josephine Wesolowski Dzambo, 80, of Perryopolis, formerly of Chestnut Street, Everson, died Monday evening, Nov. 1, 1999, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jan Stolarik, with whom she resided. She was born July 7, 1919, in Everson, a daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Yanas Wesolowski. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Everson, and a member of the church's Holy Rosary Society and Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Lambing #314. Mary leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted children, Thomas J. Dzambo and his wife, Louise, of Scottdale, Gene Dzambo and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Scottdale, Mary Ann Vinzani and her husband, Edward, of Scottdale, Barbara Dzambo of Everson, Allen Dzambo and his wife, Betty, of Scottdale, James Dzambo and his wife, Pam, of Everson, Debra Stolarik and her husband, Jan, of Perryopolis, with whom she resided, Peter Dzambo and his wife, Cheri, of Connellsville, John Dzambo and his wife, Bonnie, of Stroudsburg, George Dzambo and his wife, Cathee, of Everson, and Cynthia Lewis and her husband, Scott, of Colorado; 26 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Anastasia "Toots" Stashick of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Walter Wesolowski of Bessemer and William Wesolowski of Everson; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Dzambo, who died Sept. 12, 1966; and six brothers, Leo, Charles, Frank, Eddie, Victor and Anthony Wesolowski. Friends will be received in the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson, with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis Bogusz, and the Rev. John Eucher, pastor of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Perryopolis, as concelebrants. Interment will follow in St. Joseph R.C. Parish Cemetery, Everson. The Holy Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of Americas will recite a parish rosary Thursday at 2 p.m. and a parish wake service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m., both in the funeral home.
Lucy Fidei, 76, of Derry, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late George and Josephine Soltys. She was a member of the Holy Family Church, Latrobe, and had operated the former Clover Farm Store in Peanut. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Fidei; and three sisters, Helen Waggle, Sophie Brulinski and Jean Smith. She is survived by four sons, Francis Fidei, Gilbert Fidei of Greensburg, Richard Fidei of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and David Fidei and his wife, Sandra, of Chantilly, Va.; a daughter, Mary Fidei of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Ted Soltys and his wife, Christina, of Latrobe and Pete Hontz and his wife, Marge, of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Sally Yanits and her husband, John, of Youngstown, Pa.; and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. The Funeral Mass and interment
will be private.
Mildred Hazel (Collier) Hague, 94, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Munhall, on Friday, Oct. 29, 1999. Born in Uniontown. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Mifflin. Wife of the late Fred R. Hague. Mother of Fred R. Hague of O'Hara Township. Sister of Thelma Umbel of Ohio, Merchant Lee Collier of Uniontown, William Collier of Palm Coast, Fla., and Paul Collier of Arizona. Also, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall. Richard G. Holler Sr., 62, of Latrobe, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born March 14, 1937, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late Robert Sr. and Anna Macey Holler. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe. He retired from the former Latrobe Die Casting Co. and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a member of the Frontier Club, Latrobe, and a life member of St. Joseph Beneficial Society. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Holler Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carol Fritter Holler; two sons, William Holler at home and Richard Holler Jr. and his wife, Sherri, of Latrobe; a daughter, Jacqueline Furwa and her husband, John, of Latrobe; two brothers, James Holler and his wife, Joan, of Latrobe and Paul Holler and his wife, Judy, of Belton, Texas; five sisters, Anna Marie Magrey of Ohio, Margaret Kestner and her husband, Herb, of Hawaii, Elizabeth "Jane" Bucholtz of Texas, Patricia Quinn and her husband, Paul, of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Mary "Min" Decker of Latrobe; four grandchildren, Courtney and Connor Furwa and Ty and Seth Holler; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Township. Military services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Catherine C. (Stamford) Ingelido, 56, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999. Beloved wife of Richard E. "Dick" Ingelido; loving mother of Lori, Michael Debruyn and wife, Rosanne, David Debruyn and Laura, and Richie Ingelido Jr.; grandmother of Michael and Jordan Debruyn; sister of Ralph Stamford and wife, Patricia; daughter-in-law of Alberta Tedesco; sister-in-law of Theresa Ingelido, John Ingelido and Frank Tedesco; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cathy was a dedicated music and art teacher at St. Colman School for the past 10 years. She was a missionary teacher in Thailand during the summer of 1999. Cathy was a great Steeler fan. Ruth Jackson Justice, 65, of Seventh Avenue, Parkersburg, W.Va., formerly of Adamsburg, Pa., died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in the emergency room of Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. She was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Jesse and Anna Shaver Jackson. She was a member of the Broadway Avenue Baptist Church, was a former employee of G.C. Murphy Co., and was a member of the Wood County Democratic Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, Alan G. "Tony" Justice; a daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Harry "Beak" Shuman of Washington, W.Va.; a brother, Gib Jackson of Washington, W.Va.; and a sister, Jerry Morton of Parkersburg, W.Va. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Tumlin and Betty Butler. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the OGDIN-KIMES FUNERAL HOME, 1640 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, W.Va., with the Rev. Phillip Newhart officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by Kimes Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
On this day, Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, Anne E. Loya, of Mt. Pleasant, has been lifted up by our Lord to join her beloved husband, John, in eternity forever after. She was 79. Anne was born Jan. 8, 1920, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Otto Alvin and Lottie McBriar Smith. She was educated in the Pittsburgh area. Anne moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1958 with her husband, John, who was working for the former Pittsburgh Screw and Bolt. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the U.S. Bureau of Mines as a proofreader and J&L Steel as an assembler. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant, Bullskin Township Senior Citizens, Women's Society, Senior Aide at Frick Hospital, volunteer of Life Line, and a former member of YMCA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Loya, in 1986. Anne will be sadly missed by her close and devoted friend, Stella Morgan Lutz of New Stanton. She is also survived by a niece, Sharon Shanower of Alliance, Ohio; and a friend, Sylvia Green of Squirrel Hill. Friends will be received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time her funeral service will be held with the Rev. Richard W. Shields officiating. Interment will follow in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
Jean M. Lupnacca, 77, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Pittsburgh, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999. She was born June 21, 1922, in Pittsburgh. She was a retired guidance counselor of Shaler Area School District and a member of the Church of the Incarnation. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, John Q. Lupnacca; two daughters, Beverly Kerkam of Linwood, N.J., and Janet Lupnacca of Moorestown, N.J.; a son, John David Lupnacca of Medford, N.J.; two brothers, Dr. Samuel DeSimone of Coatesville and Albert of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at noon in the Church of the Incarnation, Sarasota, Fla. Interment in Palms Memorial Park. James O. Rugh, 67, of Jefferson Hills, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, in Jefferson Center Hospital, Jefferson Hills. Born Feb. 11, 1932, in Bradenville, he was a son of the late Raymond J. and Pearl Gower Rugh. He was a retired oiler with Operating Engineers Local 66. He was a member of New Hope Assembly of God Church, Elizabeth Township. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Haun Rugh; a daughter, Nancy Hall of Lakeland, Fla.; three sisters, Sandra Hoke of Latrobe, Johnetta Cunningham of Torrance and Bronwyn Rugh of Blairsville; a brother, Raymond D. Rugh of Latrobe; and nieces and nephews. Friends received in the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 Second St., Elizabeth, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends will be received Friday from noon until the hour of service at 1 p.m. in the Praise Assembly of God Church, North Versailles, with the Rev. Shawn Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
