MICHAEL GRITZER
Michael Gritzer, 79, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, in Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1920, in Marguerite, Pa., and was a longtime resident of Greensburg. He was a retired hotel manager, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Gorlick of Las Vegas; a son, Galen Gritzer of Orlando, Fla.; four sisters, Jane Giovanni of Naples, Fla., Sally Steele and Elizabeth Gritzer, both of Pittsburgh, and Helen Donnelly of Ligonier; a brother, Frank Gritzer of Conneaut, Ohio; and six grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the PALM MORTUARY-EASTERN, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123, (702) 464-8500. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. in Guardian Angel Cathedral. Interment Palm Valley View Cemetery, Las Vegas.

STEVE GRUSHECKY
Steve Grushecky, 89, of Warren, formerly of Hutchinson, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at his home. He was born Aug. 17, 1910, in McKeesport, a son of the late John and Mary Oblaski Grushecky. He is survived by his wife, Rose (Koschasic) Grushecky; three children, Timothy S. Grushecky and wife, Katherine, of Warren, Mary McCleary and husband, Neal, of Fair Hill, Md., and Loretta Grushecky of Boxborough, Mass.; two grandchildren, Shawn Grushecky and wife, Jennifer, and Sedessa Grushecky; two brothers, John and Tom Grushecky; and two sisters, Helen Konchina and Marie Yex. Friends will be received Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton. Services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Archbishop Kyrill officiating. Interment West Newton Cemetery.

PATRICIA A. MILLER HOGAN
Patricia A. "Patti Anne" Miller Hogan, born in Braddock, Jan. 22, 1927, daughter of Joseph W. and Sarah Haggerty Miller, passed away peacefully after an extended illness with complications from emphysema, at the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic Nursing Home, Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999. Educated at St. Thomas Elementary School, Braddock, Sacred Heart High School, Pittsburgh, and graduated from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy. Co-operated, along with her aunt, Margaret Haggerty Connolly, the Forest Hills Pharmacy until their retirement. Survived by husband, Joseph, of Monroeville; a daughter, Sharon Hogan of Fairfield, Conn.; a son, Brian Hogan of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Sarah Greer and husband, Matthew, with grandchildren, Alexandra, Benjamin and Patrick of Kingwood, Texas; and son, Hilary Hogan and wife, Mary Ann, with grandchildren, Beverly, Andrea, Patrick and Thomas, of Murrysville. Also survived by a special cousin, Robert D. Connolly and wife, Lucille, of Catlett, Va. The family would like to express their deepest and heartfelt appreciation to the highly skilled and loving staff at the LGAR, and to the dedicated and caring members of Odyssey Healthcare for their guidance and support. Friends may call at the GENE VAN HORN MONROEVILLE FUNERAL HOME, Beatty Road at Route 48 north, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the North American Martyrs Catholic Church (please proceed directly to the church). Donations may be made to Odyssey Healthcare, Park West One, Suite 500, Cliff Mine Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15275, or to a charity of choice.

RANDY LEE HOLBY
Randy Lee Holby, 45, of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., formerly of New Alexandria, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at his home. He was born Oct. 30, 1954, in Greensburg, a son of Huldah (Semencar) Holby of New Alexandria and the late Merle Holby. Randy's passion in life was working in printing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Christine Holby of New Alexandria; a wife, Tonia Holby of Georgia; a sister, Irene Casteel and husband, Jonathan, of Greensburg; a brother, Dennis Holby and wife, Cathy, of New Alexandria; a granddaughter, Samantha Woollen; numerous nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Kim O'Doherty. The family will be receiving family and friends at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., AT TWIN VALLEY, 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, (724) 468-1177, beginning Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Randy's funeral service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Glenn Burrows of the Delmont Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park. Kevin P. Altman, supervisor, in charge of arrangements.

JOSEPH C. KOCHANOWSKI
Joseph C. Kochanowski, 89, of Shaler Township, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999. Beloved husband of Genevieve Kochanowski. Beloved father of Robert Kochanowski of Hampton Township and Sally A. Minjack of Plum Borough. Also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a retired foreman for the Westinghouse Corp. Friends received Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, corner of Main and Ninth streets, Sharpsburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, O'Hara Township. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, O'Hara Township. Parish wake service Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

JOSEPH PEDICONE
Joseph Pedicone, 66, of Thomas, W.Va., died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. He was born April 5, 1933, in Greensburg, a son of the late August and Bessie Zello Christopher Pedicone. He was also predeceased by a sister, Theresa Daverse; and two brothers, Lt. Henry Pedicone and Carmen Pedicone. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Pedicone; five sons, Joseph, Michael, Mark, Matthew and Max; two stepsons; sisters, Mary Ann Sikora and husband, Adam, of Greensburg, Genevieve Loncharich of Greensburg, Angeline Schultz and husband, Morris, of Acme, Nancy Capasso and husband, Alex, of Greensburg and Florence Gray and husband, Walter, of Ruffsdale; brothers, Frank Pedicone and wife, Pearl, of South Greensburg, Vincent Capozzi and wife, Virginia, of Greensburg, Robert Capozzi and wife, Marlea, of South Carolina, and Richard Capozzi and wife, Julie, of Harrison City; two stepbrothers; and four stepsisters. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. at BARB'S FUNERAL HOME in Parsons, W.Va., where service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Mt. Rose Cemetery, Mt. Rose, W.Va.

DONNA MAE LOUGEAY SAELLO
Donna Mae Lougeay Saello, 66, of East McKeesport, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at home. She was born March 28, 1933, in Swissvale, a daughter of the late Lillian Jones Lougeay. She was a former employee of Equibank of Pittsburgh. She is survived by her husband, Frank "Sonny" Saello; a daughter, Libby Saello, and a son, Lee Saello, both of East McKeesport; a granddaughter, Jaclyn Lee Saello; also a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Victor Jochen officiating. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.

GOLDIE MARIE SHOAF
Goldie Marie Shoaf, 92, of Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, in Panama City Nursing Center, Panama City, Fla. She was born Feb. 1, 1907, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late John and Edith Todd Eichner. She was Presbyterian by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbert DeArmitt; a son, William DeArmitt; two brothers, Robert and Eugene Eichner; and two sisters, Lilly Ross and Loretta DeArmitt. She is survived by her second husband, Harry E. Shoaf of Panama City, Fla.; three sons, Wilbert DeArmitt and wife, Betty, of Texarkana, Texas, Harry C. Shoaf and wife, Sue, of Seattle, Wash., and David T. Shoaf and wife, Denise, of Panama City, Fla.; four daughters, Katherine Fennell of Kirkland, Ohio, Edith Hesser and husband, Jerry, of Willoughby, Ohio, Deliah Evans and husband, Ed, of Perry, Ohio, and Doris Matos Titi of Geneva, Ohio; and many grandchildren. Friends will be received in the JAY B. PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, 408 Depot St., Youngwood, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis J. Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Eugene G. Saloom, funeral director, in charge.

ROSINA C. VITALE
Rosina C. "Rose" Vitale, 83, of Osterburg, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Greensburg. Born in Jersey City, Hudson County, N.J., Monday, Feb. 28, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Erminia (Barone) Abbatiello. She was an employee and volunteer at the Old Bedford Village. She was the wife of Joseph Vitale, who preceded her in death on April 16, 1981. She is survived by her daughter, Robbie, wife of Mark Greenfield, of Greensburg; daughter, Pat, wife of Augie Festa, of Hoboken, N.J.; and sister, Kay Osnato of Fairview, N.J. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson and four brothers. Friends are invited to call Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LOUIS GEISEL FUNERAL HOME, 330 E. Pitt St., Bedford, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John Bennett officiating. Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.

ISABEL MILLER CAMPBELL
Isabel Miller Campbell, of McCandless Township, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999. Beloved wife of Robert L. Campbell. Mother of Dr. Tricia Campbell of Keene, N.H. Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Carnegie Tech, was a member of the Kushkushkee Trail Chapter of the DAR and the Wildwood Golf Club, and also volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels in the West View area. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the SIMONS FUNERAL HOME INC., 7720 Perry Highway, Ross Township, where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park. The family suggests contributions to UPMC Passavant Hospital Foundation, 9100 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
