John C. Porac, age 59, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001. Beloved husband of Joan M. (Valenti) Porac. Also survived by loving children, Jennifer L. Porac of Palm Harbor, Fla., Jacquelyn B. Merillat and her husband Jason of Media, Pa., and John A. Porac of Emsworth; his mother, Cecelia Porac of Windgap; a sister, Joan M. Crane and her husband John of Kennedy Twp.; grandchildren, Robert M. and Katherine E. Merillat; and an aunt, Elizabeth Kratovil of Robinson Twp. An accountant by profession, Mr. Porac was a 1964 graduate of Duquesne University. From 1964-66, he served with the U.S. Navy. Mike (Mile) Rakich, age 87, on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001. Son of the late Sava and Bozo Rakich. Preceded in death by a sister, Boja Lichina, and brothers, Nick and Pete Karan. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rakich was a World War II veteran and was employed as a coal miner for many years. Marian Kablach Steinmetz, 85, on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001 in Windsor Place, Ross. She was born Aug. 20, 1916, daughter of Otto and Mary Kablach. Mrs. Kablach had been a homemaker and was a former employee for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and former president of Triangle Welding in the Strip District. Triangle Welding Co. was founded by her late husband Clarence Steinmetz. Mrs. Steinmetz is survived by her children, Robert Steinmetz, and his wife Vicki, Rita Steinmetz, Sally Sharpless and her husband Allan of Utah, James Steinmetz and his wife Carol of Florida, Regina Scanlon and her husband Patrick of Delaware, Marie Killeen and her husband John of Virginia, Joe Steinmetz and his wife Ami; four brothers, Clarence, Francis (Skip), Thomas and John. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy and three brothers, Richard, Robert and Joseph. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME INC., 1501 Lowrie St., Troy Hill. Grandfather of Katie and Alex Andrews. Brother of Kostas Tsourekis, Zoe (Vasilis) Anestopoulos, Andreas (Maria) Tsourekis and the late Demitri Tsourekis. Uncle of Athanasios (Maria) and Sotirios Tsourekis, and several nieces and nephews in Greece. Friends received at JOHN A. He married Angeliki in 1964 and they came to the United States in the same year. Upon his arrival, Angelo became and active member of the Greek community in Pittsburgh. He joined Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, became an active member of G.A.P.A. and A.H.E.P.A., joined American Legion Post 595, where he served as chaplain, and for the past 22 years, was a member and chantor of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

William S. Wise, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born in Clearfield County, March 28, 1920, the son of Ernest J. and Lois Lippert Wise. He was a retired draftsman, foreman and vice-president of Playtime Equipment Corporation of Mars. He was a member of Dutilh United Methodist Church and a former member of Mars United Methodist Church. Mr. Wise had attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and taught classes there and at Cranberry Senior Center. At age 80, he took classes at BC3 Cranberry. He was a member of Butler County Associated Artists and belonged to Cranberry Senior Citizens. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Mars V.F.W. Post 7505. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Mae Rainey Wise, whom he married on Jan. 3, 1947, and who died March 17, 1993. Also preceded in death by a brother, David Wise. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Barbara) Gray of Mars; three sons, William Wise Jr., John A. Wise and Ernest J. Wise, all of Butler; six grandchildren; one niece. Friends received at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME INC., 238 Crowe Ave., in Mars from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Tony Fallisi, associate pastor of Dutilh United Methodist Church as officiant. Burial in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township. Memorials may be made to Cranberry Senior Center, Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 for Sidney Roberts of Millbank (RD 2, Ligonier) who died Tuesday at his home after a long illness.
Rev. George H. Wright will conduct the obsequies in Sibel Wolford Funeral Home, and interment
will be in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts was born in Ligonier Township 65 years ago, son of John & Margaret Kuhns Roberts. He is survived by his widow (nee Elizabeth McCombs), two brothers (Roy of Natrona Heights and Vernon of Merchantville, Ohio) and two sisters (Miss Marie Roberts of Ligonier and Mrs. Dorothy Robb of Greensburg.)

Dorothy R. (Mrs. George F.) Robb, 84, of Pasadena, Texas, formerly of Ligonier and Greensburg, died Thursday, March 8, 1990, in Texas.
She was born April 11, 1905, in Ligonier Township, a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Kuhns) Roberts. She was a member of the Greensburg First
Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Robb; and three brothers, Sidney, Vernon and Roy Roberts. She is survived by three daughters, Jane Austin
of Topeka, Kan., Nancy Jamison of Pasadena, Texas, and Barbara Moyer of Bryan, Texas; a son, George F. Robb of Somerset, Mass.; a sister, Marie Roberts of
Ligonier; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Ligonier, with the Rev. John J. McClure officiating. Arrangements by
Wolford-McCracken Funeral Home Inc., Ligonier.
Burial will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.

W.D. Clopp, a well known resident of Derry township, living near Oakville, died at his home Saturday morning, March 20, 1926, following an illness of about a week. He was 64 years of age. Surviving are the widow, three sons, Ralph, of Portland, Ore.; Carl, of Cushing, Okla.; Fred, at home; a step-daughter, Mrs. John Wilkins, of Latrobe, and a step-son, William D. Dunlap, also of Latrobe.
Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Binkey of Altus, Okla., and Mrs. Anna Margaret Beard of Springdale, Arkansas, also survive.
The body was at his late residence until 10 o'clock Monday morning, at which time it was moved to the home of William D. Dunlap, where funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock, by the Rev. W.A. Sites and Rev. J.F. Strayer. Interment was made in the Youngstown Cemetery.
The Ligonier, PA Echo issue of 24 March 1926, p. 1, col. 3
John H. Clopp, a prominent resident of near Ligonier, died suddenly Tuesday morning, May 5, 1925. He had been in his usual health the previous evening, and had retired about nine o'clock. The next morning when they went to call him to breakfast he was found to have fallen into his last sleep. His sudden passing away was a great shock to the entire community as he was a man who was well and favorably known and he will be sadly missed by his friends and neighbors.
Mr. Clopp was born January 16, 1851 in Ligonier township and there he lived his entire life. When twenty five years of age he purchased the farm south of town which has ever since been his home.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Ligonier, being an elder in the church and always active in church work. He was a member of Ligonier Lodge No. 964, I.O.O.F., Ligonier Encampment No. 314 and Lady St. Clair Rebekah Lodge, and he was always interested in lodge activities. He was also an active Republican and had at different times held office in the township.
He is survived by three sons, Harry M., who lives on the home farm; John Wilbert, of Ligonier, and Roy F., of Charleston, W. Va. Also by a brother David Clopp, of Latrobe, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Beard and Mrs. Mary Binkey of Hollis, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in charge of his pastor, Rev. W.F. Fleming. Interment in Valley Cemetery. The local I.O.O.F. Lodge will conduct burial services at the grave.
