Karen S. "Susie" Feick, 54, of Smithton RD1, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. She was born Jan. 28, 1947, in Scottdale, a daughter of Lucille Hunter Murphy of Scottdale and the late Clifford Graft. She was a member and deaconess of the Grandview Church of God, Smithton, and a graduate of East Huntingdon High School. Susie enjoyed crafts, crocheting and knitting. Surviving are her husband of 33 years, John W. Feick, whom she married Aug. 31, 1968; five children, Saundra L. Rega and husband, Anthony, of the U.S. Air Force in Virginia, James A. Feick of Mt. Pleasant, Amy Yezek and husband, James, of Scottdale, Tracie Swank and husband, Sherman, of Everson and Jeremy Feick of the U.S. Air Force in Mississippi; four brothers, Richard Graft of Minnesota, Larry Graft and wife, Elaine, of Scottdale, Keith Graft and wife, Hattie, of Scottdale and Scott Graft and wife, Sandy, of Mt. Pleasant; four sisters, Joyce Lucot, Cindy Graft and Becky Graft, all of Scottdale and Shawnda Gemas and husband, Wilbert, of Everson; and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. D. Keith Solomon officiating. Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery. Donna J. Ferguson, 63, of Blairsville, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at UPMC Shadyside. She was born Nov. 6, 1937, in Burrell Township, a daughter of the late Donald L. and Beatrice (Long) Ferguson. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, and a 1955 graduate of Blairsville High School. Prior to retirement after 40 years of service, she had been employed by PNC Bank of Blairsville. She is survived by two brothers, James L. Ferguson and wife, Carol, of Blairsville and Samuel L. Ferguson and wife, Mary, of York; a sister, Bonnie Ann Ferguson of Black Lick; three nieces, Nancy and Samantha Ferguson and Jan Kindle; and four nephews, Todd, Brian, Justin and Jacob Ferguson. Friends will be received in the JAMES F. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, Blairsville, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. David Salinger and the Rev. Christopher Kindle co-officiating. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery.

Eleanor Elizabeth Smith Hall, 84, formerly of Turtle Creek, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Gnadenhutten, Ohio, a daughter of the late George E. and Eleanor Cherry Smith. She was a former licensed practical nurse for Columbia Hospital, Wilkinsburg. She was a member of the Ardara United Presbyterian Church, the Pythian Sisters and the Dames of Malta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hall; her aunt and uncle who raised her, David and Mary Colclaser; the following siblings: George R., Beaula M., Earl H., Rapheal B., Mary C., Henry W. and Ethel M. Smith; and her son-in-law, Russell V. Babeo Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor E. Meyers of Irwin and Marjorie D. Babeo of North Huntingdon; two grandsons, Glenn Edward Meyers and Russell Vincent Babeo Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Friends received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Frances (Peebles) Howe, 60, of Export, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001. She was born July 17, 1941, in Titusville, a daughter of the late Richard and Nellie (Stover) Peebles. She was a member of the Delmont Presbyterian Church. Frances is survived by her loving husband, Dale R. Howe Sr.; two daughters, Gail Evans and Leo Crosby of Delmont and Diane Howe of North Carolina; four sons, Jerry Durst and wife, Stacey, of Murrysville, Dennis Durst of Apollo, Dale Howe Jr. and wife, Penny, of Virginia and David Howe of Tennessee; a brother, Richard Peebles and wife, Betty, of Titusville; three sisters, Mary Wilson, Carol Kuzmich and husband, Ray, all of Titusville, and Sally Shipkosky of Ohio; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marjorie W. Patrick, 75, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Nov. 1, 1926, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John F. and Marjorie Hall Welsh. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral of Greensburg. Prior to retirement, she had been the manager of Osuna's Dress Shop in Palm Springs, Calif. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Murray "Tut" Patrick. She is survived by two daughters, Hally Edgar and her husband, David, and Lisa M. Patrick, all of Greensburg; and two grandchildren, Lisa and Alex Edgar. Friends will be received at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Latrobe
Stanley J. Repko, 90, of Latrobe, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 8, 1911, in New Alexandria, a son of the late John and Catherine Balik Repko. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, and was retired from Kennametal, both in Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Duda Repko, on March 16, 1995; and three sisters, Helen Repko, Mary Sobota and Julia Vasinko. Survivors include two sons, Jack Repko of Pittsburgh and Richard D. Repko and his wife, Dianne, of Greensburg; a brother, Frank Repko of Pittsburgh; four sisters, Rose Malo and Ann Britt, both of Whitney, and Sally Dellavechio and Wilda Downs, both of Latrobe; a grandson, Jason Repko; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Thomas Lukac as celebrant. Interment

Greensburg
Amil Paluka, 76, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Sept. 4, 1925, in West Newton, a son of the late Anthony and Anna Chulyk Paluka. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the G.C. Murphy Co. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict, he received the Bronze Star and was a member of American Legion Post 344 and F.O.E. 844, both of Jeannette. He was also a member of the Ascension Church, Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and John Paluka; and a sister, Helen Potocnik. Surviving are his loving wife, Gloria Moffa Paluka; a beloved son and daughter-in-law, Anthony K. Paluka and wife, Gail, of Racine, Wis.; two wonderful grandsons, Adam K. and Alexander K. Paluka; a sister, Thelma Marsh of West Newton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Ascension Church. Interment with military honors accorded by the Jeannette Combined Veterans will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Unity Township. The Jeannette Combined Veterans will hold a service Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Anna Furdak Sabol, 91, of Braddock, on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001. She was a former cook at St. Joseph's Church and worked and volunteered at Braddock General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Michael Sabol; mother of Michael, Victor and Andrew Sabol, Florence Komar, Bernadette Adams and Eleanor Sabol Swiger and the late Joseph Sabol. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends received at the RONALD V. Willard F. "Red" Sears, 68, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at his home. He was born May 12, 1933, in Burnsville, W.Va., a son of the late Macy Jack and Lula Bell Craig Sears. Prior to retiring on Nov. 1, 1970, he was a U.S. Marine Corps gunnery sergeant with over 20 years of service, and a veteran of the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. He also retired from U.S. Steel's Homestead Works as an accounting clerk and from Sears & Roebuck in Greensburg, and was employed by DeNunzio's Sunoco and Tire Center of Irwin. He was a member of the Arlington Baptist Church of Clarksburg, W.Va. He was a member and past president of the Italian Miners Society of Hahntown and VFW Post 781 of Irwin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Sears; brothers, Paul, David, Raymond and Gerald Sears; and a sister, Loretta Sears. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary Della Cecconello Sears; two daughters, Joyce and her husband, Rick Frischolz, of North Huntingdon and Sandra Sears-Bittner and her husband, Terry Bittner, of Irwin; a son, Willard F. "Skip" Sears Jr. of Irwin; several nieces and nephews, including Bob Cecconello and his wife, Twyla, and family of North Huntingdon; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Stacie, Brian and Brett Frischolz, Travis and Emily Sears, Victoria, Alexander and Elizabeth Bittner; three sisters, Jessie Swinger of Clarksburg, W.Va., Nancy Sears and Rosemary Fulton, both of Nashville, Tenn.; and four brothers, Jack Sears of Coshocton, Ohio, Robert Sears of Buckhannon, W.Va., Bill Sears of Bridgeport, W.Va., and Rick Sears of Las Vegas, Nev. Friends received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Josephine Marie Shoemaker, 75, of Unity Township, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born April 1, 1926, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Arthur A. and Cornelia Dell Hendrick. She was a retired cook for the St. Anne Home, Greensburg, and was an avid bowler. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Shoemaker; a son, Robert J. Shoemaker and his wife, Leona, of Valdosta, Ga.; two daughters, Susan Diane Lukasiewicz and her husband, Vincent "Luke, " of Quitman, Ga., and Roberta Joann Williamson and her husband, Jeffrey, of Greensburg; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Peter C. Hendrick and his wife, Mae, of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a sister, Barbara Ann Kelley and her husband, Robert, of North Apollo; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph Donnelly, Charles Hendrick, Arthur A. Hendrick Jr. and John Hendrick. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the COSHEY-NICHOLSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 W.
