Mary Shutterly Weimer, 85, of St. Charles, Mo., formerly of South Broadway, Scottdale, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, in Blanchette Place, St. Charles. She was born Sept. 10, 1916, in Scottdale, a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Shutterly. Mary was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Wentzville, Mo., and a former member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Lambing 314. She was a retired secretary for Geibel High School, Connellsville, with 10 years of service. Previously, she had been employed by the employment office in Connellsville for several years. Mary leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted sons, Harry C. Weimer and his wife, Dorothy (Overly), of Foristell, Mo., David A. Weimer and his wife, Lois (Hough), of St. Peters, Mo.; six grandchildren, Marcia Weimer, Kristine Cruzen, Michelle Hunn, David, Jeffrey and Kevin Weimer; 10 great- grandchildren; a brother, Ralph A. Shutterly and his wife, Polly, of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Loretta Norton of Connellsville. Mary's family will receive friends at the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale, with the Rev. Leonard W. Stoviak as celebrant. Graveside service and interment
will follow in St. John the Baptist R.C. Parish Cemetery, Scottdale. The family suggests gifts to the American Heart Association in memory of Mary S. Weimer.

Christina Wigton Wilson Zitterman, 79, of Murrysville, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, in her home. She was born April 19, 1922, in Warrior's Mark, a daughter of the late Dr. Harry C. and Anna Wade Wigton Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Fisher, Anna Wade Raup and Janet Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Zitterman; a son, Dr. Joseph A. Zitterman Jr. and his wife, Rita, of Estacada, Ore.; a daughter, Janet Baumann and her husband, F. Lee, of Murrysville; three grandchildren, Andrew Baumann and Katie and Alex Zitterman; four sisters, Mary Smith of Tyrone, Jennie Shoff of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Roberta Manning of Doylestown and Joan Hample of Bellwood; and a brother, John Wilson of Siloam Springs, Ark. Visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN T. HART FUNERAL HOME, Murrysville. Interment will be private in Murrysville Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville, with the Rev. Marnie Silbert officiating. If desired, memorials may be made to the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church or the Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh.

LaVerne E. Barthel, age 77, of the Village of St. Barnabas, Gibsonia, formerly of Pittsburgh and West Alexander, Washington County, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001. Born in Mt. Washington on July 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George and Ellen (Tiederman) Nusskern. Beloved wife for 56 years of Elmer E. Barthel. Dear mother of Jill Ellen Bennis of Elmhurst, Ill. Sister of Doris Prichard of Central, Ohio. Also survived by three grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Woodward. Friends received Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Funeral Service Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dr. David L. McDonald of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown will officiate. Interment in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Mt. Troy. Mrs. Barthel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown and the Order of the Eastern Star. If desired, memorial donations may be made to her church at Route 8, Bakerstown, PA 15007.

Carmine Caveeck, 76, on Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, in UPMC McKeesport. Mr. Caveeck was the owner of Carmine's Barber Shop in Munhall and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Marie M. Caveeck; sons, Carmine M. Caveeck and Anthony L. Caveeck, both of Munhall, and Richard W. Caveeck of Glassport; sisters, Catherine Thomas of Sarver, Ann Maniago of California, Phelomena Devay, Josephine Sambuco, Rose Miller and Antoinette Wilson, all of Turtle Creek; brothers, Richard Cavicchia of Munhall, and the late Michael and Samuel Cavicchia; granddaughters, Deana, Dawn, Lisa and Angela; grandson, Jason; great-grandchildren, Michelene, Morgan, Lauren, Anna and Zachary. Alvin F. Hundertmark, age 78, on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, in St. John's Lutheran Care Center, Mars. Born May 16, 1923, in Etna, he was the son of the late Ernest and Emma Schlumpf Hundertmark. Mr. Hundertmark was a retired mechanical engineer, having served for over 40 years with U.S. Steel. He was a World War II Army veteran and a former member of the Richland Township Planning Commission. Survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Carolyn Shaw Hundertmark; two sons, Eric Hundertmark of Trappe, Pa., Gary Hundertmark of Franklin, Pa., and Beth Kellner of Harrisville, Pa. Brother of Ernestine Hundertmark of Richland, Dorothy Green of Virginia, Leona Zimmerman of Missouri and Ernest Hundertmark of Kennerdell, Pa. Grandfather of Evan, Darrel, Megan and Nathan Hundertmark and Grace Kellner.
