MARY C. MANCINI, 91, of Atwood Ave., Cranston, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston.
Born in Providence, the beloved daughter of the late Giovanni and Antonia (Vacca) Mancini, she was a lifelong Cranston resident.
Mary received her accounting degree from Bryant College and worked as a bookkeeper for many years.
She is survived by her dear sister, Michelena “Mickey” Mancini of Cranston, and many loving cousins. She was the dear sister of the late Filomena “Fannie” Mancini.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS WEDNESDAY MORNING 8-9 a.m.

Leopoldina “Pauline” (Pires) Henriques 84, of Riverside Dr. South Kingstown passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, October 8, 2007 at South County Hospital Wakefield. She was the beloved wife of the late Diamantino”Diamond” Henriques. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joaquim and Margarida (Martins) Pires. Mrs. Henriques volunteered many hours of her time at South County Hospital. Pauline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will sadly be missed by her family. She is survived by her loving sons, Paul Henriques and his wife Diana , Richard Henriques and his wife Gail both of South Kingstown, her devoted siblings, Joseph Gomes and Emily Ferriera both of East Providence, her cherished granddaughters, Jessica and Tara Henriques. She was the sister of the late, Manuel and Joe Pires, Mary Pires and Fernando Gomes. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rte 1A) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St. Wakefield. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5-8 pm.

JOSEPH A. PIETRANTONIO

Joseph A. “Joe Pete” Pietrantonio 75, of Scituate Avenue, Cranston, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2007 after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by his beloved family and companion. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Filomena (DelVecchio) Pietrantonio. Mr. Pietrantonio was a highly respected Realtor with Prudential-Gammons Real Estate of Cranston and was previously associated with several other real estate agencies in Rhode Island throughout his career of thirty years. He was a member of the Rhode Island Board of Realtors and the Greater Providence Board of Realtors and was the recipient of numerous professional honors. Mr. Pietrantonio was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and an active member of the Alpine Country Club. He is survived by his loving sisters; Anna Vicario of Providence and Esther DiRobbio of Johnston and was the brother of the late Paul and Vincent Pietrantonio. Mr. Pietrantonio was the uncle of Joseph V. Pietrantonio of Providence, Anthony J. Vicario of Cranston and Grace Silvestri of North Providence. He was the beloved companion of Joanna P. Longtin of Cranston and her children, Julie Longtin of Cranston and Robin Longtin of Palm Harbor, FL and grandchildren, Godson Anthony and Ariana Sinapi. He is also survived by numerous close and loyal friends. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Josephine “Jo” C. (Millian) Shea 73, of Naples, Florida passed away Saturday October 6, 2007 at Naples Community Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William J. Shea and they were married for the past 46 years. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph and Madge (Wright) Millian. Mrs. Shea worked for the Narragansett School Department for 20 years as a Bus Driver until retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Naples Land Yacht Harbor and its cruise club, where she taught line dancing. She was an avid Mah-Jongg player. She was a past president of the Mettatuxett Improvement Association. Besides her beloved husband William she is survived by her loving son, Steven W. Shea and his wife Kristin of Narragansett, her cherished grandchildren, Billy, Brittany and Patrick. She was the loving mother of the late Billy and Kevin Shea, and the sister of the late Charles Berge and Jessie Mitchelle. Martha M. Paglio 82, of Charles Street, Providence, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Cranston she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Mancini) Paglio. Miss Paglio worked in electronics for the former GTI Company of Providence. She is survived by two sisters Rita Cerullo and Anna M. Cullen both of Johnston and was the sister of the late Thomas, John, Victor, Albert and Leonard Paglio. Miss Paglio was the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Avenue. Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. 1st Lieutenant Gregory F. Zavota U.S. Army, died on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at home. He was born in Attleboro, MA a son of Gerarld and Lisa (Capineri) Zavota of Narragansett. 1st Lt. Gregory F. Zavota was a Medivac Pilot for the U.S. Army and had been currently stationed at Ft. Campbell, TN. In May of 2005 he graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He also was a 2001 graduate of Barrington High School. Besides his parents he leaves one sister, Kerri Zavota of Narragansett and his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ethel Capineri of Pawtucket. He was also the paternal grandson of the late Frank and Florence Zavota. His funeral with military honors will be held on Monday at 9:30 am. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd.(Rte.1A) Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church , 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett at 11:00am. Jennie (Flori) Vicca, 88, of North Providence, died on Friday, October 12, 2007, in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Americo Vicca. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Anna Flori. Mrs. Vicca worked for New England Telephone Company in the maintenance department for 25 years retiring in 1984. She is survived by her children, Andrea A. Cacchiotti of North Providence, Anne E. Cravenho and her husband Ron of Pawtucket, and James A. Vicca and his wife Sandra of Johnston. She was the grandmother of six and great-grandmother of five. She was the mother of the late Steven N. Vicca and sister of the late Nancy McEleny, Anna Cipriano and Etta Santillo. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Presentation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Johnston. MARIA (LAMANTIA) GRUTTADAURIA, 87, of Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston, formerly of Cranston, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Gruttadauria.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Angelina (Palmisano) Lamantia, she moved to Cranston in 1985.
She was the devoted mother of Maria Thurber of Cranston, Ronald A. Gruttadauria and his wife Marie of Johnston, and Tyrone M. Gruttadauria of Cranston; loving grandmother of four; great-grandmother of six; and dear sister of the late Salvatore, Michael and John Lamantia.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

ANGELO M. QUATTRO

Angelo M. Quattro 87, of Park Ave. Cranston passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 10, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of the late Elena (Del Signore) Quattro. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Giovanni and Emilia (Rosiello) Quarto. Mr. Quattro was a polisher at the Imperial Knife Company for 36 years, and later was a technical consultant at Gorham Manufacturing Company. He was an Army veteran serving in WW II from 1941-1945. He was an avid bowler, weight lifter and artisan baker. He was well known for his kind, gentle nature and a profound love of music, dancing and art. He was an active member of the Park View Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his loving children, Linda S. Quattro of Providence and Michael J. Quattro of California, his loving sisters, Anna Koziol of Cumberland, Amelia Smith of East Providence, Rose Livingston, California , his cherished grandchildren, Aaron Washington, Christine Quattro and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Pattie, Dante and Alexander Washington. He was the brother of the late Joseph Quattro, Freddie and Michael Quarto, Mary Murphy, Frances Nardelli, Arthur DiSpirito and Christine Cinquegrano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Home Service on Thursday at 10 AM in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave Cranston. Licia “Lucy” (Spirito) Pazienza 87, of Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston. She was the wife of the late Guido Pazienza. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Sylvia (Falcone) Spirito. Mrs. Pazienza was employed by Evans Findings of Providence for thirty-four years. She resided in Cranston most of her life. Lucy enjoyed line and ballroom dancing. She is survived by her children Marsha Sbardella and her husband Peter of Cranston and Stephan Pazienza and his wife Judy of Ohio. Mrs. Pazienza was the grandmother of five and the great-grandmother of six great-grand-daughters. She was the sister of the late Leisa, Silvia, Gilda, Vincent, William, Thomas and Christy Spirito. Born in East Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Alfredo and Adelia (Mastropini) Felici. She worked for the former Kestenman Brothers of Providence for many years retiring in 1977. She is survived by a son; Richard A. Felici of North Providence, two grandchildren; Ann Sinotte of Pawtucket and Diana Felici of CA., five great-grandchildren; Michaela, Michael, Matthew, Gianna and Joseph, a sister; Sr. Pia Eugenia Felici of Milan, Italy. She was the mother of the late Robert G. Felici and sister of the late Fiorenzo Felici. TOMASINA P. (PACITTO) MARSELLA, 81, of Paolino St., Providence, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John Marsella.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Broccoli) Pacitto, she was a lifelong Providence resident.
Tomasina was a salesperson at the former Peerless Company in Downtown Providence for 25 years, before retiring.
She was the loving sister of Paul Pacitto and his wife Bernice “Bunny” of Danielson, CT, and the late Mary LaFleur and Ida Mann; dear aunt of Hilda Adamo of Johnston; and loving aunt of several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence, followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
