died January 1, 2003 at Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag.
Wife of the late Arthur Zahn.
She was born May 10, 1911, in Woonsocket, RI
Daughter of the late Louis and Mary Elizabeth (Reid) Ladouceur.
Survivors include,
Son - Brian Zahn of Lithia, FL.
Son - David Zahn of Attleboro, MA.
Son - Ronald Zahn of Garland, Texas
Daughter - Mary Strong of Plainfield, CT.
Sister - Elsie Springer of Lincolnsville, ME
Deceased Sister - Violet Remblad of Woonsocket, R.I.
Deceased Sister - Alice Tobin of Woonsocket, R.I.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10am in the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy.,
Oakland. Burial will be private.

died on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI.
Wife of the late Michael Yuszczak.
She was born December 8, 1929, in Woonsocket, RI
Daughter of Deceased Mother - Rose Emma (Thibeault) Viens.
Worked at the former Tupperware Company in North Smithfield many years until 1969.
Lived in Woonsocket 6 years, moving from the Nasonville section of Burrillville where she lived
most of her life. She was an active member of the New Life Worship Church in Smithfield.

She was born on September 28, 1911, in Providence, RI
Daughter of the late Chester and Mary (Russell) Swan
She was a spinner for the former Stillwater Worsted in Mapleville for many years retiring in 1970.She lived most of her life in Mapleville. She was a member of the Burrillville Senoir Citizens and the Ashton Court Club.

Daughter - Joan (Young) Trinque of Pascoag, R.I.
She was preceded in Death by:

Funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30am from the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Victory Hwy. Mapleville,
Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Harrisville.

Waite, Mary Alice
Waite, Mary Alice, 83 ,formerly of Steere Farm Road, Harrisville, RI
died March1, 2003 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI.
She was born October 15, 1919, in Taunton, MA
Daughter of the late Percy and Mary (Leeming) Waite.
Worked as a clerk/typist for the RI Department of Health in Providence 31 years retiring
in 1978. Served in the US Army WACS during WW11 and then as a reservist for 25 more
years. Lived in Burrillville most of her life.
Survivors include,
Sister - Marion L. Paul of Pascoag, R.I.
A committal service will be held Wednesday at 10am in the Pascoag Cemetery, Pascoag, RI.
Arrangements under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

Ruth O. (Davis) Todd 93 formerly of Davis St. E. Douglas MA.
died on Monday, October 21, 2002 at Bayberry Commons Nursing Home in Pascoag, RI.

Daughter of the late Perley and Leona (Alger) Davis
She was a machine operator for the former Whitin's Machine Shop in Whitinsville MA. for 30 years retiring in 1968. Resident of Bayberry Commons Nursing Home in Pascoag RI. since 1997, also living in Pascoag 2 years, previously living in Keene NH. for 40 years and also East Douglas, where she lived 40 years .

died March 8, 2003 at Wildflowers Nursing Home, in Greenville, RI.
Husband of Ramona (Bruyneel) Proulx.
He was born on Thursday, June 30, 1921, in Nasonville, RI
Son of the late Louis and Amelia (LaBontie) Proulx.
Worked in area textiles many years retiring in 1962. Before that he he was a store clerk for the former Pickering Variety Store in Nasonville. He and his wife celebrated their 54th wedding annerversary February 26th of this year. Life long Burrillville resident.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (LaBlatt) St. Pierre
She was mender for the former Uxbridge Worcested Mills in Uxbridge MA, retiring in 1969. Before that she was a mender for many years for the former Lippit Mills in Woonsocket. She was a lifelong Burrillville resident. She was a communicant and former organist of Our Lady of Good Help Church in Mapleville.

She was born on February 11, 1918, in Chepachet, RI
Daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Baribeau)Trinque
She was a hairdresser for the former Helen' Beauty Salon in Pascoag, retiring in 1985. She also did hairdressing for area local salons, for many years. She was a Burrillville resident since 1967, moving from Chepachet where she previously lived.
Survivors include,

Stepson - Stephen R. Rawson of Harrisville, R.I.
Sister - Lydia Robitaille of Florida

Harry Thanos
Harry Thanos, 79 ,of resident of Harrisville, RI
died on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital, Fatima Unit in North Providence, RI.
Husband of Barbara (Poer) Thanos
He was born on December 2, 1923, in Chicago, IL
Son of the late John and Catherine (Checkos) Thanos
He worked for the former Amperex Co. in Slatersville as an electrical engineer, for 24 years, retiring in Jan. 1990. He also worked as an electrical engineer for the following, IBM, Admiral Corporation, Warwick Corporation all in the Chicago IL. area, also the RCA Corporation in Somerville NJ. He was a resident of Burrillville since 1975 previously living in Greenville and Conventry and in Somerville NJ where he lived 8 years, he also lived 30 years in Gary Indiana where he graduated from Froebel High School.. He recieved his Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the Purdue University in Indiana. In 1955 he invented the first solar radio ( amongst other items). He was a WW11 army veteran serving in the Pacific area. He and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 18, 2001. He was a member of the following, the Mason's Friendship Lodge in Chepachet, the Burrillville Senior Citizen's Club, and the Blackstone Valley Amateur Radio Club.

Son - Michael Thanos of Hudson, Mass.
Daughter - Tina Thanos of Harrisville, R.I.
Daughter - Teresa Hopkins of Lincoln, R.I.

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren 1 great grandson
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 10am in the Keene - Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
Burial with military honors will be in RI Veteran's Cemetery 301 South County Trail Exeter, RI.
