Born in Tonbridge, England, a daughter of the late William and Nellie (Skinner) Tovey, she had lived in Barrington moving to East Providence 38 years ago.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and was a former director of the Junior Choir.
She was a former member of the Barrington Garden Club and the Barrington Yacht Club.
She leaves a daughter, Joan F. Mullins of Scotia, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
The funeral will be private. Burial will be in Juniper Hill Cemetery in Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to St. John's Episcopal Church 191 County Road. Arrangements are by the Smith-Mason Funeral Home in Riverside.
